      Since Mohela took over the Federal Student loans. I have not been able to reach anybody. I had to deal the number several times before I actually got the recording. The hold time for a representative is 1 hour or more and that is not professional. They lied about easy access to reach a representative and that all those that are on the forgiveness program would have nothing to worry about -Lies-. This company is bogus and only worried about its bottom line and making sure they profit from the loans and not worried about the people who are struggling daily, unemployed and still trying to make ends meet. Forgiven the loans will not damage the economy, when actually canceling the debt will help the economy. People will have more money to spend and invest in buying homes. The customer service for the company is horrible.. Nobody should wait more than 20 minutes on a line to speak to a representative. This right here should be enough to dismiss the loans. They are trying to catch people slipping and stating that they never called. * ***********

      I wish I could give them a zero. I filed for loan consolidation in July 2022. It was transferred over to Mohela August 19th of 2022. I was not aware until I looked at my FED Loan account and the balance said Zero. I never heard anything from either company. I called FED Loan and they said it was transferred and gave me the number to call Mohela. I have been trying periodically since September to talk to someone there and finally today 10/13/22 get someone on the line after waiting for 3 hours. Not everyone has time to wait for 3 hours. This is the reason it has taken almost a month to get in touch with someone. Then their line was breaking up and I could barely hear what was being said and then I finally get to my question what is going on with my account it is stating that my balance is 0? The answer was perhaps it does not yet reflect a transfer that was completed on 8/19/22. It took putting me on hold 3 times to get that answer. Seriously? I can see now that this company is going to be worse than the previous loan companies used by FASFA. I asked how long will it take for the system to reflect my loan she did not know. So I am left with still no answers. This has got to be the worse ever. I hope I can get student loan forgiveness.

      I am convinced no one actually works here. I have been trying to speak with customer service for over a month, and have only gotten through to a human being once, and that was after waiting on hold for 1hr 45 min. It is impossible to get a simple question answered, which is frustrating when the deadline for loan forgiveness is in less than 3 weeks. I would give anything to have my loans back with my former provider!

      Awful. Can't believe they are even worse than FedLoan. Absolutely impossible to get anyone on the phone. Online support is woefully insufficient for PSLF/PSLF waiver specific questions.

      Mohela lied to me about getting my student loan forgiven. During this past summer I spoke with several people who said that my loans would most definitely be forgiven. They lied. You cant reach them by phone anymore. I spent 2 hours on hold and tried finding an email address for them. Their website has an email address that doesnt work. My loans got transferred to them for the sole purpose of the **** since I have been teaching for 25 years and have made over 120 payments on my loans. The letter says that I now have to make an additional 120 payments in order to qualify for this loan forgiveness program. Due to my age and years of teaching I will probably be too old to work to pay this off. But my frustration is mostly about being lied to and deceived into thinking they cared about customers service.

      This company is horrible! **************** is non-existent! You can't get a hold of anyone at all. I've been trying to for two weeks now! Over a two hour hold and no one ever answers the call!! They don't respond you can't get any service!

      My original student loan was with *******. I have been paying monthly on my loan for 15 years. I received a letter stating that I qualified for loan forgiveness. It told me the steps to follow. After following the directions for loan forgiveness, my loan was transferred to MOHELA. I received a letter from MOHELA stating that my loan did not qualify because I had only made two payments (payments made during the bank transitional period) and not 120. It listed a number to call. I called them and got a recording that the wait time was 77 minutes. I held for 2 hours! I finally hung up. I called the next day and held for over an hour after which time I went online to file with ombudsman. I would have liked to talk with with someone at MOHELA to discuss steps needed for them to obtain my payment history from *******. Sadly, no one cared to answer my calls.

      Per the main requirements, I am eligible for student loan forgiveness. HOWEVER, I had to consolidate my loan to a federal loan, which I did. It is now with MOHELA, and the immediately put it into forbearance without consent. However, due to that transaction, the company is stating that I am not eligible for the ***** Additionally, when I call, the automated system says they can't find my loan, which is not accurate since I have a printed letter from them stating that they have my consolidated loan WITH an account number.Lastly, I have been on hold now for just about three hours trying to get through to someone because when my call was answered an hour and a half ago, the woman claimed she couldn't hear me. I don't believe it. Now I'm on hold again and have been.

      Feels like a SCAM! I would give 0 stars if possible, this new loan servicer definitely gives me worries of being a scam. I've currently been on hold for 1 hr 30 minutes still waiting to speaking with a representative regarding some questions I have about my student loans. Their customer service is not the best and I'm writing this review as my first impression *** experience with this company.

      I've sent 3 messages over two months to MOHELA with no response, their hold times on the phone is typically 2 hours plus. It wasn't my choice that my loans got transferred to MOHELA, I wasn't my old loan servicer back.
