      If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I took my brother out to eat at, “Ruth Chris,”for his birthday. I parked in the lot directly across from Ruth Chris, and paid! I put my receipt on my front dash in the windshield. I visit my grandmother to help fix a few things around the house. She gives me a letter from interstate parking. It’s a threatening letter demanding I pay $80 for unpaid illegal parking in August of 2022. There were 3 letters that all stated the $80 will go to collections if not paid and I will have my vehicle towed if parked in a lot downtown. No where does it state, if you believe we made a mistake contact us at… etc. The only thing present was $80 needing to be paid for $5 of parking. I call and proceed to send a bank statement with all of my personal information present. It’s ridiculous that the burden of proof is on the customer rather then the company. It seems to me like they have employees that walk through lots writing parking violations on every car present indiscriminately. Just the thought of a your regular everyday person throwing away a receipt from months ago after paying! God forbid you pay cash and cant print a bank statement. Then are you just stuck with $80 in collections? Then proceeds to send you threatening letters in the mail! It’s ridiculous that any company do anything remotely close to this.

      Lack of signage. recently visited a city where parking was free for lunch. When I returned to the car there was a $30 ticket. Had to venture down the street to see the first notice that it had become paid parking through an app. Company instantly denies any protest.
