    Took out a loan for 750. Instead of giving me 750, cash advance decided to take 750 and now im overdrawn at 6pm on a Monday. Its not that hard to sit behind a computer for 8 hours a day plus breaks, the f*** are we doing? You can't tell me the solution isn't a couple of buttons on the keyboard and yet the help agent had nothing for me. Somebody up there has no clue what theyre doing.

Our team has investigated the matter to ensure a prompt resolution, and funds have already been re-deposited into the complainants account.  We have taken steps to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.

    I received an email on 6/17/2025 stating that I was denied for a loan. The email provided an application number. I looked the company up and contacted them at the number on the website which was different than the number provided in the email as I was concerned that someone used my identity to apply for a loan. The first ****** I spoke with refused to assist me because I would not provide my social security number even after I explained that I was concerned about identity theft since I had never heard of the company, nor did I apply for any loan. She then hung up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor and explained my hesitancy as I was not sure that this was a legitimate company and that I had never applied for any loan. I asked for any additional way to verify my identity other than providing my social security number and was told no. I advised that I would be reporting the company to the BBB and filing a claim for fraud. I spoke with ******** who was a supervisor

    I am rejecting this response because: None of the above is true.  On 6/17/2025 when I first contacted Cash Advance Now to notify them that I had not applied for a loan and offered to provide the application number instead of my social security number to the representative (understandably so since I was not familiar with this company and know that providing this over the phone could very well give them the needed information to in fact steal my identity), the representative refused to take the application number which I offered to provide NUMEROUS times. I asked to speak to a supervisor and when I continued to offer to verify any other additional pieces of information, all attempts were refused by the representative.  The representative then hung up on me.  I called back a second time and spoke with another representative and then asked for a supervisor. I was transferred and explained the situation again hoping that a supervisor would be able to assist. When the supervisor would not take the application number I became suspicious and advised that I would be contacting the BBB and reporting this as fraudulent because I did not apply for this loan.  I also advised that if needed, I would contact the authorities to alert them of this company. The "supervisor" said ok or something to that effect.  At no time during either call was I advised to make any report, given any contact information or asked to call back and provide report numbers.  

    I advised that I was concerned that this would be on my credit report and I wanted it removed.  I was also concerned because once I looked the company up, the number on the letter is not the same number on the website.  Please see attachments.

     

    Why would someone concerned about their identity being stolen provide their social security number to a company they have never heard of for "verification" rather than providing the application number that the company should be able to reference?

    I did not want to borrow $600. I was just checking into what I needed to submit in case I decided to get a loan. I submitted some information and was told that I needed to provide more if I wanted the loan. I didn't provide anymore because I didn't want the loan. The next day the money showed up in my account. I have paid $1,662 and some change already and want this resolved. I don't feel like I should have anymore money deducted from my paychecks because I never wanted the loan. Very deceptive practice.

    Third, we certainly understand that everyone faces financial difficulties from time-to-time, but the loan agreement signed by ******* ***** is legally binding.  Thus, we have every right to expect payment as scheduled in the agreement.  To date, ******* ***** has only made a partial repayment towards the total outstanding loan balance.

    I submitted my personal and banking information on what I believed was a loan pre-qualification form through another company. I was not shown any final loan agreement or terms, nor did I knowingly agree to receive funds. Despite this, $600 was deposited into my bank account without clear consent or a signed agreement. I later discovered that the loan carries a 700% APR, with repayment totaling over $3,500. I never knowingly accepted those terms. The company claims I agreed electronically, but I did not see or approve of a final agreement. The initial email with those terms went to my spam folder and was not reviewed until after the deposit was made. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General. I have not used the funds and am requesting a resolution.

    I am still concerned that this company is tricking people into thinking they are getting a preapproval and then signing them up for a loan and sending it to their bank accounts. The details of this loan after seeing the offer, was going to cost me over $3000 for a $600 loan. I never signed and they had a wrong address on file. They said I could mail them the money back with no interest which is what I wanted. But the time and effort to spend on this ridicules. They need to be investigated. 

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    I received a loan from cash advance now. I attempted to call to reach a settlement or payment plan. They advised me that until I missed 2 payments they could not work with me for a settlement or payment plan. Because of that I missed 2 payments and my account is now pending collections. I have already paid over this loan and they want me to pay thousands in interest. I know these loans are high interest but how absurd to not work with customers until their account is past due and then send them to collections. I want to settle the remaining amount.

    I took out a loan with this company, had trouble paying it back so got on a payment plan of $25 a month. March was my last payment of $68, after paying 25 for over a year. My account with them is closed but they are still withdrawing $25 a month from my bank. They want to have a call with my bank or do a decision logic to see into my bank account. I sent them the snapshot of my bank account with their debit amount and they said its not good enough.

    I took out a $600 loan with cash advance now. I have already paid back $300 and they want me to pay over $2,800 for it to be settled in full. That is illegal. The loan has a 700% interest rate which violates ******** usury laws. They have already had a lawsuit against them and lost due to their illegal predatory loan practices. They are not owned/operated by a tribe and do not operate on tribal land which makes every loan they give out illegal and unenforceable and any contract with them null and void. I will be in contact with my states attorney general to further this matter if it is not resolved.

    First, we would like to take this opportunity to provide you with some background information on our company, its business practices, and our actions in response to our customer. ****************** is committed to complying with the principles of federal consumer protection laws and regulations, as well as the laws of the Fort ******* ***************** Cash Advance Now discloses the total cost to a borrower if only the minimum payment schedule is followed, and we inform our customers that this is an expensive form of borrowing. The APR is disclosed on the Cash Advance Now website and is prominently displayed in loan documents that are reviewed and signed by the customer.

    Second, we would also like to address the complainants assertion that this transaction was predatory, which is unfounded. Cash Advance Now informs our customers that this is an expensive form of borrowing, and we even encourage our customers to prepay (with no penalty) to reduce the overall cost of borrowing. We go further and inform our customers that our product is not meant as a long-term financial solution. We also allow our customers to cancel their payment obligations under their Loan Agreement (at no cost), no later than 3:00 p.m. Mountain time of the next business day immediately following the Disbursement Date.

    Lastly, the complainants assertions regarding litigation involving Cash Advance Now are inaccurate, misleading, and irrelevant to this matter.

    We certainly understand that everyone faces financial difficulties from time-to-time, but the loan agreement signed by **** ******* is legally binding. Thus, we have every right to expect payment as scheduled in the agreement. To date, **** ******* has only made a partial repayment towards the total outstanding loan balance.

    We will communicate with **** ******* directly in an effort to resolve their concerns. Correspondingly, **** *******, at their convenience, may call our customer service line, and they will be directed to a representative who can assist them with any additional questions.

    I submitted my personal and banking information on what I believed was a loan pre-qualification form through Cash Advance Now. I was not shown any final loan agreement or terms, nor did I knowingly agree to receive funds. Despite this, $700 was deposited into my bank account without clear consent or a signed agreement.I later discovered that the loan carries a ******% APR, with repayment totaling over $3,500. I never knowingly accepted those terms. The company claims I agreed electronically, but I did not see or approve a final agreement. The initial email with those terms went to my spam folder and was not reviewed until after the deposit was made.I have already filed complaints with the ************************************, the ************************, and the Georgia Attorney General. I have not used the funds and am requesting resolution.

    Following the complaint's submission to the BBB, on April 8, 2025,Cash Advance Now received an identity theft claim from ***** *******. Upon receipt of the claim, the customer was provided with the identity theft procedures for their claim. We received the proper identity theft documentation on April 9, 2025. To date, ***** ******* currently has no financial obligations with Cash Advance Now.
