      I was lied to day one, in the interview I was told I would easily get 60 hours a week and was a full time position, which it was not, had atleast one day off a week sometimes 2. If you are looking to start your hvac career or even get your system looked at or even replaced I would go somewhere else, save you from the headache that is this company

      This is not from a customer, it is from a disgruntled employee who was fired for bullying coworkers on the job and at the office. We have a zero tolerance for bully behavior. The hours complaint is due to no call/no show on multiple occurrences and got put at the bottom of the rotation for it.

      On about 6/29/24 had a service call scheduled for an ac not cooling. The tech (Lane) removed our WiFi thermostat and replaced with a basic T6 non-WiFi thermostat that I found on Amazon for around $80. They charged us $399 for the downgraded thermostat plus $125 service fee. If that’s not bad enough, this was not even what was wrong with the cooling system.
      I called another company who found that the unit was frozen after a simple visual inspection and fixed it.
      I’ve called multiple times to try to get some sort of compensation for an incorrect diagnosis or a refund and get my old WiFi thermostat back. Justin always answers my calls and is trying to get me some resolution but his superiors don’t seem to have time for me.
      I manage over a hundred rental units and currently have this company blacklisted due to the poor treatment. If I receive any kind of resolution I am happy to update my review.

      We were called out to solve a no cooling issue. The technician found a bad thermostat, which the NEST is known to be a problem thermostat. Informed the property manager of our findings and quoted the repair with a more reliable thermostat that we stock on our trucks because of their versatility and reliability. The quote was approved and the repair was performed onsite. System was checked and found to be functioning normally at that time with a 20 degree Delta T, indicating proper operation. The technician collected and moved on. Several days later the owner decided they didn't like the price and called to complain. Our Service manager was unavailable at that moment, but called back the number on file which went to his secretary and a message was given to call his number back. This process has been repeated multiple times since with the customer refusing to call our service manager's number on file as he is often in the field working with customers and technicians. Approved work was performed and charged appropriately, multiple attempts to contact the customer with provided information was made. This customer has been marked as do not service. the customer is still welcome to discuss with our service manager.

      Very professional company. Put in a new furnace, tankless hot water heater and A/C unit. It cost a lot but I should have replaced them years ago.

      Very professional in all areas: call-out operators, repair and install teams and sales. No hard selling or upselling.
      Repair/install guys answered all questions; even the stupid ones. Cust svc put us on a cancelation list and rescheduled our appt to earlier without us having to ask.
      Professional and friendly communication throughout entire process: text, calls, etc.

      Charged me just under $600 for a 20 minute visit to replace a capacitor, and that's including the $99 flat rate for diagnostics. Still waiting to hear back if that was a mistake or not

      We had trouble with air conditioning a few years ago and and called around and chose Summit They came out and fixed and now we have them come out twice a year to do maintenance We would recommend them

      They are not a trustworthy company. They tried to tell me my heat exchange on my heat pump was cracked & I needed a new system because the piece was not available. I called Whirlpool & this art was life time guarantee. & told Summit ******************************************* & they said it would be a $2000.00 job for the work. Needless to say I called another ************ heat exchange was not cracked & I didnt need a new system. Then Summit would not refund the remaining money on my service contract. I would not do business with them.

      We hear your frustration. Our technicians are trained to take safety very seriously because if we make a mistake with CO people can end up very sick or worse. We would much prefer erring on the side of caution and having an upset customer than not and having a worse situation. The furnace you have has a parts warranty, but the labor portion is a very extensive repair that takes a long time, Unfortunately, that leads still leads to a costly repair when necessitated. This is not a sales tactic, we were exercising caution.

      Summit Heating and Cooling has very friendly knowledgeable employees. Their prices are very competitive and service top notch. I told them we chose them to replace our old heating and cooling units and they were out at 8am the next morning and all finished before 5pm. Its very nice when someone backs up what they say theyre going to do on time and on budget.
