      CPI has supposedly updated the system and we have had nothing but problems called them concerned about it keep having issues with it chimes all the time and keeps us awake constantly they dont care and they have terrible service i a ready for them to come take the system out and go with someone else I have been with them since 2008 I am fed up with the lack of service or care

      Be aware when trying to cancel your service. We notified CPI in November that we were moving in January and wanted service cancelled at that time. They told us the amount to pay to cover November through our our moving date. This was paid in November. We are now getting calls for Money owed . They now tell us we didnt sign a cancellation letter which was never mentioned. After being a customer for 15+ years and never late with a payment .

      When we had NO security cameras working at all - our ****************** went without any security for 5 days because they could not get anyone to service our business.We dealt with a burglary 1 yr prior (with CPI cameras then) and the thieves were successful in stealing checks from office and forging them successfully, stealing a vehicle - and the cameras didn't work.Then when we dealt with no security system for 5 days then they sent a man from 3 hours away (he drove from *** to **** he STILL did not fix everything. The system continued to beep nonstop. Very annoying when people try to talk to customer on the phone and the loud beeping has been on for days upon days.Icalled CPI and they sent over a doc to release us from the contract after I complained and had to act terrible for hours and said CPI was in breach of contract for not providing us services we signed up for and they released us from contract with them.CPI has continued to send collection letters to us. I have invested 15 hours calling CPI to talk to various people with promises this was a mistake, they would fix the paper issue.I even called *********************** and spoke with him and he assured me that some lady at CPI would take care of this. NOTHING. I left this "lady" two voicemails, held for over 40 minutes one time - nothing. I run a business, am a mother - WHO HAS TIME FOR THIS incompetency??While I am writing this review to warn everyone about CPI's scams and lies - I have missed 3 business phone calls bc I am holding on the phone to wait for someone to speak to me at CPI Security.Do NOT use this company. Now my credit is going to be potentially messed up all because they have some stupid messed up paper ********** is not a company to be trusted. I will not pay a *****. We were out of contract and the time invested to get NOWHERE with this company is proof they run a scam. They do not provide services they make you sign a contract for. RUN from them. Use another security company.Ashley

      I do not think it is right to continue making a payment for more seventeen months for a service that I am not using even if you have requested me to leave all the equipment in a house that I just sold and in my new address you are not providing the service in my location. You are asking me to pay for the equipment that I left in the other house, and I am not using. I have not the power to ask the new owner to continue doing business with you I can suggest but I cannot obligate them to use it. I need your help in this matter, when I am calling you, I can hear all kind of responses and/or the putting me in hold or hanging up the phone on me. I am feeling mistreated by you and underestimated because of my race.

      Unbelievably negligent, unresponsive while selling a fake sense of home security. Ive been a paying customer for 2 1/2 years. The doorbell camera began having constant connectivity issues monthly. I called to have it serviced and it was going to take a month before a technician could come fix the issue. I made the appointment but was able to troubleshoot and restart the system so I ended up canceling due to the inconvenience. The doorbell continued disconnecting on a monthly basis. Fast forward to 10/26/2022. An altercation between a new neighbors dog and my families dog happens. I had just reconnected the doorbell earlier that afternoon but was concerned for my families safety and called CPI. I informed them of the situation that had just happened as well as the ongoing problems with my doorbell. I ask them to please make sure the system is up and running while stating especially the doorbell camera. The woman reset my system and said everything was connected. Fast forward literally 1-1/2 hours, my neighbor begins acting erratic with his truck, speeding up to and past my house multiple times. I call 911 and say Im being threatened and I need assistance. Once they arrive and the situation has been deescalated I look at the officer and my wife and say, I talked to CPI tonight, our camera is working!! we have the footage but no, without my knowledge, recording space was exceeded on 9/26. I had no idea there was a limit of recordings for the following reasons: it doesnt work half the time, no constant messages saying doorbell camera is not recording and during my preemptive call with this security company, I was not informed when I said I need this system running tonight. I spoke with **** (supervisor emp #****) and **** (Customer Support Manager ext. ****** and was told this is a trainable opportunity and I could not contact anyone hire up. Unacceptable, this needs to be addressed and others need to be warned. Im determined and demand answers.

      Customers of *** *********, ** for over 21 years, and since 2017 they have been drafting our account without providing services! NO ALARM ALERT, NO REAL TIME RESPONSE, NO LIVE VOICE ASSIST, NO SPOKE ALARM, NO MOTION STAY/AWAY and NO HOME PROTECTION. Would not refer them to anyone!

      As a former employee the work conditions and the supervisors they hire for the customer care department do not care about their staff. After complaining about a near death experience from an allergic reaction from food that I purchased from their cafeteria, I was terminated two days later. In April, we had a staff die and all employees felt it due to the lack of concern from the supervisors. I could not breathe and broke out in red hives on my body and my supervisor continued to work. She never once stopped what she was doing nor asked me if I needed help or if I was ok. The company needs to do better about how they treat employees in regards to medical issues and emergencies. One I complained about the supervisor not helping me or even being concerned, they found a weak reason to terminate me. If interested in working for the company I recommend applying for other departments but ************* is not where you want to work.

      We moved out of state due to my wife's family needing help. The contract termination charge and smart pay balance altogether is ******. If *** was nationwide, it would be easier to transfer the account but the state we live in now is not covered by ***. *** has the nerve to then say, "Thank you for being part of the *** family!" Criminal Payment Insecurity is more like what *** stands for.
