    I purchased my coverage from Lariat Automotive Group in July 2021 and of course with all the bad reviews I was leery, however reviews are only opinions mostly from people who seem to not even started a policy with them or recently cancelled one. But, I strongly feel they need to be given credit when due and as of August 2022 I finally needed them to come in clutch for me and did just that. The policy they sold me not only paid for my new transmission, but also paid for the 6 days of rental service which I then ONLY came out of pocket $209 ($100 deductible/taxes) they paid out $3987. I am blown away at how smooth my process was and the customer service department at ********************** was glad to walk me through each step when I called. Thank you and pleasure doing business with you all. Great teamwork there!

    Scummy
    Just bought my first car a few months ago and got their card in the
    mail. Or I should say I got a card in the mail. The name Lariat
    Automotive was nowhere on it. Gave them a call and they tell me about
    their coverage. First person I talked to was nice, but I said I had a
    budget to keep. Get transferred to the supervisor because I guess I
    wasn't saying yes fast enough. This guy, in one of the most monotone
    voices you've heard since Star Trek's Data, runs through all the numbers
    and all the things that can go wrong and how great of a deal it is,
    felt like he was just trying to get me to say 'yes' to make him stop,
    totally cutting me off from saying anything about my situation or really
    saying anything at all, and then when I finally cut him off and tell
    him that he's running through all these things I don't need, he makes
    fun of me for not keeping up with him. And then I call him on that, and
    he says I'm slow for not understanding that's not what he's doing.
    Either completely ignorant of what he's saying, or deliberately
    difficult. And I don't know which is worse. Maybe he was just having a
    bad day or is having life problems, but it was honestly embarrassing.
    I'd hate to have my mother, or any family member, speak with someone
    like this about anything important. Just really an awful experience with
    that supervisor. The clerk was great. But the supervisor was as scummy
    as they come.

    I called to cancel my policy after finding out I already have a policy through my dealership. I was placed on a 15 minute hold after trying to be convinced to keep my policy. I hung up and attempted to call back with no luck. Is canceling a policy not a simple fix? Why am I being placed on hold. It was more than easy to call someone and set up my warranty but to call & cancel I'm given the run arounds! Makes no sense

    **************, I apologize that your experience was as bad as you felt it was, but after further reviewing the phone calls with yourself and our customer service department, you spoke with the first representative for 4 minutes before she placed you on hold to get you cancelled out per your request, you show in our system you hung up on hold right at 5 minutes. After you disconnected the call you were called right back by our cancellation department where you received not only confirmation that your coverage was cancelled, but also that we refunded your account in full, as advised you would have the full refund returned within 3-5 business days. Also looking at the length of your sales call was 25 minutes and no hold time so I'm not sure where you held for 15 minutes, but either way your account is now closed. I hope that makes sense and if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to give us a call. Thank you.
