My husband and I decided to attend a meeting in June of 2022 that could get us out of our timeshare that we were paying over $700 a month in maintenance. At first we thought it might be a scam but after talking to the team of representatives we decided to take the plunge . We told them that we need to postpone the closure til November of 2022. They listened and started the process in November, we received our exit letter from the timeshare in January of 2023. We always were in contact with our representatives the process was done earlier than we expected. We are now maintenance free. We thank Resort Legal for their work in freeing us and our children from an expensive maintenance that always continued to increase. Sometimes you just have to trust your gut which we did and are happy that we did that. It wasn’t cheep but it was worth being debt free. Thank you everyone at Resort Legal that made us timeshare maintenance free.Resort Legal Service, LLC

What a blessing. I thank god for no longer owning that timeshare and being forced to pay that god awful maintenance fee. I remember when I bought my timeshare and had great experiences while my fee was only $350 in the last 3 years it went to over $1200. How are these timeshares still legal? I received a call to attend an owners meeting with resort legal at a hotel in July 2022. I almost decided not to go because I thought it would be one of those high pressure sales meetings. My husband passed in May 2021 and I did not want to deal with any of this timeshare stuff however I decided to go and I was so relieved that I was able to get out of my timeshare. I would recommend this company 100% they did everything I asked. I received my exit documents and my release forms within 5 months. I have absolutely NO complaints.Resort Legal Service, LLC

We appreciate you for leaving ** this review. The process does take some time in cases, but thank you for doing your part too. We could not have done it without your help. We are so glad to have helped you and it was our pleasure. Now, even though we were happy to have you as a client, we hope to not have to have you as a client again. In other words, stay timeshare free :) Thanks again for this review!Review fromAlexander S

Unfortunately, we got stuck into a bunch of useless properties because we were told they would allow me to book multiple bedrooms, any place, any time. The resorts always with their false promises. Every time we went on vacation we kept falling for the timeshare sales spiel. Shame on **! At 78 so many we needed to get out of. Needed to dump all time shares, can't leave my son with over $7K/year in maintenance. The resort told us there is no way we could give them back even though all the sales people promised us. Just keep paying the maintenance even after we told them our children cannot afford them. They even tried to sell us more. We went to multiple exit meetings that tried to pressure us to pay to sell it but felt like they all were scams. We signed a contract with resort legal service on 8/3/2022. The consultants we met with that night gave us a great understanding and connected all the dots for **. The information was so vital to any timeshare owner. Luckily we were able to eliminate 4 different point deeds. We received the signed release from our timeshares Jan 2023 earlier than expected. No more maintenance. Whenever we called or emailed we received a sufficient response within 48hrs. We were completely satisfied. I had contact with different departments in the company who were very helpful. Respectfully, we did our research and have read the negative comments posted and I did not encounter any of those. Having in customer ********************** for over 27 years I realized that you can not satisfy 100% of the people every time all of the time. Especially the guests we saw that did not qualify. Yes of course, we were skeptical at first since we felt we were screwed multiple times by the resorts. Im glad we trusted our gut and went with this very informative group. What a weight off of our family!Resort Legal Service, LLC

WOW! Thank you for such a thought out and nicely worded review. We have heard plenty of stories similar to yours regarding the resorts unfortunately, so thank you for trusting us to help your family. It is our absolute pleasure to help you all close that chapter. Now you and your son can look forward to being timeshare free!!!Review fromPaul S

When I was invited to this meeting I was told this would be to get out of the contract with my timeshare. After the meeting my wife and I were then told that this was something that was supposed to be done yrs ago by the timeshare company but now we HAD to settle this. So we decided to think about it. We were given 3 days to decide but when i called I was told I could email a decision but was then called and told NO I had to do it in writing. This was just the beginning of a mess. I then mailed what info i could get and sent it off by registered mail. After not hearing from them about a month I then contacted them and they denied they had any paperwork. So I called the local USPS and found they had indeed signed off for paperwork weeks earlier at their UPS mailbox. Since then I have talked to 4 different ppl including their Mgr, who told me all he needed was my membership logon and he would email for anything else. and still I was told yesterday 4 months later that now I still have to call the County and get this paperwork on my own. This feels like the same thing that we were told this company was helping us out of..I would not recommend using this service and if i could get out of the contract i would.Resort Legal Service, LLC

We appreciate your review and we have investigated your claims. We have spoken to you on the phone 7 times with the most recent being a week ago, at which time you were given the necessary contact information to obtain a copy of your deed from the resort which is needed to complete your exit. We did receive the documents you sent, however they were incomplete, which you were informed of. We will reach out to you again today to help with the process. It should be noted that we haven’t collected payment for our services and we would be happy to terminate the contract if that is your desire. We understand your frustrations with the process, however the steps to complete your exit are complex and require some cooperation on your behalf. We look forward to speaking with you.Review fromChuck B

We signed up with this company in August 2022 and they had us out of our timeshare in less than six months. They kept us informed every step of the way and were nothing but courteous and professional. Would recommend them to anyone looking to get out from under their timeshare.Resort Legal Service, LLC

Attended a meeting and paid them compensation to exit our time share in August 2022. They have done nothing. They wants us to transfer our ownership, which we won't do. We are asking for a complete refund. We will also consider other avenues to collect our money. ***Resort Legal Service, LLC

Client states that we have done nothing, however they actually signed documents for us to hold off on doing any of the work until they release said "hold." These documents were signed at the same time of contract signing, so not entirely sure why the client is concerned. We ask that the client either replies to the email we sent them or call us back at the office.M. W.

Information below is based on a meeting with Resort Legal Service in ***********, ********* August 25, 2022.1. The Allegation Resort Legal Service, a Time ******************* stated time share owners are required to pay maintenance fees into perpetuity and unable to exist their respective time share obligations without intervention from a Time ******************* This would be especially true if the time share was purchased in the **************** or **********.The Facts We are time share owners with the ******************** and have a time share in ******* and **********. The ******************** has time share exit representatives on staff to assistance owners when they want to exit their timeshare obligation. In our case because our time shares are paid in full, there would be no charge to exit our time shares and would receive money back closing out the process.Summary Resort Legal Service intervention was not needed. Information provided was not accurate, more deceptive than transparent. Marriott has a time share exit department.2. The Allegation Resort Legal Service stated we did not return information to them within 30 days as required in the contract that we signed. The Facts September 13, ****************************************** their Welcome To Resort Legal Service Transmittal Page. We returned the items in their envelope and paid additional postage to send the information. We have a receipt from our post office confirming this transaction. We also sent by registered mail, a letter to *** Human December 15, 2022 and one to ***************** January 4, 2023. There as no answer to the letter sent to *** Human. The letter to ***************** was returned to us as unknown. The only document we did not return is what they call a Transfer Hold Document. By returning this document or releasing our ownership to Resort Legal Service would make them actual owners. We did not send this document to them because of our suspicions of Resort Legal Service being a front for a scam enterprise.Summary We complied with the request made by Resort Legal Service.3. The Allegation ************, Director of Operations for Resort Legal Service stated the company has ****** clients. The Facts The Better Business Bureau records show Resort Legal started offering time share exit services in 2022. Is it possible for Resort Legal Service to have ****** clients in 8 months?Summary It seems unlikely that Resort Legal Service would have ****** clients in 8 months of offering time exit services since June 2022. Regal Legal Service has no direct business telephone number. Their number is ************. This number was never answered during the time I called from August 25, 2022 until November 28, 2022.4. The Allegation Resort Legal stated they are known, having affiliation with travel and/or consumer companies that provide services to consumers. The Facts **************** is a company Resort Legal Service states is contracting with ********************** to provide travel services to consumers. ********************** has heard of Kosi Travel but states they are a scam organization. The Reservation Subscription Services Agreement shows ****************s address is ***************************************************** on the first page which is actually a *** Store and same address for Resort Legal Service. On the next page of the agreement it shows ****************s address is ********************************************************************* telephone number ************. This company does not exist at this location. Also, Regal Legal Service states they are accredited by a *********************** (mentioned in the presentation) as an advocacy organization. This is totally false, a sham created to make Regal Legal Service appear legitimate. Finally, the **************** Reservation Subscription Service Agreement appears to be a document indicating a purchase we have paid for, wanted and requested. This is totally false. Another example showing deception along with inconsistent wording contained it the agreement.Summary ********************** is not contracting with **************** a company sited in the contract we signed with Regal Legal Service. The *********************** does not exist. Both of these matters are complete fabrication created by Resort Legal Service.Closing Remarks Resort Legal Service, ******************, and **************************** share the same employees pool for these companies. Two in ******** and one, ********. Employees that I met, sent a letter to, received e-mail from or copied on e-mail I received are as follows:1. ***************************** Consultant Resort Legal Service 2. ******************************* Director, Resort Legal Service 3. *** Human Director of Operations Regal Legal Service and ****** ******************* 4. ***************************** Principal Contact for Resort Legal Service and Counsel for ****** *******************.5. *********************** no title ****** ******************* 6. ***************** Chief Operating ******** ****** ******************* 7. ************************* Vice ********** **************************** Resort Legal Service address *************************************************. The contract we signed was filled with false information, omission of facts and inaccuracies, a total sham. These values alone make the contract null and void.It is our hope we can be made whole totaling $15, 845. Once they draw you in and get your money they do not communicate, no follow up, no legal action, no form to keep, no information given. Wanted to use what we paid for soon and nothing to use. I believe it is a scam.Resort Legal Service, LLC
Date: 02/07/2023
We are a bit confused as to this review. Client writes that we do not communicate, have no follow up or no information given, but the clients signed to place the entire process on hold indefinitely. This means that at the time of signing, the clients understood that we could not start any work on the process until they gave us permission to do so. We have not received a call into the office regarding their concerns and emailed the clients a reminder stating that we need their permission to do exactly what their review states they want us to do. However, we have yet to receive a response from the client as of today. We will be more than happy to begin the work for the client, as soon as they give us the permission to do so and remove the hold that was signed for.K. B.

Interestingly enough I had left a message for Resort Legal in the afternoon 2/7. I wanted communication from the company and after several requests the president responded by call last fall explains “no need to communicate until we decide to do something.” “Many people and no time to call everyone.” Very friendly up until given the money then nothing.Review fromErick R.

Well first off the 5 star reviews are 100% fake. If I could leave no stars I would. They are the total opposite of very helpful. They are extremely intimidating especially to the elderly and people that speak to language. They tried to intimidate by threatening that the timeshare will go after your family when this will never be the case, and if you try calling them up prepare to be disrespected in every way possible if you question any part of them theyll get nasty with you or just straight up hang up on. I would advise never do any business with this law firm at all.Resort Legal Service, LLC

We would like to address a couple of the statements in this review. First and foremost, even though we do have lawyers on staff, and hire outside lawyers when needed for any particular contract we are working on, we are not a law firm nor do we claim to be. Secondly, none of the reviews we attain are faked and the Better Business Bureau has a thorough vetting process to make sure reviews are legitimate. Although we do not like reading that your experience with our staff was unpleasant, we take pride in treating every single one of our guests with respect. We also know that sometimes the truth is not pretty, but we make sure to educate strictly with facts. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
