1 starI came to enterprise in ******* ******** on York road to rent a vehicle for one day while mine was in the shop upon arrival I wasn't greeted a young girl named ****** helped me and made me jump through so many hoops to rent a older and very dirty car. I was told I can only pay with a credit card which I know isn't true because I have rented with them many many times before then I was told the deposit is 300 when in the past I always paid a ****************************************** ******* from enterprise in August and the deposit wasn't 300 then in order to use my debit card which is a major debit card the young girl said I need two bills then another woman who claims to be a supervisor came in and said I needed a check stub as well which in all of my 31 years I've never been asked for a check stub to rent a car then after about 30 mins of me going back and fourth and sending them the said documents they gave me a dirty rental car with stains all over the seats it didn't even smell clean I feel like I was racially profiled they gave me the dirtiest car they had on purpose because I was inquiring about all these new policies. this was my first and last time visiting the **** location i usually use the ******** location where it's only a 200 deposit and always impeccable service this actually might be my last time ever using enterprise I felt like I was buying a house instead of renting a car for a dayReview fromRichard O.

1 starThe most unprofessional rental experience I have ever had in my life. The manager asked me do we have a problem and do I want to step outside when I never cursed him or threatened him. I simply corrected him about being incorrect about my reservation.
Stay away from this location!Review fromAlexander B

1 starEnterprise use marketing tactics to baloon the rental **************** service is non existing in Downtown ********** ******* location...They are quick to pull money from your credit card then say the car needs maintenance...when I asked about another car that was on the front lot the representative said without checking that car probably needs maintenance also but u didn't check until I already paid so I'm out of over $300.00 plus the rental without a car...I was told it will take 3-5 business days for my refund...in essence I'm saying Enterprise drained my credit card & offered no solution...I ubered to another location no knowing my money was gone my card declined at the 2nd location...AGAIN...No solution to rectify my problem..Almost $500.00 & no rental car....DisgustingReview fromCynthia H

1 starRented a lovely Jeep ******** in our home town. Drove it down to *******, **. Had no issues until the third day there. It died after filling it up with gas. Called their help line and they sent out *** to jump it. The AAA man told us it had a bad battery but couldn't do anything without Enterprise authorization. We took it back to our hotel. The next morning the engine light was on. Called the help line again. The lady put me on hold to call ***************** to see if they had a vehicle to switch it out with. Got back on the line and told us to take it there. We drove over there only to be greeted in the parking lot by one of the workers who told us that he had told the lady on the phone that he had no cars for us. He was nice and told us to head over to *************** and go to terminal B to get help. We then drove over there. The manager came over to us and we told him what was going on. He suggested that WE take the vehicle to a repair shop and have the bill sent to Enterprise. We got back in the Jeep and it was dead again. The manager then went to look to see what he had available. He told us he could get us into a compact size car. NO! We were is a full sized SUV and would need the vehicle to get us and all our luggage back across the country in a few days. He then brought out a minivan. My husband noted that it had been wrecked and had a huge dent in the side of it. The manager hadn't even realized it was wrecked and took it back and brought out another minivan. He handed the keys to my husband and said here you go and walked away. No walk around of the van, no paperwork, nothing. The van had something wrong with the front end but no one at Enterprise would help us after multiple calls to them. Told us we would hear from upper management. Never called us. Drive it back home only to be told that the scratches on the front end that had never been documented and we might be responsible for them! We were just lucky to get home!Review fromNaim K

1 starThis is one of the worst companies I have ever come across in my life. It is NOT possible to escalate a complaint. Nobody cares, nobody returns calls. Local managers claim they are the top people in the organization and won't even give you a contact for area manager. The manager did not return $130 of my deposit, purpously to retaliate. Made it look like there was a smell in the car I returned and they had to detail it. %100 lying and there is nothing I can do. I will look into bringing a law suite either for the manager, ***** or the company. I will consult with a lawyer next week. Stay away from this organization.. Corrupt with zero customer service!Review fromMike G

1 starThe company list many vehicles on their website for each location to be reserved, however in reality, they likely don't have what you reserve or any vehicles even close......This is false advertisement, probably not illegal bc they have paid off enough politicians BUT just not fair to the general public.....And i guarantee they knowingly do this.... I would bet NO location in ******* has all the vehicles available that their website says they do! How is this allowed??? ah...enter the Lawyer mumbo jumbo small print??? To the Enterprise MGT....you're sad!!! everyday you falsely advertise available vehicles that are not even close to being at a particular site just to secure a rental reservation and then try to switch to whatever you do have on hand...... I know this complaint will go nowhere, but it is sad the lack of ethics and morals that drive businesses today.Review fromWendy B

1 starI had a reservation at the ****************** location for pick up at 12pm on Nov 2nd, they called me on Nov 1 and told me that due to staffing they needed to move my pick up location to their local office in ********** but failed to mention that my pick up time needed to be changed because their office closes at 12pm so I get there at 12:05pm for my reservation and the agent basically told me I was out of luck until Monday, they could not or would not give me a number for a branch manger or any manager for that fact stated they did not have one and told me to call customer service. So I did just that and was told if I wanted to drive another 3+ hours to another location they would be able to accommodate me even though I already drove 1.5 hours just to get to this location. I immediately canceled my service and cancelled my membership with them and will no longer be using their services. As this is a company I have always used for any of my vehicle renting needs I will now be seeking another business. Very disappointing!!Review fromDory M

2 starsOn September 9, 2024, I was to pick up my rental car in ****, **, they called me 45 minutes before to say they didn't have a car available for me as the cars all had recall notices or engine light warnings. They could not tell me when a car would be available. I waited a few hours and then I called **************** and the ***** transferred my reservation to the ******************. I took a cab there which cost me $149! Since September, I have made multiple calls to Enterprise ****************. The first ***** I spoke with agreed it was not right for **** to not have a car for me and that I could be reimbursed for the cab ride. The *****s I've spoken to have told me **** and ************* need to work it out and that someone will call me within ***** hours. They didn't. The next call i made, I was told someone will email me 'today'. They did not!I have used Enterprise for years but if I don't get this resolved (meaning receive reimbursement), I'm unlikely to use it again and will share my experience with my friends and family.Review fromMarie Paz K

1 starI rented an Extended Luxury SUV from Enterprise. Both Website and phone representative confirmed that the vehicle options were a ******** Escalade ESV, ******* Navigator L, Jeep Grand Wagoneer L (Im looking at purchasing an Escalade or a Navigator). When I arrived - the ******************** had been move into Enterprises Exotic fleet and not available to me. I was told to contact the Exotic fleet manager to coordinate - who was not readily available. Classic ************** I drove out with the Wagoneer expecting the exotic fleet manager to make it right and exchange vehicles, but that did not happen. Why anyone would think the Escalade or the Navigator are Exotic is baffling. I have contacted Enterprise 4 different times over a three week period, always told that I would be contacted by someone to resolve - Im still waitingDO NOT base your Enterprise rental car decision on the car type ********* NOT expect Enterprise to resolve any issue you might have with your ********* NOT rent from Enterprise - they employ the classic bait and switch rental ********* NOT rent from Enterprise - There are better and more affordable car rental agencies to rent from.
