These guys were great,. Had a problem with a belt and no way were getting home (about 25 miles) since it was a weekend the part they needed wouldn’t be available to at least Monday. **** the manager and ****? The service manager arranged a rental car, gave us ride to rental place, arranged a lower fee for the car rental.NEXT DAY got a call that our car was ready, part came in on am delivery, car was ready at 8:30 am that day. They were great!! They had earned our business from that day forward.

I would not give them a single star. I hit something on the highway (something small enough that I didnt see it) and it caused my two drivers side tires to go flat. I had the car towed to Dobbs since I had bought the tires there. I left it and in a short time they called to tell me that not only werent my tires covered under my road hazard warranty but that whatever I hit dented my strut and it was leaking all over. I called the tow truck driver and verified with him that there was no leaking fluid on his truck after he removed my car. I didnt believe them about the struts (which were going to cost me $1,200) so I paid $100 to have the car towed to ************ down the road. It ended up there was nothing wrong with the struts and I just needed the two tires (which were a lot less than I was quoted at Dobbs) and an alignment. That is outright fraud but the better business bureau says unless I paid Dobbs and actually got ripped off I cannot lodge a complaint so it doesnt happen to anyone else so I am complaining here.

Ok, Dobbs tire center *****. I bought tires from them earlier this year. First problem, had a tire slowly leaking down in about a week and a half. Stopped by to see if they could look at it on my way home from work. Bunch of guys standing around not working on anything, they told me I need to leave the car there. I couldn't, so I went home and then I noticed the valve core bent. They installed a bent core. So I just changed the core myself and aired the tire, kept an eye on it. I finally looked at it at home and I think I found the problem. They installed the tire and left dirt on the bead. Terrible workmanship! I cleaned the entire bead and so far no tiny leaks like I seen before cleaning. Another problem I had with them, I rotated my tires, the car started to pull left. Had ford check alignment, it was good. They suspected a bad tire. Took it back to Dobbs, they told me it was a radial pull. Radial pull? That means a tire is bigger or smaller in diameter. They told me the tire manufacturer wouldn't warranty it. I think that would be a defective tire. They rotate the tires back and did a balance check. See the other picture, these rims are stick on weights. They did a balance and look at the placement. If you do a balance and the machine tells you to put a weight 180 out from the one on there, you need to remove all weights and check again. Again poor workmanship. I will never go there again and unfortunately I got road hazzard with them. I won't have them touch my vehicles again!
I would advise never have them put tires on you vehicles or even work on them.
Got a response from ****** **** company, yes the tire that was radial pull was under warranty.
      Again, stay away from Dobbs!

I purchased a new battery from Dobbs at ***************** in 1/2022. Last week I had to jump it and bring it back because it would not start the car. I asked them to let me know what the issue was before any work was performed. Instead, the replaced the battery was going to charge me for a new one and also informed me that my alternator was bad. I informed them to put the original battery back and I would have this work performed by another local mechanic/company who only works on Hondas. They attempted to charge me for the installation and replacement. I argued and the charge was drastically reduced. The other mechanic indicated that there was nothing wrong with my battery, had left lights on too long. ****** took care of it and the alternator was in good working order. I do not trust Dobbs, they are more concern with the adding additional, useless repairs for the business and does not perform warranted customer service.

I have been a long time customer of the Brentwood Promenade store. They really have a good team! I recently needed to get our son and daughter in laws cars inspected and tuned up for winter. Andrew answered the phone and got things rolling along with Brad. Of course Mike (store mg) was greatly involved, especially with sourcing some parts and finding safety issues that needed to be fixed. It's also noted that Mike's contact information is on the bottom of the bill should you have any complaints. *** *

I purchased a batter 8 25 2018 from Dobbs and my batter went out October23. I called my road side assistance and was able to get my car jumped and drove back home. The following day, I had my car jumped again and drove to Dobbs. I informed them that my battery was still under warranty. I was informed that Dobbs had new procedures and they could only sale me a battery at half price., I ended up having my sister pay for the battery but if it was still under warranty why would they not honor the warranty.

Be aware!I recently took my vehicle in for an oil change at Dobbs on Olive. They called me to let me know it was ready for pickup.I'm not sure if it was an employee or manager but they told me that both of my rear shocks were "wasted" and needed to be replaced and then also told me that my drivers side strut was leaking and needed to be replaced. Both items would be around $1200. I have a different shop that does all my auto repairs and I only buy my tires and oil changes from Dobbs Tire and Auto.I took off work to have my shop do the repairs. When they put it up on the Rack, I was told there was nothing wrong with the rear shocks. Then they showed me that someone literally wiped grease on the outside of the driver side strut - and that it was fine.... They cleaned it off and it is still clean. Hmmmmmmm......???? It is amazing that this type of this has no oversight. No regulations...... I just wanted to warn others about this - this is the first time this has happened to me, but I have had a few friends who have told me they had the same type of experience with this company. This particular location was Olivette - be aware

Was looking for a good trusty repair shop and tried the Dobbs in Yorkshire Plaza at ****** and ******* ******* **** in *******. Got an oil change and everything seemed fine but then they tried to sell me an additional service. When I declined they had 2 other employees come and confront me about declining additional services. They were trying to be intimidating I guess. I politely declined and then the last guy, called be a liar. Really !!! It was pathetic, shocking, and kind of funny looking back on it. I couldn't wait to get me and my car out of there. I don't know where I am going to take my car for its next service but I know where I am not going to take it. I would highly recommend this place to someone I really don't like.

I had my horrible experience at the ***********************************. Location. I paid for a new ball joint on my front drivers side. Over $400.00 I spent. Was told it is "fixed for life" Within weeks it was squeaking and popping. I took it back and they said it sounds like a rotten ball joint. So they replaced it. Over 12k miles later it is popping again. I took it back and they said I need the same part again it will be over $500.00 this time. I said no you have replaced it twice now and it is fixed for life. They said no it is 12 months or 12k miles and you are over 12k miles. I said well this is one heck of a trick if you are knowingly putting bad parts on my truck, telling me fixed for life only to tell me I am over on mileage and I have to pay over $100.00 more that the first time they fixed it to get the same exact part replaced again. Scam & apparently nothing is fixed for life.
