We were contacted by postcard (*******) and asked to attend a seminar, which we did. We were told of the great travel savings we would get, and on everything - cruises, hotels, rental cars. We bought into the program, as it sounded good. However, after a full year, I have been unable to find any "savings" on any travel we've wanted to take. I was sent a "Special Offer Discount" cruise trip I was interested in, and the quote only contained the pricing, and a list of the ports of call. There was no information about the ship, dining arrangements, trip itinerary, or anything else, so I went directly to the cruise line website where I was quoted the exact same price as the "special discount" my expensive travel club membership entitled me to. I got all the info I wanted, and noted that the exact same cruise 3 weeks later would cost $1800 less, a much better deal. The only thing my expensive travel club membership would get me was a 6% discount on the cruise, in this case about $190. If we cruised once a month every month for 5 years we would not "save" enough to cover our initial outlay! So, avoid RSI and all it's affiliates.Also, I called to try to arrange a family outing, and suggested several possible destinations. The only "destination" we were offered involved 22 hours one way travel time, and with a 3 year old, that is NOT a vacation, it's a nightmare. Clearly, the staff is trained to push vacations to the high commission destinations, which may be nice, but not what I wanted at all. Stay away. I lost my money but you don't need to lose yours.

This time we worked with Betsy. She was wonderful, very personable and very friendly. She efficiently worked through all the information I had gathered about a trip we were planning to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, and she worked through everything we asked for and booked all our travel. We have been a member for the past two years. We have continually received excellent service, including follow-ups to verify confirmation of reservations. Every agent we have worked with has been very friendly and easy to work with. We were recently on a trip we booked with RSI to *********** and the ************, and were pleasantly surprised that we could book the Vrbo properties at which we stayed and tours through "Get My Guide" through RSI. We have been very happy with our membership with RSI. The only concern we've had is that you must give RSI your itinerary and identify places you want to go/see, including where you want to stay. In our experience, this works best because RSI is weak at developing itineraries for you. However, once you let an agent know where you want to go and what you want to see, they excel at putting it together for you.
