    2/10/22 ***** ***** (owner) and ***** ******** sales rep came , determined generator size (18KW)and took 4,794.40 (half up front) and gave a date of 8/9/22 for delivery and installation. they also advised dad a new gas line would need to be run and he had that done with a cost of $3000. No delivery and install has happened yet, Every couple of months since then dad would check in and get another 2 month push back. Around 8/22 Dad was able to reach Mr. ******* at 601-********. Mr. ******** stated he no longer worked there because he couldn't work for a company that did business they way they did. After several no call, no show dad was able to contact them on 3/23 and was told it would be delivered and installed 5/17/23. Still hasn't happened. Approximately 5/27/23 Generac corporate was contacted, ******** returned dads call and stated the generator would be delivered and installed 7/3/23. Dad stated we have been told that for months now and cant believe they aren't more concerned about the negligence of someone selling their product. She stated what was she supposed to do? She also stated she recently found out there were 3-4 more complaints against Generator Power solutions inc. Today 6/2/23 dad stopped by the business and spoke with secretary ****** ****** and a service technician ****** ******.Mrs. ****** pulled up the computer date of 7/3/23 for install. She left the room for some reason and Mr, ****** said to dad he bet he didn't get it delivered then either. We do not wish to do further business with this company. However, we do expect a total refund plus interest for 15 months he had dads money. Receipt can be provided. Thank You, ****** ******* on behalf of ***** *******

    Made a deposit/purchase of a Generac Generator for back up power to residence. Was told generator would take about 9 weeks to arrive but would be installed by December 2022. Hears nothing from company starters calling and kept getting excuses. Requested refund and was told I’d be given a refund but later called back and told I was scheduled for installation on May 20,2023. On May 18,2023 was told it would be May 23, 2023. No one showed up on May 23 and I went to business where I was told by employees that the owner, ***** *****, was not there as they were also waiting on him. Attempted to make contact with owner via phone and second visit to establishment with no luck.

    On 12/27/21, I paid a deposit to Generator Power Solutions (GPS) for a home standby by generator of $5,772.37. The estimated delivery date was 10/03/22. In March 2022, a factory representative contacted me to say thanks for purchasing the generator, I asked him about the long delivery date & he told me that were working to catch up on orders & it probably would delivered sooner. In June 2022, I contact GPS to get an update & they told me that my delivery date had been moved up to the middle of September 2022. After numerous calls by me for updates from 9/22 to 12/22, I was finally told that my generator had been scheduled to be shipped between the 12/15-12/21/22. I did not hear anything so I called GPS the 1st week in 1/23 & was finally told that the generator had been delivered to them but their 1st available install date was 3/23/23. We scheduled an install for 3/28/23. This date was canceled in 2/23 by GPS & rescheduled for 4/5/23. I was told on 3/31/23 that my install date had been over booked by GPS & they would not be there on 4/5/23. & that they would reschedule. I had not heard back from them & on 4/5/23, I called & told them that I been giving the run around for to long & that I either needed a refund or a firm install date within 30 days. On 4/7/23, GPS called & wanted to schedule my install date for 5/16/23, I agreed. A formal appointment was scheduled and confirmed my me at that time. They told me that this was a firm date. GPS did not show up for the install on 5/16/23. I called their office multiple times & only got their voice mail. I left 2 voice mails & I still have been contacted by GPS. I sent them an email requesting an explanation and demanding a refund of my deposit. I have not had a return phone call or a return email. They had already given me the story about their employees not taking care of business & that they had gotten rid 3 of them & was working to get back on track but it appears that they have bigger issues.

    On October 8th 2021 I purchased a 24KW home standby generator from Generator Power Solutions. I was told that due to shortages it would be around 40 weeks to get the generator and install it. I payed in full the amount of $11,284.85. I have only received one phone call from them since the purchase and all other communication was me having to call them. I have been given multiple excuses about shipping and delays over and over again. The one call I did receive was on February 14th 2023 saying that my generator was finally delivered and they would install it on April 7th 2023. Generator Power Solutions then changed the install date two more times without notifying me. The last install date was to be April 27th 2023 and they did not show up or call. I have gone to their business location to try to come to some resolution and was told that owner was not there so I requested that he contact me and he has not. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with any company and at this point I do not think they have any intentions on delivering the product that I have paid for.

    I contracted with GPS (Generator Power Solutions) to purchase and install a home generator on Aug 18, 2022. I paid in full $10,452.83. It was scheduled to be installed mid December 2022. Over the course of the past 3 months I have contacted the business several times and have been given various reasons why I have yet to receive my generator ("they haven't arrived", "they are here but don't have computer chips", "we don't have enough workers to install all of the generators", "we are back logged and just now installing generators ordered in February and March of 2022", "you're scheduled for July but it might be September before we can get to you") The attached letter was sent certified to Mr. ***** ***** requesting a full refund. I received a call from the office manager stating that I have been placed on the "refund list" and that we were #31 on that list; however, all requests for further information have been ignored. I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office.

    I purchased a Generac 24kw generator on April 14, 2023, from Generator Power Solutions (GPS). No delivery date was specified in the contract but I was told at the time of purchase that the usual wait was 6 months and that it would probably be sooner. I have never received a call from GPS. They have no regard for keeping their customer informed of their dereliction. I have contacted them myself on numerous occasions and received nothing but delays and excuses. It is now one year to the day from the original purchase. I want nothing further to do with this company and want a full refund of $5200.

    On Sept. 20, 2021 I paid to Generator Power Solutions LLC, **** ***** ***** **** ******** ** ****** ************, $11,861.43 in full through Synchrony Bank, for a Generac 7kw - 24kw standby generator and professional installation. It was financed through Generac's Synchrony Bank for 0% interest for 48 months, which means this company received their money up front. It has been over 18 months now and I have not received the generator yet. I was told up front that they were 30 days behind because of back orders. However, over the course of this 18 months, I heard nothing during the first 6 months, then I started calling them and they gave me several installation dates of which they have not kept any of them, the latest being March 22, 2023. The only time they got in touch with me was when I entered into a dispute claim with Synchrony Bank. Their response to the claim dispute with the bank was they told them they had a signed delivery ticket that I had received it, which was not true. They told me that the generator was in their warehouse then they gave me a new installation date two times and did not keep either one of them. They never call me to say they can't come or need to change the installation date. I always have to call them after they do not show up. I called them Monday, 27th, and they said they would have to redo their schedule and get back with me, which they have not. I am entering into another dispute claim with Synchrony Bank that they have not delivered and installed the generator.

    Generator Power Solutions (GPS) took over $6000 from us to purchase a generator, but failed to provide us with any updates regarding the order status or installation and now state it will be a year after purchase before they will provide us with the generator we have already paid for. On August 23, 2022 we paid GPS $6100 for a generator. GPS subsequently cashed our deposit check. At the time, GPS employees informed us that the generator was backordered and that it should be in stock in November 2022, at which time they would call us to schedule the installation. We did not hear anything regarding our generator order for over six months, at which time we contacted GPS to inquire about the order status. We attempted to contact GPS several times by calling their office number over this period, but no one ever answered and there was no option to leave a message. We were finally able to speak to someone in March 2023, and were advised by GPS that they would not be able to install our generator until August 2023, a year after our purchase and 9 months after they originally indicated our generator would be available. GPS’s explanation for the delay was that there were customers ahead of us for installations, which was not explained to us when we placed our order, yet they certainly would have been aware of a year long waitlist for installation when we placed our order. We explained to GPS that the reason we had ordered our generator in August 2022 was because we were expecting a child in March 2023. GPS said there was nothing we could do to have the installation sooner than August 2023. When we asked why no one had contacted us for months about the status of our order, GPS said it was because they were short handed. This company clearly only cares about money and does not value customer service at all. We would like the BBBs’ assistance in having the generator we paid for delivered and installed, understanding there is an additional installation fee.

    Mr ********, you will be contacted 1st thing Monday morning to schedule your installation for a realistic date. Unfortunately, I had a couple of bad seeds in the office telling customers incorrect information and quite frankly lying to many of my customers. Both of these employees were terminated 3/17/23 and 3/19/23. Mrs ****** and I are working daily to address and correct the mess that these two created. 

    Concerning your complaint of calling my office and no one ever answered and there being no option to leave a voicemail. 

    I will investigate this because I have 4 lines working off 2 different phone numbers. one of which is recorded.  Each of these has the option to leave a voice message. I am not sure which number you have tried but to be sure you are able to contact my office now and in the future...

    On October 4th of 2022, I contracted with this is business for a Generac Home Generator to be delivered and installed by mid Feb. A deposit of 7k was given in good faith as I was under the impression this company was reputable. Since then, upon several attempts to check on the status of the order, I am met with dismissals attitudes and generally no response from the company. First availability was an issue. Now they don’t have anyone to install it. I offered to take delivery and have it installed myself and now they are unresponsive. They won’t call me back. I feel this company is not reputable. I am seeking a termination of their worthless cot and a refund of my deposit.

    This customers complaint is completely non-factual! My office staff have been in contact with Mr ********* multiple times since Oct 4th when he signed the purchase contract and paid for his equipment. In fact, we had been in communication with him the week prior to work out the installation scheduling and on Feb 13th 2023 he was officially scheduled for the installation to begin on March 8th 2023. We have also spoken with Mrs ********* as of last week to confirm everything, she gave my assistant her email address asking for us to directly communicate with her, as her husband does not handle business dealings well. Fact is, the only accurate portion of Mr *********'s complaint are the first 2 sentences, the rest of his complaint is 100% false. Proof of false information- my team spoke to him again on Feb 13 2023 at which time he approved an installation date of March 8th 2023. This was one day prior to him filing this complaint! I respectfully ask that this specific complaint be removed from public view, as it is false. Thank you for your consideration.

    I am rejecting this response because:  If in fact they show up and fulfill their agreement on March 8th 2023, as promised, I will be more than happy to rescind the complaint.  Please bare in mind, that it was only AFTER I filed my complaint with you folks, that I got a positive response from the business.  

    They say that communication is the secret to good business practices... I agree.

    Yes, I did stop into the business, in an attempt to communicate with the owner.  Once, I was successful and was told  they were having trouble getting the product.  Then, their response was finding people to install the product was difficult.  Other inquiries were met with either NO RESPONSES, or, "WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU". but regardless of what you are being told, NO ONE DID.

    If trying to check on a several month old commitment, including a $7,000. plus down payment on the transaction is a bad thing????? Then I am guilty.

    Finally, approximately 2 weeks ago, they contacted my wife and told her, they planned to install the generator on March 8th, 2023.  Shortly thereafter, I received a request for the installation date to be added to my calendar for March 8th.  I of course, accepted the request.  I believe that will be over 5 months since the contract was signed.  AM I SO WRONG TO BE CONCERNED?

    I will be happy to reverse my letter of complaint when the installation of the generator is completed.

    I've always believed that communications with your customers are the keys to doing good business successfully.  I too hope this issue will be erased from this businesses reputation.

    We have all gone through some pretty tough things with COVID and all.  I will be happy to revisit the customers web site with a positive review on March 8th, once the generator has been installed and all parties are happy.
