started out with a salesman named *********He seemed ;ile a nice guy to work with before paying for the windows. after payment, tryed calling him for days and no answer. That was ***** first lie,he said we could call him anytime. he also lied about the rotted wood getting replaced, instead besides for one spot they just coved it up. he orded the wrong windows feild tech had to change it. He guaranted that he would be on site for the install and guaranted a phone asking how we like the windows and how everthing is working. After 40 years of owning a house i have never been lied to so much. After install they was a handfull of things that needed to be done, window trim not sealed,hammer dents,shutters and installed right,wrong colored parts. Once again tryed calling the service **** for days and after 5 phone calls and no returns i called corporate and not to long the service **** called me back.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

New windows by Renewal by Andersen in June 2022. Found the installation cracked a board of my my siding at the corner of the window. I called the warranty number and have been shuffled back and forth from person to person for over 2 months. Nobody returns phone calls or follows up on a complaint. Ready for a lawyer to step in with this company. Obviously being stonewalled because they dont feel the need to fix my house where they broke it. Will not recommend them to anyone ever. Funny how they are all about getting a good review until they need to make things rightRenewal by Andersen, LLC

We initially ordered 3 bay window replacements in September 2021. After 6 months, the windows came in and the work done. Within 2 weeks, a crack appeared in the frame of the center window; a worker came out, said the window was defective, and would have to be replaced. We were told since the manufacturer already had the measurements, it would not take as long. It has now been almost 6 months, and despite numerous phone calls with **************** ("a problem with the manufacturer; we'll get back to you within 72 hrs") we are never contacted. We were supposed to have stucco work done on the house, but are unable to proceed with this until the window work is done. This is very frustrating, and unprofessional to have such poor communication. We would like a status update in order to schedule other work. If there is no replacement to be had, we want a refund!Renewal by Andersen, LLC

A traveling salesman came to my house and convinced me I needed a new door and a new window. So, I went ahead with ordering the new door and window. The door was installed within a few months but they didn't complete the work as promised and it was agreed they would fix the door installation when the window was installed. After several months and two missed appointments due to scheduling issues by Anderson (which I had already taken a day off work for both scheduled appointments) they finally came out to install my window. Half-way through the installation (and with a hole in my wall where the window used to be) they told me the window was cracked and they would have to reschedule. At this point I was visibly upset, wanted some compensation for having to miss work now 3 days and was told yes compensation would be provided. I have heard nothing about this and now 3 months later they were finally going to install my window (which has been patched up with tape ever since). At the end of my window I received a call that they had an issue with the morning installation thus wouldn't be able to make it to my house. So, now this is 4 days where I have blocked off time from my work schedule and still I have a hole in my wall patched up with tape.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

Purchasing windows by RBA was the worst decision I have made. The install was completely unprofessional. The install team left my house a mess. Right away not all of the windows closed properly. Service call #1- The service technician agreed that some windows were misaligned and I had one broken clasp. He didn't have matching hardware, so replaced with what he had. Service call #2 replaced the clasp with the correct color, but insisted that all of the windows were properly aligned. What could I do? Now... it is our first winter. We begin having frost and ice build-up on all six second story window inserts. Service call #3 brought Chase to my house. He attempted to service the windows, but ran out of material and needed to reschedule. Between Service call #3 and #4 I continue to have the ice and frost build up between the screen and window. I contact Nikki, from customer service, and let her know that when Chase returns he needs to have another game plan. She assures me that he will come prepared to tackle the issue. Service call #4, Chase arrives. I confirm with him that he was made aware that the issue was persisting. He claims to not have gotten the message that the previous service he performed on half of my second story windows was ineffective. So I call Nikki and verify that he received the work order. She assures me he had. Chase calls his service lead who informs him (according to Chase) that there is nothing more he can do to the windows. Needless to say, I am beyond frustrated. I have now taken 4 days off of work for these service calls. CHASE LEAVES. He attempted no repairs on my windows and completely wasted my time. Service call #5, RBA sends 4 men to my house. Including Chase. I felt intimidated and uncomfortable. Issues not resolved. Technicians admit issues. However their higher ups claim windows function fine. Service call #6- parts are replaced, but not effective. Now it is 8/22/22 and I wait to schedule Service call #7 because liners have poppedRenewal by Andersen, LLC

THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! We used Anderson Renewal 2 years ago for another house and had a great experience. This time we ordered windows on June 10th 2021 and understood it might take a little longer during Covid. Fast forward to today - ONE YEAR and 67 days later we have only part of our windows and doors installed. I have called and called and every time Courtney or Michelle **** Or Kristen ******** is going to find out what's going on and call me back...... I'm still waiting!!!
I feel terrible bc we recommended them to several friends after the 1st experience. Now we have paid for everything and continue to wait on the CRIMINALS to finish order or refund money.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

I received this "author less"response on Aug 22. Today is August 29th. No wonder you wouldn't sign your name! One week later and not a peep. Of course I'm still being billed for windows that we NEVER RECEIVED from over A YEAR ago!! There is no explanation and no excuse to take customers money without delivering product! I suppose that's why I don't get returned calls and responses as above. At this point I can only assume that RENEWAL BY ******** is no better than ORDINARY THIEVES! That's ok; if I have to spend every bit as much on lawyers as we have on non existent windows,so be it Windows ordered 6/22/21 Addition to order/ change 7/15 No excuseReview fromS. D.

I ordered my windows with Renewal by Anderson in the late part of 02/2022 (at that time, they had someone come out to measure my windows TWICE). Due to COVID, they stated that the earliest date of installation would be 06/06/2022. On 06/06/2022 they came to attempt to install the 4 windows that I had purchased with them. Two of the windows were put in and NOT completed (I STILL have foam sealing the holes they left b/c the frame of the window was broken upon delivery). The other two windows DID NOT FIT!!!! They had to put my old window back on, and sent someone 4 days later to take a THIRD measurement. At that time NO ONE attempted to get back with me regarding another installation date. After calling MULTIPLE numbers, and leaving MULTIPLE emails over the course of 2 weeks, I was able to reach "Cathy" (who was the lady that set up the 1st installation date). She stated that the next installation date available was 08/13/2022 (today)!!! At this point I just wanted them put in...however, here we are on the installation date (with no cloud in site-they stated they would cancel if it was raining) at the end of the 2 hour window gap they gave to come install the windows, and NO ONE is here. Though this company gave me a courtesy call yesterday of the arrival time being between 0830-1030 TODAY...NO ONE had arrived. I haven't even received a call to let me know that they are coming, or not. I am completely over this company....had I known, I would NEVER have purchased these windows!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! More than 6 mos since I ordered them...they haven't been installed, and the huge lack of communication is astounding!!!Renewal by Andersen, LLC

1 starJust heard another of their ads and almost choked. Their estimate was 3-part: one good for a year but large reductions for a decision now or in a month. No pressure, right! All estimates were easily and largely beat by other companies. I went with Okna windows which are better and cost me a quarter of Andersen's estimate.Review fromJackie H

So, I've voiced my opinion on a previous review but I will update. I'm still very unsatisfied with these windows, the whole long process, and all the long line of people we keep talking to. And to top it off, we keep getting hammered about a remaining balance. They are way more concerned with their money vs customer satisfaction. Wish I would have went somewhere else!Renewal by Andersen, LLC

This company, customer service, etc.. is HORRIBLE! They have been out to our house 8 times! TO show us the windows, to measure, install, service, reinstall, and now they have to come back out because they forget 3 of the replacement windows when they came out in June. They were supposed to come tomorrow but now they called and said that they are not coming. They replaced a window that didn’t need to be replaced. I called and they had to reschedule it for SEPTEMBER! My in-laws are pissed. This is the worst service in the world. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are horrible. The have rescheduled with us 3 times! I have wasted days of vacation to be off to help because my in laws are older so that can’t move furniture around. I also have spent $700 in boarding my dog so that he is not around when they are here fixing the windows. I am absolutely disgusted with this company. Hopefully when they come in September they don’t mess anything up. NEVER AGAIN WILL I HAVE THIS COMPANY DO ANYTHING FOR US. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!
