I stopped by ***************** in **********, ** to but some meat from these guys ****** a week ago (3/17/24) for the price of $189.00 and was completely scammed out of my money. I took the frozen steaks home and have eaten two of them and have been sick two times. They look disgusting and taste disgusting, Im pretty sure they are spoiled or smelling else is spray wrong with them. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN FOR HEALTH REASONS, they are making people sick and scamming them out of money. They intentionally hide their contact info so that they cant be contacted for refunds. This is a shady business. DO NOT BUY.Initial Complaint

I purchased the meat box ****** on 1/28/2024. Since then we have tried the filets and the ** strip steaks. Both were so tough it was hard to chew. The filets cooked into little wads of meat. We love a good steak and grill medium rare all the time. The ******** steaks were just as bad. I'm afraid to try the seafood. I think the price was good without including the free seafood. I ordered $153.98 worth of meats from Essential Foods around 10/04/2023. On 10/27/2023, I received the box from **** The contents were disgusting. The dry ice has melted, the meats warm, unfrozen, and some not even vacuumed sealed. There was water and blood on the bottom of the box and the sides. I attempted to call the provided 800 number but it was a busy tone all day. I emailed with out getting a response. Total loss of food and money.Business Response

Said company had setup a tent outside of Tractor Supply in ************. I purchased a box of steaks for $350. Was only when I got home that I realized the box had under 10lbs of meat. I paid roughly $35 per pound! I would've been better off going to Wal-mart. Feel scammed.Initial Complaint

Statements made regarding product is misleading and false. The steaks were maybe 2 lbs for $40 and they contain so much solution or water added in that they cook down to nothing. This is not high quality meat as you sold it to us, this is less than mediocre meat that isnt from a farm and is the same as all of the usual grocery store selection only grocers have much better cuts. On October 14th I was offered a meat deal from a meats around amarica tent outside the ******** **** *******
When speaking with the men I was offered a "discount" on the "freshly flash frozen meats" that should stay good for "1-2years" what I instead received was already expired meats that even when cooked retained rancid smell and taste, sub par quality when the employee quoted it to be "prime" and a large chunk of change out of my pocket, 70 cash, 122.57 on the card
No reply from their customer service department to date tho its only been encroaching on 24h since purchasing and is a Sunday.

Business sold 350$ worth of rotten meat and seafood. Not able to reach their company at any time. Will be happy to take back all the meat minus what was consumed.
