      I have called and requested my account to be closed because I have moved from the address that required gas service. I have a credit of $217.00 on my account that needs to be reimbursed. I have been contacting the company since July 2023 and no one is getting back to me by phone or email.

      Hours on hold on the phone listening to the recording tell me Liberty is local, responsive, and they care. I just want to pay my bill.

      Liberty Utilities is running a Monopoly in my town! I know that my meter is not working correctly because of my high bills! My meter is well over 15 years old! They sent out a technician to look at it. The technician did NOTHING! I saw him with my own eyes! Liberty Utilities told me that they will NOT replace my old meter! This is not right! With how many high fees I pay on a monthly basis I should have the RIGHT to have my meter replaced!! Liberty utilities is running a SCAM which it ILLEGAL! They should be ashamed of them selves and should be put OUT of business! This site forced me to leave a star. I would not have even given them one star!

      In June I paid rent up front for 6 months. I never turned the power on, not the master switch, not the stove or refrigerator., NOTHING I received a bill for $91?????And you can not reach a human to find out why. September-Oct they added a turn on fee, I used very little electric and hardly any hot water and I was gone most of the time$250, same for Oct- Nov, $446. I found out there is a lawsuit against them which all these unexplained extra fees are probably ** paying THEIR debt. 2 years ago, they charged me for tree removal near the road..( I am a renter!!) They should be taken out of business.
