I have a fence that keeps my and four other residents garbage cans from falling down a steep hill. The other for homes are occupied by women, three of them elderly. the fence has been there a long time and never had been damaged prior to *** taking over. Within the first two weeks they damaged it and continue to do so. I've called and complained four times to no avail. The dispatch and customer service do not respond other then lip service. On May 8, 2025 my garbage was to be picked up by ***. They did not pick it up all week so I called on Monday, May 12 to report my problem and pay my bill and was told that they would pick it up as soon as possible, now it is May *************************************** two weeks. When I looked on portal, it said May 8 was completed, which was a lie. There is 40 properties. In this development and none of them have been picked up. It would be nice to go back to waste pro and have them do our trash service in *************** again.Initial Complaint

Buncombe County contracted with FCC Environmental for their residential trash and recycling service and they have not been helpfuling in establishing service. I have been calling since February to get bins delivered for service and they still haven't been delivered. I've called every other week since mid March and they keep telling they'll have them delivered by the end of the week and have someone from local management will call me back. We haven't got bins or a call back. They have charged me $85 for a service they haven't provided. I know I am not the only person experiencing issues like this. My neighbor said it took over 5 times calling then had to go to their office in person to get them. I live in ***** and this is a family home in North Carolina that we are trying to get trash and recycling bins delivered to. So I can't go in person. There has been news stories about this issue yet they still can't seem to provide the service.Business Response

Yesterday a *** truck came and took my trash cans and my neighbors. My payment is auto-drafted, I owe nothing. The account is current. I called and got no help. They didn't even know anything about it! So now I have no cans. So no trash pickup! And I pay for a bear can that I have not received. They have missed my entire street on multiple occasions (over 30 people). I have called and emailed. (the email they provide is not active) No help! I am paying for things that I have not received. This is fraud! This has been going on for 4 months! 1000's have filed complaints with the county. They are stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars.Business Response

My recycles have not been picked up since Feb 4th. I have called weekly. we go to the local office weekly -we are on the "hot list" or they put a ticket in. They GUARANTEE it will be picked up. They track the driver and tell us yes we see where he continually skips your street. We are told they are sending someone out to pick up it and nothing. I can't get a hold of anyone and it is this endless loop of nothing. this is the worst service I have ever encountered in my life. All I want is my recycle to picked up like it should be. I signed up for trash service at the beginning of the year and I still havent received trash carts. I was told to put my trash on the curb for pickup until I received carts. That worked up until the last couple of weeks. There are bears in my neighborhood. If I put the trash bags on the curb, the bears will get into it. I cannot take out my trash now until I receive bear carts. I spoke with ******* ****, operations manager, on 2/25/25. He promised that carts would be delivered the next day. *** continues to not start my service as well as many others in the county. If you look up their reviews- every single one is 1 star for similar problems. I have requested to start services 3 separate times and filed payment each time. No response. No email. Nothing. I have called nearly 10 times and every time they say they will make a note and email me. Gov ***** is outside of my zone and this is the only offered service. I moved out of ********* area and cancelled my contract with waste pro at the same time. *** has fraudulently opened an account in my name and sent a bill for three months of service.
