While using the Take 5 carwash in ********, ** on 11/11/2023, my car was damaged due to their tire shine equipment. The conveyor belt that moves vehicles forward would not advance my car because the tire shine machine was hung up on my front fascia, almost resulting in my car being rear ended by a truck. After the incident, the onsite employee (******) made a report of the damage and said her manager ***** would be in contact. Needless to say, ***** has never made an attempt contact. I've reached out many times via phone and email to speak with someone about this, with no avail.Business Response

I paid for the $25 premium wash. This wash includes vacuum service and ingredients needed to further detail your car. They are handed out at the vacuum service. There was a worker at the pay station and before the washing zone. No one told me the vacuum center was completely closed since the vacuums didnt work. I would not have paid for a $25 wash to get the most basic service that is much cheaper. I want a refund. I did not get the services I paid for. The employee should have told me the vacuum center was closed and to pay for the basic wash. I left a voice mail with the location and they never called back. I contacted the headquarters and they said that they can only give a refund at the location. I was driving through and do not live there.Business Response

On June 2nd, at approximately 10:50am, I went through the "Take5 Carwash" also known as Carwash *** located on North Highland in ***********. A wooden desk came out of the truck bed in front of me while I was in the carwash. I knew something was wrong but could not see and did not know what had happened until I exited the carwash and looked under my car. I immediately went to the manager, ****, and told him what had happened. He sent an employee over to write it up and told me to get 2 estimates and turn them in to him. I did this within the week. I was told the check for having my car repaired would go directly to the **************** since they had the lowest bid. I went by to remind **** and ask him where the check was multiple times. He finally gave me the number to his District Manager, ************************* ********************************* **************). I have spoken with ******* on September 6th and again 1 month later. He gave me the same answer both times: He said that they had turned my claim along with "all of the others" over to another business and that I would get my check with they got to it. He implied there was a line! Today is November ********* have checked with **************** and they have not received the check. I am afraid that they have no intention of paying for this. The repair at Lexus is $865.61. I hope you can help me. Also, the amount I put down below as money I paid to the business is the $29.99 that I have paid per month since July of 2021 for unlimited car washes.Business Response

The customer stated the last time the her and the DM spoke that the repair shop hadn't been paid .The DM visited the dealership today 11/16 and was told by the repair shop that the customer has not brought the vehicle to be fix and couldn't take payment for the repairs until they did so . Last time we spoke it was stated by the customer that the repair shop hadn't been paid. But when the DM visited the repair shop today they stated they can't take payments till the work is done .So they are waiting on the customer. They also said they will reach to the customer about getting the vehicle in to repair it. And would reach out to the DM when the customer brings the vehicle in and it's done

He would not leave a check. I don't understand why when I was told that ***** would receive a check and then they would fix my car. I have an appointment next week to have my car repaired and they have his credit card number. After that, which is Wednesday, November 28th, they will run his credit card number through at that time. Double (or triple) charging me for MONTHS! Was checking some bank statements when I noticed for the last five months this car wash has been double charging me (three times in November). It all started when ******** Wash changed over to Take 5 Car Wash. I pay for a monthly service for their car wash. The first day of the switch I showed up and my old tag on my windshield wasnt letting me in. The employee told me it should have but he said since the switch, he had system issues. He asked if I minded pulling around and coming in the office to just create a new account under the Take 5 system. I said sure, and he confirmed that the old account since its no longer Coast would be cancelled and wouldnt charge me. I trusted him and had no reason to check my bank statements. Fast forward and this car wash has now overcharged me ******! I stopped in the office and employees were friendly and gave me an email to reach out to. Its been a month now and not even an email confirming theyve received the email and that they are looking into this. I have called and left voicemails, stopped back inmanager wasnt there but the employee gave me her email. I emailed her back and still no response. I have heard from other customers that also have this same issue. I have been very patient with this situation but I seem to be getting nowhere.I can provide bank statements to prove this. I had purchased a car wash from this business as it was a subscription. It cost me twenty dollars a month. As I was exiting the car wash they have huge potholes that I was not made aware of by the business or the employees. I had to replace two tire pressure sensors on my vehicle totaling around $100 dollars. These pot holes are very evident as you are exiting the car wash. I have tried to contact them and when talking to the manager she assured me that she would make it right. This was over a month ago and I have not seen a check for the repairs nor have I heard from Management. I would like the monies for the repairs reimbursed to me as the employees did not disclose that potholes would be present when exiting the car wash.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have visted the car wash and the manager has had me fill out an accident form and that was over three weeks ago. I have had no communication from the business at this point in time. I have had two tire pressure go out becuase of the pot holes and nothing has been done to recitify the error that has been made. I have tried numerour times to reach out to the business and nothing has been done to fix the ongoing issues. I would like to be refunded for both tire pressure sensors. I noticed a $39.99 monthly charge to my bank from Take 5 Car Wash that has been in place since July 2023 and i did not authorize this or sign up for any monthly membership so i need those charges to all be refunded and for this to be canceled. my card has been charged five times since july 2023. so they all need to be refunded and this "membership" canceled. i never signed up for a membership. i never filled any form out or signed anything for a membership. i do not have a pass card or anything. i was charged $39.99 in july 2023, august 2023, September 2023, october 2023, and november 2023. i have chatted on their chat care before and nothing was ever done. i have emailed the customer care email address and nothing has been done. i have called the number on the website and it is impossible to get to a person to talk to. this is theft and absolutely unacceptable.Business Response

This company charged my debit card for an unauthorized charge. I used this establishment for a single car wash on Sept 2023. On November 18th this company randomly charged my card for $33.99. I spent days attempting to call company either you are sent to voice mail never responded to or told to go to their web site and mail which they also do not respond too. I finally after last attempt drove over to this carcass they own and talked to manager. He apologized and canceled the autopsy for some program. He said he was unable to issue credit had to come from corporate and as you can see that is never going to happen. As far as I can tell this company is a scam and fraud.Business Response

You purchased a car wash membership for $0.99 on August 26. This was an introductory rate that rebilled at $39.99 per month. I see that you did not return to the car wash after that. I actually billed on the 26th of the month for September, October, and November for a total of 119.97. I have cancelled your membership and refunded those payments. Signed a contract for unlimited car wash/self detailing services. Total monthly cost, after taxes, total $21.44. For the months of August, September, October and November, business took 2 payments monthly totalling $171.52 2when total should have been $85.76.September extra payment was returned 2 days after initial double payment was taken. However, double payments were still taken in August, October and November totalling $64.32 in unauthorized monies being taken.I notified Take 5 customer service of the error on 11/14/2023. On 11/21/2023 I again spoke with ****** at customer service to follow up on the refund request. I have not received a response from the business as of yet.Business Response
