This company harasses people. I made a payment and the next day someone called asking about the next one. I set up the payment online and they still call me. It’s too much. I will never do anymore business with them. The unprofessionalism is way too much.Tower Loan

Thank you for the information provided. Tower Loan (“Tower”) has been made aware by the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”) that the BBB cannot effectively protect information received by the BBB regarding information provided to the BBB concerning customer accounts nor will the BBB notify Tower of third party efforts to obtain such information. As this severely impacts Tower’s ability to protect customer information (as required by law) or defend itself from spurious complaints and attempts at mischaracterization by third parties Tower has no option but to no longer respond to complaints or reviews received from BBB.
It should be noted that in general when Tower is made aware of potential customer dissatisfaction it will investigate the matter and take curative action directly with a customer.
Tower operates over 230 offices in six states. Without providing excellent customer service this would be impossible. While Tower understands human error and misunderstandings sometimes occur, Tower welcomes, and is available for, discussions on all matters with its customers until an issue is resolved.Review fromCHRISTOPHER F

Towerloans in Montgomery, Alabama is very unprofessional and rude. Even once you pay your account off in full, they still will not repost correctly to the credit bureaus. So, we will be getting an attorney to sue them, because this negative on the credit is keeping me from purchasing a home. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!Tower Loan

This company harasses you after you makes payments. I have paid my account up to date and they have proceeded to take me to small claims court. I have one payment due that is less than the actual amount of the monthly payment. I will never recommend anyone to do business with them.

This company doesn't deserve any stars.... ZERO ratings. They reported a loan to the credit bureau that they knew I didn't do. They contacted me and told me that the company sent a random check to my old address in which they knew I no longer lived at. I gave them my updated address in 2013 of July. I've not returned to the state of MS since I've moved in 2013. The loan was processed in January of 2023..... This Year. Why put this on my credit report if you know I didn't cash the check and you know who did it? This company is so cruel.Tower Loan

1 star***** from Tower Loan called my cell on a daily basis even though I had made pay arrangements with them, I spoke to her or a co worker daily as they kept calling so I stated it was the same answer, I then did not pick up one of the phone calls as I am trying to work and started a new job they started calling my work number asking for me, They personally told my receptionist who they were with and I needed to call to make a payment that is past due on my account. Once I did get out of my meeting my co worker let me know and out of my embarrassment I was humiliated in front of coworkers. ***** then started calling me the next day at around 650AM and 710AM asking me if I can meet her or she can come to my home to get payment, She then started stalking me, harassing me driving by home, calling non stop, it was more than an unprofessional experience, I was humiliated, as I had already told them when I would make payment so after all this I sent them into the FTC and Attorney General regarding this. If this is not dismissed and a payment of $5000 is not sent to me before 06/15/2023, I will seek further damages in mental health, discrimination, and defamation of character. I hope this can be settled amicably and asap. If this cannot be settled I will file a counter suit with the courts regarding this and seek counsel, and ask my cell phone provider and my work place for the recorded calls, and I have cameras at my home and will request RING send me these as they are not saved on my phone that far in the past.Review fromAlex M

On May 19, 2023 I sent a certified letter of complaint to Tower Loan’s compliance office. To date, they’ve had 3 notices to pick up the letter at the window. Today it was marked return to sender. So they clearly have ignored my concern when I have acted in good faith. My next resource will be to present all this to my attorney as I believe I have an argument.Tower Loan

I currently have a loan with Tower Loans in Clarksdale, Ms and have lost over half of my household income. I have asked numerous times for some type of hardship plan and was told they don’t have one and they won’t accept partial payments. It was suggested that I pay 150$ every 2 weeks. I again explained my situation. My bring home pay is a $1000 every 2 weeks but mortgage is almost 900$ a month. Then I have to pay car payment, insurance & etc..So I offered a $100 a month and was turned down. I’ve been threatened numerous times to send my loan to collections so finally I told the store manager to go ahead, there is nothing I can do because I don’t have $300 a month to pay. Hopefully when I get sent to collections they will work with me on a payment plan. Iget calls Monday - Saturday from the store at least once a day and have had as many as 3 in day.even after I asked to be sent to collections. And I’ve asked not to call me on my cell during work hours that we are not allowed to have personal calls while we are working and they still continue. I emailed home office also about a payment plan with absolutely NO response. Bad business!! I don’t know what else to tell the employees that work in Clarksdale Ms store. I don’t have the money.Tower Loan

Tower loan has put three hard inquiries on my credit just to bring my credit score down cause I missed a couple of payments. This is unacceptable! People fall on hard times sometimes but just because they couldn't get on time payments from me doesn't mean they should be able to doo hard inquiries on me anytime they'd like to bring my credit score down. When I called to inform them, they lied and said that they only did one. So I decided to dispute this matter with the credit bureau. I hope they can help me get this **** off my credit.Tower Loan

In general, when Tower obtains credit after a loan is originated as allowed by the promissory note, the inquiry does NOT show as a hard inquiry but rather a soft inquiry which does not impact a credit score. In this case, due to the limited information provided I am unable to identify the account in question.Review fromRonald B

Very poor customer service. I am going to have to take FMLA and I wanted to take out a loan with them. I called them on May 5, 2023 to take out a loan. They called me back on May 12, 2023 and asked when I was coming down to get my loan. I told them I could come the following Saturday and said it was fine. I called them today and they said they said in a mean way that they will not be open on Saturday.Tower Loan

Paid off loans, all of them in good terms. Will not stop calling me, despite requests to lose my number. Don't bother giving them your information, they will get back every dollar and make your life miserable every chance they get. They should be located in India with the number of harassing calls they make every day.Tower Loan
