      Part of their mission statement is "Our mission is powered by our core values of Embrace we, do right, own it and fresh thinking." they need help with customer service. I went to exchange some money. when I sat the money in the slot under the rock that have at the drive through it had blew out before the teller shut the arm and became lost. That when I was driving around trying to find it and I was then racially profiled by a bank employee. She had assumed I know a black man in a Jeep and that we were talking so she came from her workstation to the outside of the bank just to ask me who was the man in the black Jeep you were talking. I had never talked to anyone in a Jeep. when I told her that she said I thought was telling him. She even told me i was not going to get my $100.00 back. I had contacted the bank and no one from the back ever said sorry for being racially profiled or for my money being lost!

      WORST bank to do business with. They lack a customer service mentality and handle business the wrong way with customers. I have had a card missing in the mail for over a month and have been told that in order to receive a new one, my account would have to be locked and I can't access my funds until the "new card" appears. I am very disappointed in their business and will be moving to a different bank. Everyone there is so rude and even their own employees admit to what a horrible bank it is to use.

      I agree with other reviewers, they suck! I have two granddaughters who live with me. I Have added one on my account as a student account. I added the second on my account and been trying to get her a debit card for over three weeks. They say it's ordered and it will be 8-10 business days. Well 10 business days later no card and they can't even find a record of it being ordered. This is twice in three weeks this has happened. I don't know if this is because of Cadence taking them over or what. All I can say is run don't walk from this bank.

      DO NOT use this bank. As of this morning everyone that has direct deposit did not get paid this morning. No money was put in accounts and yes my work place deposited our money and BancorpSouth customers were the only ones that did not get ours. Every time they do maintenance on there systems it usually falls on a Friday when everyone gets paid. Good banks are far and few. I have not found one yet.

      Worst bank ever! I have had an account with them in good standing for over 20 years and deposited hundreds of my father's checks who has helped with my children's college educations. I found an older check from my dad and he told me I could deposit it... went to my branch manager and she told me no, she didn't trust me or the check. I even showed her the text from my dad telling me it was ok to call check with a photo of the check... will be closing this account. It's unbelievable to me having been a customer of theirs for over 20 years and depositing hundreds of my dad's checks. No loyalty whatsoever. My Mom is leaving me a substantial sum of money one day and would have trusted Bancorp South with it but not now! This world and the lack of trust and greed is unreal to me! My account has always been in good standing!

      BancorpSouth is not a responsible bank to choose! Whenever you haves issues whether it be simple banking needs or receiving of your card, every employee that you speak with has a different solution to the problem which leads to your problem not being solved. Every year that your card expires, there is one sent to your home so they say. I have yet to receive my card in the time frame that is stated by the Call Center or at my local branch. I hear 10-14 business days from the local bank and 7-10 business days from the Call Center. I also also hear that my card had already been sent out, but I still would have yet to receive a card. This is just my review on why this Bank is not the best option to choose, but with me being a smaller area you sometimes have to work with what you have which leads to problems like this. Regardless if it is the call center or the local branch there will be problems!
