      This company is criminal. They are charging people several thousands of dollars per month with no evidence of that amount of electricity and water being used. They threaten and intimidate anyone that questions them. They need to be investigated or audited and exposed for their theft and abuse of power over people. To anyone considering moving to an area serviced by Liberty: turn around and get far away from these terrible criminals.

      Rude customer service people, over 30 minutes on hold to report a power outage ( I got yelled at for walking the representative up so she could look our address and report the outage), and constantly delayed and inaccurate billing with rude representatives on the phone when you ask why.This is terrible and we have no choice on electric companies.

      Hate this business!! Bills are high, late or dont get a bill for three or four months, then its outrageous to pay it. Their customers service sucks! They shouldnt be in business

      I have unresolved billing issues for 6months, I have the money and have made multiple attempts to pay and NO ONE I speak with on the phone can/will help. They submit a ticket and I receive no call back, everyone I speak with does the same thing, I am unaware if it's a training issue or what. I have reached the point to where when I call I am rude and I HATE being that way, but I have reached my limit.

      Switched to a new billing system and said I was under billed and received a bill for $1014.11. When I called they said as long as I can pay my regular bill and a little extra I was not in danger of shut off as it was their mistake. I paid $200 extra each month for 3 months just to get a shut off notice. When I called I was told there was nothing they could do.

      The company has done work here and my plumbing failed. I had to hire a plumber to correct the problem. The water and sewer were backed up.

      In February ****, THREE bills were received in one day. First bill was to cancel a supposed billing error from December 2023. The second bill was drastically increase the original bill from December 2023. The third bill was for February **** AND included a past due amount for the increased bill from December 2023. The provided e-mail address on the enclosed letter would not accept e-mails. The provided phone number would not connect to a live person. The ******** account would not answers directly. The website account message has gone unanswered for over a week. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE to explain the increased billing and the short time to pay it.

      I had a credit placed on my account in March. A portion of it went towards my water. The rest was supposed to go toward my electric. I haven't paid my electric bill because the usage hasn't cost more than the credit for my account. Now I'm facing a shut-off. Why? Because after countless emails, countless phone calls, countless web contacts, and them telling me that they're going to apply the credit to my account, they still haven't done it. Nine months of them lying continually. All they have to do is apply their credit to my account. They won't do it, and now I'm facing shutting off. I can't make them do it. I don't have hundreds of dollars more to give them, but I don't even owe them. They've been charging me late fees based on every month that I didn't pay because they told me they credited my account, but they haven't credited it to my account. So I got a shut-off notice for hundreds of dollars, even though on my last bill I only owed $25. I paid it, I'm an elderly disabled woman who is homebound. There is nothing I can do. I don't have hundreds of dollars to give them that I don't owe them anyway and they won't credit me what they owe me, but they're threatening to cut my power off. They're putting my life and health at risk because they won't do what they're supposed to do and credit me what they owe me. I owe them nothing. They've done nothing but lie to me for 9 months. All they have to do is credit my account. Now I have two credits the total over $600 on my account and they won't credit me anything but they want to shut me off. Elderly. Disabled. Homebound. They don't care they're going to put my life and health at risk because they won't stop lying and simply credit my account. That's disgusting. I'm helpless and I'm going to be freezing in the winter because they won't credit my account. They know this. I've told them this. No one at that company cares. I have no choice but to file a formal complaint with the ************************* and to *** them.

      A sad an awful company! Have tried to contact and reach this company by phone for month of November. Both phone service and especially online service denies my account ( 3 years + customer ) even exist, but sends me bills and shut off notices. A total customer service debacle. Still till this day, 12/3/2023 the online service does not recognize my account number or on file phone number to enable me to pay my bill. Would leave 0 stars if possible.

      I took screenshots every day for my liberty electric service app that shows your kwh used from period August 10, thru Sept 10 which is when the bill period ends the kwh stays the same till they take the reading and it shows monthly average for last 12 months. So my kwh on September 10th for this period ended and my kwh was ****** and this months average shows ******. Then today their computer system did the remote reading September 24 and says my kwh is 548. Something is wrong here. I'm disabled and live on a strict budget. The same thing happened with the previous bill June 11 - July 11. Somebody needs to investigate this because I feel they are charging me for kwh I did not use and that is a scam. I afford an electric bill that goes up every month.
