      never met a company whos rate is going to go up not inform there customers of the change. LET ALONE HAVE THE **** GO *****%. its ridiculous. if there was another way to get power. evergy would go bankrupt

      This is WORST energy company that I have been doing business with. They cannot keep power on consistently. There is NO reason to have issues every month.

      ase can you help me understand Evergy policy? Today, I had a man come to my door and demand payment for electric service. We had been on vacation and have not had a mail carrier delivering mail for a few weeks, so I did not receive a ****. (My account was less than 30 days overdue.)I have reported fraud to Evergy in the past, so I was not comfortable remitting payment to the stranger at the door who was claiming to represent Evergy. Also, I was not there. Communication was through my son.I immediately paid the amount due in the safest way possible, online. I asked my son to tell the Evergy collector the confirmation code for the payment. Thr Evergy employee would not listen, refused to note payment made and proceeded to disconnect power.From my phone calls to Evergy, it appears this is company policy.Sending strangers to homes to interact with residents, including children, is not safe. My younger minor daughter was also in the home at this time. Electricity can be life sustaining, so turning it off when payment is fully risks clients safety needlessly.Please can you help me understand this policy to help keep my family and others safe?At the moment, we have no electricity in the home even though we made payment prior to disconnection.

      I hate Evergy!! My power goes out a few times every couple months for reasons that are NEVER explained!! How is the power in my neighborhood going out this many times when there's no storm, no line down, etc? It is f****** BLAZING outside!! STOP turing off the GOT **** POWER!! Not to mention that food is WAY to expensive these days to be going bad because there are multiple unexplained power outages happening every couple months!! This s*** is ridiculous!! I pay my **** IN FULL and ON TIME each month, and that s*** be WAY TOO high, so I **** sure have a problem when I'm paying and my power is constantly going out!! Quit bullshitting your customers Evergy!! Provide the type of service we deserve!! Make the service match what the f*** y'all are charging, cause right now it doesn't and that's ****** up!!

      We had a power line to our house down to a tree limb and they were no help. They said it was up to us to hire a electrician. I would have gladly paid for them to fix. We are a month out and still trying to find someone to fix. We have children and a dog. Havent been able to use our backyard. What do we pay all this money for?
