This company (that I have never contacted or done any business with) continues to call my work phone. I have explained that they need to take me off their call list but they continue to call. They are also pretending to be calling on behalf of RCI, which they certainly are not. Even when pressed, they continued to try and represent that they are "with" RCI. They are not. Please research this company. They are "calling from" ************ which I'm sure is just a random number they use to get to people by using the same area code as the area code of our phones.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Their response is untrue. I called the number back that was calling me and asked questions about the business. The call taker told me the business name and that it was regarding timeshares which is what the other people were calling about. This is a typical shady business response.
Sincerely,

My wife and I purchased a timeshare with Bluegreen Vacation on March 26, 2008 and then again on July 8, 2008. Over the years, we have experiences a long history of boldface lies and unethical sales tactics. After ten years when we could not book a room with our points only to find that Bluegreen was renting that room to the public for less than we would have paid, did we realize that this was a scam. I share this so you understand why we responded to a solicitation letter from Resort Consulting Group in April of 2019. My wife and I (****** and *******************************) hired Resort Consulting Group and ******************** both located in ******** to get us out of our Bluegreen Timeshare. We paid them $7,917.32 with a Money Back Guarantee that this case would be settled in ***** months. We had ****** Bluegreen points annually with these account numbers: 43/*****, *******, **/*****, **/*****, ************* out that both organizations are as dishonest as Bluegreen. We filled out a ***** of ******** and then followed up with Resort Consulting Group for years. They said our case would take ***** months, but it has been over 4 years. I filled out a complaint against ******************** with the ****** of ***** Disciplinary Counsel in ********. Resort Consulting Group said that their employee acted alone and is no recourse to take with them. In the meantime, I now realize that I am stuck with ********* and they have taken advantage of our situation. I had a history of always paying my Bluegreen maintenance fees and never had a mortgage with them. Back in April of 2019 there was a zero balance on my account. I stopped receiving any communication from Bluegreen in 2019 so I was shocked to discover that I now owe $21,250.32 in maintenance fees!My complaint is simple, see the attached contract and the letter I received when I tried to resolve this with Resort Consulting Group. I am asking for help getting our money back from them. They are unresponsive.Business Response

This client received a settlement offer on 10/31/2022 if they elected to not accept that offer that is certainly their right. But our contractual obligation was fulfilled by getting them the settlement.Customer Answer

Complaint: 20863658
I am rejecting this response because:The response from Resort Consulting Group (RCG) is highly misleading. As you can see from the contract signed in April 25, 2019, I hired RCG to provide a settlement in my favor, not against it. I paid $7,917.92 to RCG to "discharge Client's obligation to Client's timeshare, vacation ownership, or vacation club within eighteen (18) months from the date above". The settlement that RCG refers to is dated October 31, 2022, 42 months after the signed contract! The settlement letters are attached which requested $11,738.00 plus another $11,412.80 for a total of $23,150.80 from (not to) me! I believe this to be a scam as the contract numbers do not match my Bluegreen account and I own four accounts, not two accounts.
It is clear that Resort Consulting Group did not fulfil their contractual obligation. They took $7,917.92 from me and then worked with Bluegreen to try and get another $23,150.80. When I hired RCG I had a zero balance on my Bluegreen Maintenance fees. I was not aware at the time, but I could have asked for a Deed Back with little to no cost. Because of RCG's neglect, my Bluegreen Maintenance fees have soared to $21,250.32.
I am also working with the Attorney General of Missouri to try and stop Resort Consulting Group from deceiving more people. Thank you for your help with this.
Sincerely,

We entered into an agreement with Resort Consulting Group LLC January 25, 2020, where they stated in writing they would discharge our obligation to a timeshare within 18 months, or a refund of 100% of fees paid. No such outcome resulted. After a period of time, our calls were no longer returned. Then they could not be reached because the phone was no longer in service. I recently did a curiosity search on the web and found them by the same name with a different address and phone number. I left two messaged, no no return call. I went to the address, which appeared to be a home in a residential neighborhood. There was no business sign. No one answered the door.Business Response

Our office referred Mrs ***** to Montgomery and Newcomb a Missouri Law firm which was able to secure a settlement of Mrs *****'s complaint against *********. I am rejecting this response because:
We did not engage with *** to deal with ********* - we engaged them to deal with Capital Vacations. We did, in fact, dissolve our relationship with Capital at a much later date, with unsatisfactory results, with absolutely no help from Resort Consulting Group. RCG did nothing other than send us to *** and then they dropped us. Very poor action for the money we paid them, after already being scammed.

We visited Resort Consulting in September 2021 and was told they would help get our money back from Bluegreen Resorts. We set up a payment plan. They did send our name to ********* to protect our credit rating when we stopped paying maintenance fees so we know that part worked. We have contacted them several times since but they stopped responding. When we contacted the lawyer they said we would be going through they told us they never received our information from ***. We feel like we have been taken advantage of. I understand that the person we talked to is no longer with the company because of a medical issue. But, someone should have taken over his cases. *** has many unhappy customers who have been taken advantage of and we want something to happen. What can we do to get our money back from *** and how do we go about getting rid of our Bluegreen?Initial Complaint

We signed a contract with Resort Consulting Group, LLC November 2020. We were told that we would be a part of a lawsuit against Capital Vacations for not being truthful with us about our timeshare. In April 2022 we were told they were waiting on a court date. In May we received a letter from the Resort Consulting Group stating “Your case is currently in direct negotiations and seems to be progressing rather well.”
I called and left a message on
01-06-23, 01-31-23, 02-01-23, 02-02-23, 02-03-23 and never received a call back. We have not been able to speak to anyone in over a year. We want a refund if $6,579.64. We would also like verification if we even have a case or if this was all a scam.Business Response

We have paid a good amount of money to get out of our timeshare. We signed a contract, but have never received any documentation for a resolution. We would like our money back or documentation showing we are no longer responsible for the timeshare. The company has not returned our phone calls regarding the timeshare. ****** ***** from resort consulting hounded us to let him get us out of our blue green time share and recover our money. He said we would get up to 75% of our original investment back. It came with a money back guarantee. We paid them over 6k. We were told we were part of a class action law suit against Blue Green. We would call periodically and get updates and finally they told us it had been settled and that we'd be contacted soon. We never were. So we kept calling back but would get dead end. We contacted the attorney office that supposedly represented us in the class action but they said they did one for resort consulting but we were not included. Tried calling ****** and resort consulting and after many attempts were told he's no longer with them and they have no knowledge of case. We requested our money back several times and sent certified letters. We've tried everything we can think of to get back or money but have gotten no results.Business Response

The employee Mr ****** mentions left the company for medical reasons in 2022. The Burtons did indeed hire us in 2021 to sever their contract with Bluegreen Resorts. We in turn Hired a Springfield MO based law firm to facilitate this. The clients timeshare with Bluegreen resorts has in fact been canceled. Therefore our obligation to this client has been fulfilled.Initial Complaint

We have paid this business $3479.60. I made the first payment in 2021. I have made monthly payments to this business for one year. This business was suppose to release me and my husband from a timeshare and the name of the the timeshare is **** *****. they were also suppose to get money back for us and maintenance fees refunded back to us. I have reached out to the business numerous times and they do not answer the phone. I have left messages and they do not return my phone calls. I was working with a ****** ****** that was a representative for the company. He would answer my calls when I was making payments but once I was finished making the payments it is impossible to get ahold of someone. I would like for this company to get me out of the timeshare and I want the money that was promised to me.Business Response

This Client is out of their timeshare with *********. The employee they mentioned is no longer with us having left in 2022 for medical reasons. As far as recovering their Money from ********* that's not something we promised them and in fact their contract with us specifically states that we are not guaranteeing any recovery. As such we have fulfilled our obligations to them
