BAIT AND SWITCH!!! I parked at *********** Parking on 7th Street in *********** at 4:38 PM on 02/01/24. When I drove inside the ramp, the sandwich board sign at the entry of the garage listed parking after 4pm $10. I took my child to a dance class one block away and returned a few minutes after 6pm. By that time, another sandwich board had been set up and it read $35 event parking. I buzzed the attendant to explain the situation and was told that I had to pay $38.24 regardless of what the sign was when I arrived because there was an event on somewhere that evening. I wasn't going to that event and was not alerted to any event, so am I expected to be clairvoyant about how a parking rate would change while I was in another building??Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

Good morning, There was a concert at the ************* and at ************. Our Wind Masters at the Street Level were switched at 3pm when the Event Rate of $35 plus tax started. I'm not sure what **************** you're referencing and I would be happy to look into that for you. However, as mentioned about, our Signs at the Street Level were on display as our Staff is required to take pictures and fill out Event Logs which show 3pm for this. The Parking Rate is determined by local Events, not which building you're going to unfortunately and nothing was changed after 3pm as that is when the Event Rate started.Review fromDaniel G

This is a company with unethical business practices. They continue to ticket cars in *********** parking lots even though the customers have paid. When asked about it, the response is always, "Oh, our mistake!" But how many people how been falsely ticketed????Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

This complaint is false and ******************** has made threats of complaints against Interstate to the BBB. This will be the 4th time he has entered the wrong vehicle information which has resulted in a citation and the 4th time that we've voided it. Please see the communication below... Good afternoon ******,I received your BBB complaint and I responded to the previous one as well. We are happy to help out and offer solutions, but we really need your cooperation and understanding of how the process works. Previously you made the same statement and upon us digging into everything, it was discovered that you entered the incorrect License Plate # which triggered the Citation. I looked through our Payment Portal and it appears that you entered the wrong plate again which was HDM626 (transaction below).MN2147- Lasalle Court HDM626 1/30/2024 9:24 1/30/2024 21:29 1/30/2024 9:24 ****Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

From ******:Please note that I am in the process of filing a complaint against you with the BBB and ********* ********** of ******** for your unethical business practices.Once again I found a ticket on my car. Yet again,.you are wrong because I paid and have a receipt.I believe that you have a problem with your software. You are unable to determine who has paid and therefore you ticket cars. You work for a very unethical employer. You are thieves.Review fromJamal T

I'm trying to park at a lot that belongs to Interstate on St. ***** in **. The app won't take my money. When I go online, Lot MN **** is not even listed. The contact number that I found online, NOT ON THEIR SITE, was not working. **************** is certainly NOT one of their strong suits.Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

Hi there *****,I'm sorry to here about your experience. We would love to help you out going forward and offer you a 2 Free Parking Passes in the future. The App has strict Credit Card Policies and some Financial Institutions decline transactions as Zip Codes and a couple key items don't match. I double checked our website and I see the MN2043 location is listed. Is it possible that you were viewing a different city on our website? I did click on the *********** and Saint **** tabs as well. These have our Phone Number listed correctly at ************ and our Phone has a 24/7 person On Call when pressing option #2. Either way, we appreciate the feedback.Thank you!Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

As you can see, our system is working correctly, and we are an honest business. This error was simply made on your part, not ours. We will happily Void this Citation one more time, but going forward, you will need to enter your correct Plate as this will be the 4th Citation that we've voided. Please let me know how you would like to handle the BBB Complaint as well. You can either remove it or I can respond to the Complaint and upload our email changes. If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them. Thanks!Review fromDon S

1 star******************* Has poor master signage, another hidden sign 15 feet from car hidden beneath tree branches. No numbers on spaces and I had never seen such an arrangement (QR code, downloading app etc...just didn't see I had to do anything) so thought parking was free. Got a $50 fine (outrageous for $2 parking fee)went to their site to appeal, got an immediate automatic denial - does not appear they even read my appeal.crookedReview fromtroy w

Hello, I parked in Interstate parking facility located on 5th Ave in ***********. I parked about 18" into the "no parking" area as a result of a prior vehicle parking on the right side of my vehicle in which that vehicle was over the line. I had to park in the No parking area by 18" inches to avoid parking on top of another vehicle. When the security guard took the picture, the other vehicle had left and a new vehicle was parked correctly, thus, making it look like a incorrectly parked for no reason. Is it possible to have this violation removed? Thanks violation *********** PS - On the back of the violation envelope it does state the violation was issued to cover loss of revenues as well as patrol and preliminary collections.I did not cause Interstate parking to lose money because no one can park in the "no parking" area. There was no loss of revenue for Interstate.Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

**** can follow the instructions on the Citation and Appeal this through our ***************** By stating what **** just stated and sending in a picture, we would void the Citation. This isn't a valid complaint as the Citation clearly states how to appeal and customers are supposed to park within the lines to meet **** ***** and Safety Laws.Review fromClaudia M

Interstate parking is not only completely incompetent but they truly don't care about issues their customers have. I live in one of the condominiums in ************ and I need to drive through their ramp to get to our secured ramp for residents. They had a power outage and their internet went down. My husband got home a half an hour before I did and wasn't able to get in because the system was down. There was still a parking attendant who let my husband in the gate. My husband let the attendant know I would be arriving home shortly so he could let me in. When I got to the gate there was another tenant trying to get in but couldn't. While I was waiting, hoping the attendant would come out to help us, I saw him get in his car and leave!!! We called the Interstate number but they told us there was nothing they could do to help us. They said we could park a few blocks away, that was their solution. WE WEREN'T ABLE TO GET INTO OUR OWN HOUSE!!!Have an attendant on call. Have a manager come and let people in. They didn't provide a solution because they didn't want to provide a solution. Worthless and incompetent! We have a lot of elderly tenants that can't park down the street. What if this happens in the middle of winter?? Figure it out Interstate!!!Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

Good morning *******,We are sorry for your experience. Unfortunately we lost Power as a Main Breaker blew out and then that power surge damaged the ******* Modem. I can assure you that I personally worked on this for 3+ hours to get everything back up and running while working with Xcel, *******, and our Staff. We learned from this experience as this is the worst case scenario for everything and we added some additional protocols to help minimize the issues if this were to ever happen again. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, but our staff was definitively working on solving the problem.Review fromAshley R

Scam. We went to the aquarium in ******. I would have been happy to pay for parking had I had any idea we needed to. We were there for a homeschool field trip. 8 other families were along in their own personal vehicles. Not one of ** noticed the sinage or where we were to pay for parking. There was a gate entering the lot in with the arm was locked upright allowing people to come in and park. There was a small sign if you stopped at the gate that said we needed to pay, but with the gate up common sense assumed we could park. The place was dead. The meter in which to pay was not even at the entrance to the aquarium. It was off to the side. There were no numbers on the spaces or signs on the spaces. It was completely a scam. Not one of ** had the intent to not pay for something we owed, but when 8 separate families come through and not one noticed the need to pay obviously there is a problem. Out of the 8, only two got tickets, so explain that. This was obviously a scam to make money. It was a lot connected to an aquarium we paid to enter, so it was very easy to assume with a gate up, absolutely no obvious signage, that parking was included with entrance to the aquarium. Disappointing.Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

Hey, ******! so sorry you had issues. We don't show any records that you tried to contact us before you went to the BBB. Maybe you used a different email?I had our staff check on this lot and you drove by signage on the booth that instructs you to pay in advance, a 4' sign right next to the booth that reads "please note your license plate number before paying machine in advance," and another 4' sign as you walk into the Aquarium that says "Welcome, Please remember to pay for parking in advance." Parking is complimentary to Aquarium season pass holders, only.Once again, so sorry for the confusion!Review fromCarly M

1 starIf I could give them a zero star rating I would. My car got broken into yesterday while parked in their lot during the day along with 4 other cars. I called to complain. All they said was "sorry, getting your car broken into is hard." Nothing after that, they told me there was nothing else they could do. Today 7 other cars got broken into including 2 of my coworkers. Still nothing from them. There are no cameras posted or person at the building on the premises. How is this a secure lot??Review fromScott Fontana

My wife and I parked at one of Interstate's garages in St. Paul 2 days before Christmas. It was terribly cold that day/night. We entered the lot via my credit card and the gate opened and we parked to go to a concert at Xcel Energy. When we came back I approached the gate and put my credit card in so as to pay. There was no attendant on duty. The machine reading the credit card wouldn't lift the gate, actually it did nothing. I got out of the care and tried, but again NOTHING. Now it was -15 degrees outside. I pushed the call button and waited for a response for 15 minutes, NOTHING No repsonse. The low gas light came on. My wife and I are 68 years old and I had to leave. Interstate was nonresponsive and left me no choice but to lift the gate and leave. What a HORRIBLE parking lot. I checked the other BBB responses and now I understand how they "operate". And get this, They sent me a $**** dollar invoice. I have no words.........Interstate Parking Company of MN, LLC

*****- You and I talked on the phone about this issue and came to a solution. We waived the citation and talked through the issue and what could've caused this. You were extremely happy and thankful with our resolution. Thanks!Scott Fontana

On 12/28/22, I incorrectly purchased a one day ticket for $* when I actually needed a 2 day pass. I thought if I bought another 1 day pass it would reflect the following day, but I realized it only reflected the 28th as well. I called the phone number on the kiosk and was told that I could put both $* passes (=$**- same as a 2 day pass) on my windshield and they would call the parking "police" and let them know that my license plate was approved to park as long as I displayed the two 1-day passes. I came back to two tickets on my car but didn't realize they were separate companies until going through my records now. The other Parking recovery service or whatever, dismissed my ticket, but I got a letter from INterstate saying I now owe $*****. yes, it was my mistake that I didn't realize both tickets were separte entities- which in and of itself is ridiculous! but since I was told that everything was okay I shouldn't have received ANY tickets. to be fair, this still could be resolved, but it is ridiculous you cannot talk anyone over phone and have to emailInterstate Parking Company of MN, LLC
