      I purchased an amazing topper and dress to wear to a wedding. Just got the amazing topper. Will wear with a lot of things. Top quality and beautiful!!! Love these clothes. Not cheap but totally worth the $

      Worst store ever. Customer service was horrible. I lost over ****** because they wouldnt allow me to return an item . Remember the days of kindness, and customer comes first, and going the extra mile to make a customer happy. This store does not provide that service.

      Our return policy states that we accept unworn, unaltered and unlaundered items within 60 days of purchase. This information is readily available on our website, posted at the cash register in our stores when you check out as well as on your receipt. You made your purchase on August 20th, 2022 (216 days) which is past the 60 days time frame for a refund.       I was shopping in Soft Surroundings in **** Valley ** 3/12/2023. It was my first time in the store. I like the clothes and the young employee was nice and helpful. My mouth dropped when I was standing in line to check out when I realized the older employee was ripping clothes that didnt sell and shoving them into a trash bag! I gasped and asked, Are you really ripping up those brand new clothes and throwing them out? Yes! She said. Corporate makes ** do it. I was horrified! Why cant these new clothes be donated instead of trashed. The young clerk said they could also cut out the tags per corporate. No tags were being cut just new clothes being destroyed. I returned what I purchased and will never ever go back. Everyone needs to know the careless wastefulness of a company with a nice cozy name. Soft Surrounds.

      Thank you for alerting us to these circumstances. Our policy isnt to damage new or slightly imperfect merchandise. We utilize local resources to mend items that can be returned to our quality standards and sold. Our disposal of damages is for severely damaged, defective, and most importantly soiled merchandise that presents hygiene concerns. We routinely donate samples, items in good condition, and fabric salvage to non-profits that benefit women and programs that center around fashion and design. Senior management that is responsible for this location has been alerted to ensure team understands the expectations and retrains on product inspection, repair, and disposition decisions

      I really wanted the Delaney jacket in size large. I contacted Soft Surroundings and was given a store that had the jacket in my size. The Charlotte, NC store clerk was lovely and I received the beautiful jacket quickly. WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you.

      Horrible customer service I ordered a dress overpriced dress didnt fit right returned at my cost to send back was told to wait and I would be refund my money on my dress with the understanding I would receive a full refund as I paid to ship the dress back ..NO they deducted shipping from my purchase price on top of my cost to send the dress back cant get anywhere with them overpriced and horrible customer service.never again

      This store will not even exchange an item after 60 days with a gift receipt. So what good is a gift receipt?? Don't bother shopping at this store ever!!

      We have a 60 day return policy which is stated online, at the cash registers in stores as well as on the receipts. A gift receipt is for the gift giver to give the gift recipient so they are unable to see the prices.       This retailer is a horror show. I placed an order on May 29. I paid $10 for shipping & it took two weeks to arrive. At that point I was out of town on vacation (which is what the order was for). When I returned I tried the clothes on & the fit was terrible. The pants were tiny in the waist & huge in the hips. The tops, size S, were huge.So I returned the entire order. Had to pay another $9 for shipping. They received the return on July 8 (thank goodness I saved the tracking info). Today is July 27, I still have no refund.Not to mention I called customer service twice & not only were they not helpful, they were rude & arrogant. It's like they think they're selling diamonds or gold bars or something. Newsflash Soft Surroundings: there are a ton of quality retailers out there that have free, fast shipping & decent customer service, not customer DISservice.Save your ************ at *********, *****, *****, *** ************** ******, or any of the other thousands of online retailers that have reasonable, quick ****************** decent customer service.P.S. I'm sure ********************** will respond with "this is our policy, it's on our website, blah blah blah." Newsflash Soft Surroundings: your policies ****, your customer service ************* merchandise is mediocre. I can't even believe you're still in business, but I sure won't be shopping with you ever again.
