We ordered a chaise sofa in early Jan 2023 based on the quality and options available, AND the shipping time being 4-6 weeks. We decided to order it. I got denied on my credit check because of employee mistake putting in my wrong birth date. Thankfully my husband was there and he got approved and didn't get his credit messed up. After week 7, we called and it was said that the date got pushed back another 2 weeks. On that date we called and another tentative date was told. Again, we called and another date was told. I'd like to point out that in these instances , we called them. We did not receive any update from the store after being told the date it was supposed to be ready. It is April 11th 2023. Our sofa's latest tenative date to arrive was April 7th and we were told on that date that it was actually on its way to the store. We called April 10th because we heard nothing after that. We were told whoever told us that gave us inaccurate information, and that it's supposed to arrive "sometime this week" I am very very upset and I just want answers. Why is it taking so long and I'm not sure how much longer we will wait. I'm not sure what to do about this. Please, I need answers. After this experience, I will never buy another piece of furniture from this store ever again. We are coming up on 13 weeks.Slumberland, Inc.

Worst company ever! Didn't warranty the mattress. Only had the mattress for 5 months and all the stitching was coming out. They sent a sketchy company out 3 times. Never heard from the company again. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!Slumberland, Inc.

We apologize for the customer's experience. Our ************** did file a claim on their mattress. They were unable to verify the claim was valid as there were no tags or identifying information on the mattress which are required under the manufacturer's warranty. Worst customer service I have ever had. No issues at all with my local store. They were awesome. But when a piece broke that needed to be replaced I had to deal with customer service through a 1-800 number. They told me everything was covered and I would get a replacement soon. Then about a month later I never received anything. Called back and was told that it wasn’t covered. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Was told they weren’t available and would call me back within 3 days. They called back 2 weeks later when I wasn’t available. I called back and requested a supervisor. Was told again they weren’t available. I asked if they could submit my claim again. Said they would and I would hear something in 3 days. Never heard a thing again. Called back again and finally just gave up and paid $100 for a part that they should have replaced for free or at least told me that could have been a possibility. Absolutely worst service I have ever received.Slumberland, Inc.

We went to your Ofallon Mo store and purchased a recliner and love seat that we really liked, but was told the center piece to the love seat was in Wisconsin and ready to be shipped to Ofallon and could possibly be here by next weekend when we come to pick everything up. Now its 3 weeks later and now we are told it may be mid june before the center piece arrives. Seems they will tell you lies to make a sale- but they sure wont let you have anything off the showroom floor to make the costumer happy. I think companys would better serve their customers than risk low reviews and lose sales, So I guess Im at the mercy of Slumberlands bad service until who know when my piece may arriveSlumberland, Inc.

Bought a dual recliner within few weeks was hard to close one side within 6 months it wouldnt close. Called company came and looked the frame is bent. Waiting 6-8 weeks for replacement parts. The other side is acting up now. Not happy spending so much money for something to break within months. If the frames are bent it means very poor craftsmanship or the delivery guys some how bent it bringing it in my house. Waiting to see if I can get a refund or other couch.Slumberland, Inc.

1 starWe purchased a sectional couch from Slumberland in Lakeville, MN in Oct. 2020 and it was delivered and set up in March of 2021, by Slumberland. We didn’t notice at the time that one of the chairs was entirely missing one of the adjustable legs which should have been installed by the manufacturer and noticed by the installer. In January of 2023, we took the sectional apart to move, and we noticed a large deep scratch in our hardwood floor. I contacted Slumberland’s Contact Center (spoke to Julie) to see if they would cover it since we bought the protection package and it hadn’t even been two years. She said that it was our fault we didn’t catch the defect in the first 30 days (Slumberland’s warranty) and the manufacturer only warranties the frame for the first year. The protection plan only covers material issues, nothing on the frame. Julie didn’t offer any consolation, just read a panned statement about the manufacture’s warranty. Now our couch has two bad legs and we have a damaged hardwood floor. Slumberland has bad business practices, bad customer service and poor-quality installers and products. We’ll never purchase anything from them again and will be sure to let other people know about this.Review fromJanelle L

I purchased bar stools at Slumberland, and all 8 of the seat cushions split down the middle. I called the store to see if I could purchase parts to replace the cushions, I started the process one year ago and have not seen the parts yet. I have spent about 15-20 hours on the phone with their customer service department and they indicate they cannot help me because they have changed the vendor, they use to manage their repair and part services. Due to this change they also do not have record of the amount paid, so I cannot be reimbursed until I can produce a receipt from a year ago. I am beyond frustrated! I unfortunately will no longer be patronizing Slumberland!Slumberland, Inc.

Claim #****** for ******* reclining electric loveseat. On August 2, 2022, one seat on our loveseat quit working. We had purchased the extended warranty. A technician came to our house within a few days and told ** he would order a part and it would be delivered to our house. It took until August 31 for Protectall (extended warranty manager) to order the part and it arrived at our home on September 29. A technician came back to install the part but the chair still didn't work. He determined another part was needed and it would be ordered. We received a note from Protectall that a replacement part had been ordered and it would take 1-6 weeks to receive the part. On December 6, I sent a note to Protectall for an update as it had been longer than 6 weeks. They did not reply to me. On December 15, I sent another note and am waiting for a reply. Lazyboy is junk and the extended warranty Slumberland offers is bogus. We spent $369 for that extended warranty and we have been sitting on a broken loveseat since August 2. I will never buy from Slumberland again.Slumberland, Inc.

So Disappointed in Slumberland Furniture. Craig and I purchased a loveseat from Slumberland Furniture. Craig purchased the extended warranty. In Oct, our loveseat started smoking. Craig called Slumberland and scheduled a repair person to come out. The frame was also missing bolts to hold it together. On October 17, the repair person came out. The repair person said the motor burnt out and took pictures of the loveseat sitting at an angle. The repair person said he had one more stop and would return to the office and order parts if available. We never heard another word. Today out of frustration, Craig called Slumberland Furniture and was given a number for warranty issues. Craig politely talked to the woman who answered the phone, who just tried to appease him. I asked him for the phone. I asked to speak to Manager Jeremiah, who put me on hold several times, explaining he was checking on the status.
To summarize, I was informed Slumberland Furniture does not stand behind the faulty framework. He said the repair person came to our home on Oct. 25th, which was incorrect. The repair person came on the 17th, and the order for new parts was ordered yesterday, Nov 3rd. I was informed it is in the time
the frame of the Warranty Policy.
In the meantime, we are sitting on a broken loveseat. I am, to say the least, SO disappointed in the way Slumberland Furniture handled this situation. I will never purchase from ANY Slumberland Furniture.

Orderd a sofa last Feb 2022. Received sofa end of August 2022. It was wrong sofa! Contacted store to pick they said use it until new one comes in. Told them it wasn't comfortable for me (I'm 4'10"& feet don't touch floor). At 1st they wanted to CHARGE me $150.00 to pick up their error!. So finally picked up. THEN received a bill for **** called again asked if they had issued a credit. Was told that the right sofa was same price so what was the issue?! The issue is I don't have a sofa and they can't te me when right one will get here! Had to call credit card to dispute it. So to date (10/12/22) I have no sofa and no idea when new one is coming!.
