      I will start out by saying that most of the windows are well just ok. Our problem started when our main front window which is probably a 5 foot by 4 foot window not only arrived with 2 scratches on the outside paint but believe it or not a 6 inch **** between the glass at eye level in the top middle pane. My wife went back to the dealer and had to beg them to replace it. Seriously!!!. Today the replacement window arrived with lo and behold another **** between the glass(not as bad)but really this windows are not cheap in fact I think that particular window was like $3500.The other problem with this window was the paint. We order a custom color that they no longer make and wow, it has paint literally missing in the top corner and **** in 3 other places. Who paints these windows a 3rd grader? Needless to say Im very sad and disappointed that we went with Marvin. I would never use this company again. We had an ******** French door installed at our last house and it was great. I would use ********, if theres a next time or maybe *****. If someone from Marvin reads this comment I would love for you contact Cooks in ******** **. and ask for ************************* info and come to my house to look at this junk your company is manufacturing, but Im afraid that if Marvin replaces this one again that it will be worse and Ill be stuck with a crappier window. My wife and I were so excited to get new window but now we are sad to think we paid a ton of money for c*** Dont buy Marvin or you will feel very sad and disappointed like we currently are.

      I remodeled my entire house with Marvin windows. I have 4 that are about 5'x 5' in size. I touch the center of them and they are very unstable. All I have to do is push on the center and the window moves like it's flapping in the wind. Marvin had an inspector come out and do a deflection test. They tell me that it passed the deflection test, although it was on the lower end of acceptable range. They said that if I didn't want the glass to move I should have bought thicker glass. I spent thousands of dollars on each one of those windows. I am absolutely shocked that Marvin would sell a window that size that was so flimsy for so much money. Marvin will give me no satisfaction. They said maybe they would give me a discount if I wanted to replace them with a different model window. I think what I'm going to do is just go get a quote from Pella and change all the windows in my entire house. I know that doesn't affect Marvin at all but it would make me feel better. Oh I forgot to say that the quality of all the other windows I got is just horrible. I spent over ****** on Windows for this house and the windows are cheap cheap cheap. Stay away from Marvin. They do not back up their product, they will sell you cheaply designed windows and try to make you think they're top of the line. This is a horrible horrible horrible company

      BUYER BEWARE!! PLEASE READ: I am not one to write reviews. I am at my **** end and just don't know what else to do so here I am. I do read other's reviews and I appreciate the time that people take to do so. I really wish that I had done my homework on this company before my purchase. I wish that I had read these reviews. I relied on my installer's advice when I told him that I wanted the best. He said MARVIN was the best. I spent over $85K on windows and doors for three homes in South *******. I placed the order in February of ******************************** 8 months later on October 2021. The second order came November ********************* early December. Every single order had factory defects. Some of the things that were wrong were so wrong that I just cannot fathom how this product left the factory. My sense is that the people that are assembling the products are doing a terrible job and then their supervisors are not checking the product before it leaves the factory. It took over month to get someone from MARVIN to come out to the first house to take measurements. It is now February 2023 and nothing has been done. The other two homes also have issues that need to be addressed. I could go on and on about all of the issues. I have reached out to the local MARVIN people with little to no response. "we will follow upon your case and will update you as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience." is the answer that I get back. But, nothing is done. The lack of quality control, the lack of customer service, the lack of care is upsetting to say the least. I never imagined that this was going to be my experience with what I believed to be a high caliber of company. I am a busy man and I work hard for my money. I just don't have the time to chase this company around for their attention. It should not be this way. I am very disappointed and am considering hiring an attorney to help. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company

      Should be zero stars. We had "*****************", the rep for Marvin in ****** install new windows in *********** in August. It has been the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE we have ever dealt with in 3 states. Two of the 6 windows ordered had manufacturing defects between the glass. Inexcusable defect rate! AE didn't inspect before installation since the windows are covered with film and the windows were large/heavy. The subcontractors *************** are hit or miss. Unfortunately, our contracted installer was a big miss. The employee who runs the subcontractors is on his own trying to manage this dysfunctional business and we've been canceled at the last minute or had no-shows at least 20 times trying to get this job finished. It is now mid-Jan 2023 after being assured at a walk-through in October we would be a priority. Our exterior limestone and stucco was damaged during installation and it's not fixed. New glass instead of completely new windows was the latest solution they came up with. This was done this week, but they neglected to disclose we would see swirls of silicone. STAY AWAY, DO NOT BUY. Nice looking product that shouldn't have been defective. They don't work with reputable companies with the talent, manpower or consideration for their customers' homes and schedules. NEVER AGAIN.

      Thanks for your response, but here are the facts:1. Two out of six windows we ordered from Marvin the manufacturer had defects between the glass panes and had to be replaced. That's a high defect rate. 2. The installation company, Amazing Exteriors, hired an inept independent contractor who damaged our home and did a poor job on the installation.3. A 2nd contractor as well as the management team of AE had to finish our job themselves.4. We have been waiting for the damage to our outside limestone to be addressed since August 13th and it is now Feb 20th of 2023. This is unacceptable service from both the manufacturer and the install company, not just one or the other. We will never purchase any product from you again.

We took an opportunity to review the service file associated with your product and see that a Marvin service technician had recently observed during his onsite that your doors presented twisted jambs indicative of improper installation (specifically improper shimming). During that visit he was able to adjust the hinges to compensate for the installation issue but ideally you should still have your installation shimming adjusted by your installer or contractor of your choosing. Again, thank you for your review, and for choosing Marvin.

      Thats not what we were told by the technicians. They never mentioned anything about installation. We did however have an in competent builder.

      My experience with Marvin Windows customer care has been the worst customer service experience in my lifetime. We spent over $25,000 for our window package on our new home last year. Of course we have a warrenty issue that they will not resolve. This issue is over 6 months and still no action. Our customer care representative *********************** was absolutely zero help. Instead of treating like a valued customer he treated me like a criminal. We do not have any leverage to try and ****** positive outcome as we have already paid for our windows. Marvin customer care really does not care as they know we will not need to purchase another set of windows. I understand quality issues can occur. My frustration is not the window failure, it is how this organization is handling the issue. Their customer service is appalling. Their employees are either poorly trained, they do not care, or they are trained to string the customer along until they are so frustrated they give up. I really do not know but possibly all of the above. What I do know, is Marvin customer care really does not care.

      While the windows are pretty, the jams were bowed on nearly every window. What is worse is that one of our windows arrived damaged. Our contractor has been waiting for 4 months to get a replacement window. We spend over $35,000 on Marvin windows and have been on hold for 4 months waiting for them to respond. They can't give us a confirmation or delivery date.The service has been absolutely dismal. Our home can't be sided because we have no idea when we will receive a replacement. You would think that they would want to ensure their customers who spent a lot of money are happy.

      This company is criminal. I spent 60k on windows and doors from them and their products are garbage. Their customer service is even worse. I would highly advise anybody from buying their products. Look elsewhere or you will be very disappointed.

      Called customer support to escalate an issue with resolving a window configuration issue and the support staff were very rude and would intentionally instead hand up or transfer to disconnected number. When considering buying windows and door from ****** please consider that if something goes wrong their customer support will not be the easiest to deal with.

      I have a house full of Marvin windows and doors all installed in ****. If you think windows shouldn't last 17 years, then fine, otherwise go elsewhere for your windows. Recently a double hung window broke. The 'balance tube' broke which is the part in the sash that allows the window to be held up or fixed in a position up or down along the sash. This problem has occurred with several of my windows over the years. I called the Marvin service and gave them the serial number of the window and even details from the original **** window order, but they were unable to figure out what part was needed because they couldn't identify 'windows that old'. I was told I would have to hire a service tech to come out - and that there is only one service tech in the state of MD I could use. I propped my window closed with a lacrosse stick and waited 4 weeks for the tech. I had to pay $225 for him to come to figure out what part I needed. I received a quote about a week later for parts for about 12 Windows - not just the broken one, with no information as to what parts were for which windows. The quote was for over $1000 in repairs - with 60% of the charges being labor. There is no credit for the prior $225 evaluation fee. This is a company with one service tech in the whole state of MD, that can not identify its own products, that required me to hire their tech to come out just to figure out what part I have to buy from them to fix my window and then I have to wait another 4-6 weeks for that part - and I can't even discern what part I need because he 'examined' several undefined windows and didn't specify which parts oare for which window. Go with a more reliable, locally source able company and one that doesn't require you to hire a subcontracted tech just to find out what product they sold you. I still don't know what part I need, am out $225 and will have wait another 4-6 weeks once I even figure that out and order it. Absurd and not standing behind its products.
