Originally took out a credit builder loan with ******, where once the account was paid off, the funds ($2,500) + interest were unlocked and I could withdraw the funds. At the beginning of December, ****** transferred the account to Systems & Services Technologies. Systems & Services told me that once the account was paid off, I would receive my savings portion within 30 days. The account was paid off on December 20th. Today marks 30 days if you count December 20th as the first day of the 30 days. I called them at the beginning of the week and they told me the check would still be in my mailbox by the 30 days from being paid off, although they still hadn’t closed out my account to send me the check. I’m still waiting for my money and there appears to be no update on their end.Business Response

I had a personal loan through a company called ******. The loan is a build and grow loan where they give you half the money up front and half the money goes into a savings that they give you once you pay the whole loan off. Around November or December of 2022 I received notification that the loan has been sold to SST. I paid my loan off on full on December 12th. I called SST to see when I would receive my savings, they told me I needed to wait 30 days before it would even be looked at. I found that ridiculous, but I waited the 30 days. Then I called again and again to check on the payment of my savings and was first told it is “pending” and I should have it any day, then I was told it will be another 10-15 days. I get no response to my emails, I can’t no answers when I call them, except to keep waiting. At this point, I have zero faith in this company and that I’ll get MY money back. I find it absolutely ridiculous that anything this day would take over 40 days at this point to be processed. We are in a world of electronic processing and this should all be a matter of days. Every time I call, I get a different answer and I do not trust this company at all! I want MY money back right now and I feel they are a fraud of a company.Business Response

I got the so-called credit builder (or I thought it built credit) loan in June where they gave me $1500 (I only wanted an outright loan, but they only gave me this option and tacked on $2500 in "savings" that I couldn't touch with the gouging interest rate of 29.71 apr with a credit score of 592 and an estimated income of around $34,000 gross income with a huge debt burden already (I think it was $8,000 thousand then maybe more). Most personal loans were denied me. I don't understand why I was even offered this. It is predatory. Oh, and the payments were $200 a month. A HUGE burden. I was trying to use this to pay off loans, to improve my situation. I thought that would increase my credit, and I could pay off this predatory loan with huge payments, the only way it would have been worth it. Instead my credit barely changed until recently (but my debt burden is so high, I still only can get payday loans which are worse). My debt increased a huge amount. I started having to take out cash advances, other small loans, and starting getting late on bills which I've never done before. I have since had to borrow $1500+ from my mother with no end in sight to having to keep asking for money as well as constantly using my cash advances. Plus I've had help from family knowing I was struggling, so extra help besides that from my mom. I'd been managing (tight, but without any help, any late bills, any cash advances) my previous debt ok, but after I got the ****** loan, it all snowballed and I was looking at what if I had to file bankruptcy until I found out about debt management programs and started one with ******** (which ****** refused to work with after saying they would) and which caused my credit cards to be closed. I've paid $1600 to **********, I received $1500 I've received to date from ******* I tried to get the new lender to work with my ***, but I've heard nothing for two weeks. Absolutely as uncaring and unwilling to work with me in any way as *******Business Response

I applied for a loan with ****** for $4000 in August 2021. The loan terms stated I would receive $1500 upfront, and the balance of the loan, $2500, would be put into a savings account. Once I finished paying the $4,000 balance of the loan, $2500 would be refunded as a deposit into my bank account. My payment agreement was to pay $100 every other week. As of November 14th, I had made $2,400 in payments directly from my bank account (see attached payment history). I fell behind on some payments, and ****** agreed to lower my payments to $50 every other week and push the past-due balance to the end of the loan so my credit score would not be harmed. Instead, they never did anything and continued to take $50 every other week from my account, claiming my payments were late to the credit bureau. ****** sold my loan to Systems and Services Technologies, INC in December 2022. According to Systems and Services Technologies, I still owe $2,461.53; my agreement with ****** was never transferred over. I get harrased daily, stating my account is past due $575, and I still owe them $2,461.53. I have asked a supervisor to call me plenty of times as their balance is incorrect. Based on my payments, it should show a balance of $1600 left on the loan, not $2,461.53. They have destroyed my credit and, as I asked them before, to release me from the loan and keep whatever I paid over the amount of $1500, which I received upfront. Technically, they are receiving payments towards the money they have in a saving account that I cannot touch. I already paid off the $1500 and paid an extra $900 toward the money in the savings account.
I want Systems and Technologies to cancel the remaining balance and return my $900, or they can close the loan as paid in full and keep the $900 for whatever fees they say I owe. Most importantly, to remove the late payments on my credit report.Business Response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: The agreement with ****** was to put me on a $50 biweekly plan and move the past due balance towards the end of the loan. This was to bring me current. However, SST denies this agreement and only states I must make payments of $50, but not once have agreed to move the past payments to the end of the loan as advised by ******. I continue to receive notices by email stating my last payment received was in September which is incorrect. They need to adjust my balance to reflect my payments made. The balance should not be $2507. The balance is not reflecting all my payments made as shown on my bank statements. Their letter did not reflect my dispute on my balance owed. Where are all my payments made ?Regards,

I opened a borrow and grow plan with **** **. 1300 which i received 650.00 upfront and 650.00 was deposited into a savings. My payments were 40 dollars every 2 weeks which were taken out on auto payment once i paid the 1300.00 dollars plus interest i would receive my money. I got an email from ****** saying that SST was taking over and that since i had auto pay that SST would automatically start auto pay with Sst which they did for 2 payments. Then got an email saying they needed my banking info to continue auto pay which they already had. So i called and spoke to rep. ******* ******* and asked what my pay off amount was 656.50. Which i paid on the Jan. 3 2023 She took my banking info and said i would be receiving my loan savings of 651.63 in 7 to 10 business days in my bank. I called to see what was going on and was told by another agent who didn't want to give me his name that i would not get my money deposited by bank, but by mail in a check in 30 days. I told him I wanted to speak to supervisor and was hung up on. I just want my money. And dont want to deal with this shady companyBusiness Response

Last May I opened an account with *****. They loaned me 750$ I would pay back the loan by paying 100$ every 2 weeks. I would continue paying that amount of money for another 12 months and eventually they would send me the 3000$ that I would be paying in. It's program to help your credit and give you some savings. In the beginning you are told if you wish to end the program, you can. I am very ill. In this process i have been late and right now they have me as delinquent. How can I be delinquent by not putting my own money into their account when I do not owe them any money? How are the endless phone calls, texts and emails helping me to be financially savvy? Through over a year of severe illness I have done my very best to keep paying what I OWE. I am not going to stress myself out about what I DO NOT OWE. ***** sold to SST in the meantime and SST is sending me harassing emails telling me I have to continue in the program even though I have MORE than paid for the initial loan. Money they sent me = 750$. Money I sent them = 1150$ I have told them I no longer wish to be in the program. They say I HAVE to be. Since I paid back more then they gave adn anything i gave them from this point would be my own money going into savings, I do not think they should be trying to force me to complete the program. If I took them to court the result would be that they would owe me money. This morning I began to get very aggressive and almost verbally abusive with them because they are making my entire life miserable. I get 5-6 phone calls a day, at least 3 texts and an email. Please make these people leave me alone to die in peace.Business Response

Amongst the other low reviews, I as well had my loan from another company transfered to SST. The original amount of $3000 has been paid for on time every month since the original date, and i had 4 payments left on the takeover. After seeing reviews, I immediately paid off my entire payoff balance of $403.33 to avoid issues. Now, as of this month, SST is telling me I am one day delinquent on my payment, despite not owing any money on my account. They will NOT pick up the phone or call back to fix this issue, and I already know this will be affecting my perfect credit score because of a "late" payment that i already paid. I also notice that rather than resolving the issue on these reports, they just have an automated systems that publically lays out the details of your loan terms rather than a real response. I am frustrated and don't know what to do next.Business Response
