I ordered an item costing approximately $100 on 5/11/2025. Target asked for an updated address because they couldn't find the apartment I wanted it delivered to. I added more detail to help them find it. I told their customer service I didn't want a refund because it's no longer on sale. They refunded it anyway. I will now have to pay %50 more to reorder it. I should be able to reorder it for the sale price.Business Response

On May 20, 2025, I contacted Target customer support to request a price match on a ******* product I had in my cart. The agent confirmed eligibility and adjusted the price, urging me to place the order immediately.However, I later discovered that my Target account had been accidentally registered with a typo in the email address ******************** a mistake I wasnt aware of until after the order was placed. This error resulted in my full name, home address, and order details being sent to an email account I do not own, which may belong to a stranger with a similar name.I asked the agent to correct the email or cancel the order, but was told repeatedly that email changes could not be made via chat, and was directed to a phone line that turned out to be an automated system with no help. I was left without support while my personal information was ************** make matters worse, I had just applied a Target gift card to the wrong account and now have no way to recover it.This is a clear privacy and security issue, and Target failed to respond with urgency or provide any meaningful resolution despite my distress and repeated requests.I am requesting that Target:Cancel the affected order;Remove my home address and personal data from the incorrect account;Recover or reissue my Target gift card;Investigate why unverified accounts can be used to place home deliveries; and Offer an apology for the mishandling and lack of adequate customer support.Business Response

I recently created a Target.com account. I now want to delete my account, but cannot seem to do so. Every time I fill out the online deletion form provided to me by a target chat **** I get an email saying that I didnt provide enough of my acct info in the form or that I filled out the form with incorrect acct info. I have verified that I am in fact submitting accurate acct info in this account deletion form, and that I am filling out the form beginning to end. I dont see how such a basic request is so difficult to fulfill. I need my Target account deleted, not disabled but entirely deleted. I placed an online order on 5/20/2025 at target for 9 items. My order was canceled by the store unexpectedly without explanation. I called customer service and they were told that they spoke to me about the canceled order which was not true. My phone number was not saved in my target account to make a phone call at the time of the order. I saved my phone number in my account after the order was canceled. I received an email stating a refund will be given back. Later on after 8pm, an email was sent that my return was approved and I will not receive a refund for the canceled items. I never returned anything when they canceled my order. They have taken my money and will not return it back to me. An investigation will be ensue by law enforcement as well.Business Response

I brought 4 **** egift cards from target online and they sold me some damaged egift cards and will not replace them and I called **** and they told me to call target back and then they lied to me and said that they sent me replacement new egift card and they were the same ones all I want is 4 new egift cards please.Business Response

I canceled the 14 day trial with target, my email is ******************* but upon reviewing my credit card statements I have two charges in February and march for the membership, if I knew it was still active I would have used the benefits, but I did not use it at all and would like to confirm that it is now cancelled since I don't have any more recent monthly charges and I would like a refund of the two 9.99 chargesBusiness Response

Thanks for contacting Target through the Better Business Bureau regarding your recent experience.We understand you were charged the Target Circle 360 monthly membership fee in February 2025 and March 2025 though the membership was cancelled after the two-week trial. We located four accounts with trials activated between December 2024 and February 2025 and confirmed all memberships were cancelled successfully. Though the trial offer was for two weeks, the redemption across multiple accounts provided eight weeks of service. In March we issued a refund for two membership charges; we are unable to issue any additional refunds at this time.
While Im not able to offer you the resolution youre looking for, we appreciate the time youve taken to share your feedback.

I'd like to respectfully request a review of my recent flagged account / suspension. I believe this may have been an error, as I am not a reseller and have never intended to violate Targets Terms of Service.I am a passionate consumer and collector, particularly of Pokmon products and Sports cards, which is why Ive made multiple purchases in that category. These items are for my personal collection and enjoyment, not for resale in any form. My account has been flagged as a reseller and any orders I try placing are getting cancelled without explanation which is what prompted me to contact a customer service agent through chat that informed me of the flagged account. I even tried placing an order for plastic containers and snacks (completely unrelated to what I normally order) and the order was cancelled.Logically, how much money could I possibly make from the quantity I've ordered from my account if I was a reseller? It doesn't make sense. I could see an account getting flagged if they were buying cases and cases of products, but if you look at my account you'll see the majority of ALL of my orders have been cancelled by Target in the past and the quantity I've received is quite small.Please investigate this matter and lift the flag and explain to me what has happened for the flag to be placed on my account in the first place, so the policy isn't accidentaly violated in the future.Business Response

My husbands account was hacked , someone made an online order from target Levittown , ** , for $217.24 , we called our bank they refunded the money only for target to say it was him and they took the money back out of our account . After many trips and calls between us and target they are not willing to help us claiming they only hold onto video evidence for 30 days , their investigation says that he was the one that showed up to pick up this order , this person never had to show proof of identity.
