I made my Dec 28 payment on Nov 30 and Dec 1 in amounts totalling 441.05$ and have even paid additional since, and they're refusing to apply this payment towards my Dec 28 payment because they took over my ****** personal loan and ****** said I was good for December, and this new company SST is saying they applied to principal only, but that is false. ****** took interest out of those payments.
I already paid my Dec 28 payment, and I don't have a spare 441.05$ to spend.
It's illegal to demand double payment for a payment they've already received for the month and I've more than satisfied that loan payment of 441.05$ that we agreed on.
I used to work for a bank and I know what they're attempting to do is entirely wrong.Business Response

I contacted SST at ************ on multiple occasions beginning in August of 2023 regarding this account that was opened without my knowledge and a debt of $286 account number 41453747 reference number 18184218. My last conversation on 12/20/23 and spoke with two different agents one named ****** ********* and another named ***** ****** I was advised that this debt had not been given to any collection agency so I can not settle the debt and it will remain on my report. A company named ******** ******** ************* *** mailed me a bill for the same balance stating they are the debt collectors. At this point, this debt has not been validated or verified in over 8 months and I have not even been able to settle this small debt that is impacting this credit report tremendously. I would like this removed from my credit report, although I have no knowledge of this debt I would like to resolve it under the FCRA guidelines so my credit is no longer impacted. The company has failed to give a resolution.Business Response

I originally got a personal loan with ****** by ******* ***** to consolidate my debt and save on interest payments. ******* ***** would allow me to make payments, which would reduce the amount of my total montly auto payment. By doing this, I would save on the total interest paid throughout the life of the loan. Having the auto-payment allowed me to receive a 0.25% reduction in interest rate as well.
Recently my loan got transferred to *** ******** *** ******** ************). They state that they additional payments will not cancel or replace the scheduled auto payment. They are changing the terms of my loan and should not be allowed to do so.
If I remove the auto payment they will remove the 0.25% for the auto pay, therefor paying more interest.
If I make monthly payments, I will end up paying more in interest throughout the life fo the loan.
If I continue to make weekly payments, I would also have to make the additional monthly payment.
Therefor they are effectively forcing me to pay more in interest or cause economic hardship.
I did not ask for the change in servicer, everything my loan should remain the same. Our system does not suppport it, should not be an excuse.

My original loan was with SeedFi. For whatever reason SeedFi went out of business and transferred my loan to SST.
I am about to pay off my loan so I can receive my $2500 and reached out to SST to understand why it may take 15 business days to get my funds returned to me based on my loan type.
I reached out via email so I could keep in writing all my correspondence.
They have not responded and it's been over 7 days.
I am extremely worried I will never get my money back from this company.Customer Answer

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a matter of significant concern regarding the reporting of illegal late payments and the unauthorized sale of my information by SST Corporation. I have recently discovered that late payments have been inaccurately reported to consumer reporting agencies, which is not only damaging to my credit but is also in violation of the law.
It has come to my attention that SST Corporation is reporting late payments on my consumer report, despite the fact that I have never entered into a contract with your company. The original agreement is with SeedFi, and there is no legal basis for SST Corporation to report any late payments on my behalf. This erroneous reporting is not only damaging to my credit score but is also a clear violation of my consumer rights.
Furthermore, I have reason to believe that SST Corporation is engaging in the unauthorized sale of my personal information. I want to make it explicitly clear that I have not consented to such actions, and any attempt to profit from the sale of my information without my explicit authorization is a breach of privacy and a violation of applicable laws.
I demand that SST Corporation immediately rectify the inaccurate late payments reported to consumer reporting agencies and cease any further unauthorized sale of my personal information. Failure to comply with this demand within 30 will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action, including arbitration, to seek redress for the damages incurred.
I expect your prompt attention to this matter and a written confirmation of the corrective actions taken. Please consider this letter as my formal notice and demand for resolution. I am prepared to take further legal action if necessary to protect my rights.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment

expeditious manner. We’ve completed our initial review of the account in question and found the following:
On August 7, 2023, ***** *** ******* ****** signed a Simple Interest Note & Security Agreement
(“the Contract”) with ******* ****, financing $25,558.28 for the purchase of a 2008 Yamaha 21SS;
a 2008 MFIGV Tandem; a 2008 Yamaha MR1 Four Stroke and a 2008 Yamaha MR1 Four Stroke.
According to the Contract, Mr. ****** agreed to make 144 monthly payments of $351.17, beginning on
September 6, 2023. On August 16, 2023, the Account was placed with SST for servicing.
When October reporting went over to the bureaus, SST had a tradeline and ******* **** established
a tradeline on this Account. Mr. ****** called in and informed us there were two tradelines. We had no
confirmation at the time that ******* had deleted their tradeline, so to avoid a **** complaint we
deleted our SST/RECFI tradeline. Now that ******* has deleted their tradeline, we are working on
re-establishing our tradeline which should show as SST/RECFI/*******. The timeline to see
updates to credit reporting vary and depends on the different credit reporting agencies.

I have been making on time payments all yea,, it currently says I have $395 Dollars past due when I have made every payment on time this year. This was a credit building loan under the company seed fi until it was bought out by intuit, and transferred to a debt collection agency, “SST.” Since the transfer, the company has said that this is still the “same plan” that I had with SeedFi however it has reported that I have $395 dollars past due.
I was not notified that this loan would be transferred over to SST and ever since this transfer it has been shady practice after shady practice.
The new company, SST has not kept to the original terms and has been harassing me for the past due amount when I have already made the payments on time without any missing. Any reversals or late payments were made prior to this.
Not only this, I am one of multiple customers whose contract with ****** has been breached by the transfer of this loan to a company that is just a debt collection agency.
There have been hundreds of complaints by consumers of this loan to the better business bureau, with multiple complaints attached about “missing past due payments” when those payments have been made.
This company and this loan have been plaguing my credit score. I took out this loan to build my credit score and all it has done is destroy it.
There have been multiple statements of false charges, different balances owed, and the company not keeping its sworn statement by taking out my payments every two weeks on my paycheck date, rather taking it out every other week unlike how I agreed with ******.
This has gone from a credit building loan to a predatory company change to a debt collection agency with hundreds of people paying the consequences.
Whatever missing payments are not accounted for I am not liable for as this has happened to multiple consumers with the same exact problem.Business Response
