Some of the worst customer service experience I ever had will not tell the truth full of liesTower Loan

Thank you for the information provided. Tower Loan (“Tower”) has been made aware by the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”) that the BBB cannot effectively protect information received by the BBB regarding information provided to the BBB concerning customer accounts nor will the BBB notify Tower of third party efforts to obtain such information. As this severely impacts Tower’s ability to protect customer information (as required by law) or defend itself from spurious complaints and attempts at mischaracterization by third parties Tower has no option but to no longer respond to complaints or reviews received from BBB.
It should be noted that in general when Tower is made aware of potential customer dissatisfaction it will investigate the matter and take curative action directly with a customer.
Tower operates over 230 offices in six states. Without providing excellent customer service this would be impossible. While Tower understands human error and misunderstandings sometimes occur, Tower welcomes, and is available for, discussions on all matters with its customers until an issue is resolved.Review fromKelly W

Called to speak with someone concerning the loan payoff. "Manager" was extremely belligerent, overtly aggressive, and would not let me speak. The manager who referred to himself as "******" (his first name is ****) refused to listen to me when I asked if the loan was paid in full. "Manager" would place me on hold without notice and continued as if he were playing a game. The manager was verbally abusive and dismissively refused to advise me of my account information in terms of payoff. These people are unreal. They tell us to find a new place to live because I want live here. No where is my home on a loan. They don't report right payments call friends with same story about my home call with blocked numbers. Don't use these people.Tower Loan

I just got this email from Tower Loan, who I never heard of until this email. I have deleted identifying part of the email:

There is no way to speak to anyone as they don't give a phone number. I filled out their form and am waiting for a response.
They did offer a phone number where I could opt out of more offers but the first thing they asked for was my Social Security Number, which IO certainly am not giving to them. !Tower Loan

This issue is the result of our customer providing us an incorrect email address. Our customer and the Mr. ******* that received the email in error have the same email address except for "@XXXX.com". Tower called and verified with its customer that it now has the correct address.

As with any unwanted mailer, it has been our experience that recipients that do not want to use the offer, simply destroy the mailer. Tower complies with state and federal law in the mailing of its firm offers of credit. The information needed to remove a name from the list maintained by the credit reporting agencies was included in the mailer.Review fromDL

Not very trustworthy. VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL TRIED TO PAY OFF A FINANCED MATTRESS I BOUGHT FROM ***** ********* about 7 years ago ,took multiple calls before getting payment issued resolved we paid it off and in 2023 they garnished my wages for 300 dollars plus over what mattress price was .My wife's debit card was stolen less than a year after our last payment so we have no record of it thus mattress company did not get the payment from Tower Loan as best we can figure and they came after me .Do not trust thus company!!!!! They will g amass you and are difficult to communicate with!!!!!Tower Loan

Tower Loan is very easy to contact, however, communication requires an open two way channel to be effective. There continues to be an outstanding balance on this account, the borrower's have the information needed to contact Tower and or the collection attorney to resolve the matter.DL

Paid it.
Then waited 7 years no communication and decided to garnish wages.

Zero Stars - Tower Loans Hwy 49 Hattiesburg, MS - We were going through ******* **** ****** and Tower Loan refused to have anything to do with it. Called my husband at work numerous times after being told not to call at work. Drove to my house and left an unmailed letter in my mailbox (federal offense), left business cards on my closed gate, she threatened my family, my job, and my life. We finally filed bankruptcy just to make them go away. So now rather than working with me, they get nothing. Horrible company, horrible employees. After sending them a cease-and-desist letter, I still received 12 calls. They should be fined but won't be.Tower Loan

Tower has no contractual relationship with the person that wrote this review. As such, Tower cannot specifically address any of the allegations. In general, Tower will attempt to work with any customer experiencing temporary difficulties. Typically, this will require an active two-way line of communication that would eliminate the need for Tower to visit a borrower's residence. Further, in general, Tower is an original credit and no subject to FDCPA restrictions mentioned in this review.Review fromKarin J

Extremely dissatisfied. All payments made in a timely manner on multiple loans with previous loans in good standing too. Every month I get an unsolicited call from them with an unsolicited offer to refinance. Most months I decline because if I accept and apply, the system "automatically declines" me and I get a new black eye on my credit rating for my trouble. Don't bother. The interaction will be frustrating at best.Tower Loan

If i could give zero stars i would! The gentleman supervisor at tower loans in PellCity is very rude and unprofessional. After going in to make a payment his employee called us to ask us to come back. During the call an incident happened with a third party and some choice words were had between my husband and that person. The supervisor then got on the phone and started screaming and cursing at my husband not letting him explain what happened and that he was not speaking to the young lady on the phone. Then when I called back moment's later to speak with the young lady that was originally on the phone and explain and apologize for what happened said supervisor got back on the phone and started degrading and trying to strong arm me. when I informed him I would be calling corporate he informed me he was corporate and there was nothing I could do! Beware of doing business with these people.Tower Loan
