      Hoover promised me a replacement for my defective vacuum and stated it would be an upgraded model since the original UH71009V was discontinued.What I received was the exact same model: same UH71009V vacuum, same packaging, same defect history. I now have two identical boxes with photos and video showing proof.This is deceptive warranty handling. The unit they sent is already showing hose failure and non-functional suction, just like before.I demand a true replacement a different, upgraded model or a full refund and a written warranty extension. If not resolved immediately, I will escalate to the Attorney General, ***, and pursue public consumer protection action.

      I am happy to try to help. Our warranty process will replace with the same model, when available, but I am happy to replace with UH75260V High Performance Swivel XL ($179.99)- 5 year warranty will transfer to this unit, from the original purchase date of February 2024.
      Can you confirm that the new unit is still in its original box, and can be shipped back?  We will provide a prepaid shipping label.

      Thank you for your response. However, I must object to how this matter has been handled. 

      Your representative explicitly informed me that my original vacuum model was no longer available. Based on that information, I agreed to receive a replacement that would be a true upgrade — not the same defective model I had already been struggling with. It was made clear in our discussion that this was to avoid the repeated inconvenience to me (as a disabled single parent) and your company. 

      Yet, despite these representations, I received the exact same model you claimed was no longer available. This is not only highly disrespectful, but in my view constitutes deceptive business practice and a bad faith handling of the warranty. 

      Please note:  
      - I am entitled under the North Carolina Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the FTC Act, and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act to a warranty process that is honest and fair.  
      - I am not obligated to accept a product that was misrepresented to me or that does not resolve the ongoing defect issue.

      I am requesting that you immediately:  
      ? Provide a replacement that is a **true upgrade**, meaning a more durable, reliable, and appropriate vacuum given my circumstances.  
      ? Provide documentation confirming that this upgraded unit will not reset or shorten my warranty rights.  
      ? Provide written confirmation that you will cover all shipping costs associated with resolving this matter.

      If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 5 business days, I will:  
      - Escalate this to the NC Attorney General’s Office for deceptive business practices.  
      - File formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and any other relevant oversight body.  
      - Consider small claims action if necessary.

      Our warranty process will replace with the same model, when it is in stock. I am sorry for the confusion or misspeak by the representative. We are pulling the call(s) to coach the representative, but I am happy to replace with UH75260V High Performance Swivel XL ($179.99)-5 year warranty will transfer to this unit, from the original purchase date of February 2024.       I purchased a Hoover WindTunnel Tangle Guard vacuum (Model UH71009V) in February 2023. It failed and was replaced in October 2023. The replacement vacuum is now also failing. The engine cuts off randomly, the hose doesnt stay locked in, and there is no suction in the hose all documented in three separate videos.I submitted a formal warranty claim along with videos and a detailed written request asking for a more reliable replacement. Despite providing all documentation, Hoover responded that it would take 25 weeks to process. This is unacceptable.Last time, they honored my warranty and shipped a new unit the same day. This delay is causing hardship. I am a single father with two young children and a spinal injury. I rely on this vacuum for daily cleaning, and their delay is actively hurting my household.I am requesting a prompt resolution and a replacement with a better, more reliable model. I have all emails, receipts, and videos available if needed.

      Oh, it was a serious burden how long they took to process it and however, I have to wait to have it sent when last time not too long ago when the same model vacuum went out, they sent it to me in less than two days and handle everything in one day

      On 6/3/25 I purchased a Hoover PowerDash Advanced Carpet Cleaner, order ******, 1st payment through ****** charged $36.84, for total $147.38. Several phone **** today refused to process cancellation as item did NOT ship, & I found item locally. With vague promises of 13 days later, Now a phony tracking that ***** has not picked up ************ to shut me up. It didn't work Hoover is committing consumer fraud.

      I incorrectly selected the wrong company on claim # ********.This submittal is the correct company.The issue is the same.Dirt Devil does not support my claim. The product BD30005 does not work properly. It is less than 2 years old. They have a 2 year warranty but require a receipt. Does any of use retain a 2 year receipt? I have sent them a video of the defective hand held vacuum but that was not sufficient. Also the unit is in great shape but does not work properly. It is not about the money *****, it is about their lack of customer service they offer, no part replacement, no repair.Please help.Please help

      I am rejecting this response because no one would retain a 1.5 year warranty in my estimation.

      Also, I purchased from Big Lots and they went bankrupt. 

      Big Lots are beginning to reopen stores but getting a receipt from them will be impossible.

      Please reconsider the request. 

      If you give me a discount would it be 50% plus. A 15% discount is not sufficient.

      I am rejecting this response but ask only that Dirt Devil  in the future have better customer relations and goodwill.

      As of this time, I will never buy a Dirt Devil product again, and if asked about ****** products will steer people away from Dirt Devil.

      it is unfortunate that a ***** product can cause such frustration on the customer and leave him such a sour taste regarding with manufacturer.

      Dirt Devil looses, not me. *******,  Eureka  etc are very pleased with your action and they thank you.

      I purchased a Hoover OnePwr Cordless Stick vac a year and a half ago and it just stopped working last week. Just died and will not power on. The vacuum has a 3 year warranty. I contacted Hoover and they made me send them 1st, a video of it not working, then 2nd a video of the charger working, then 3rd, a photo of the back of the battery.       Hello, I received the replacement vacuum today and they sent me an far cheaper and inferior model.  I'm assuming mine is no longer made, but this model is NOT an equivalent (See attached)  I had the more expensive and better performing Blade Max and they sent me the Inferior Emerge as a replacement.       We bought a Hoover SmartWash Pet Automatic Carpet Cleaner Machine back in November of 2024. It worked great until mid April 2025 when it no longer would spray any water. I contacted Hoover Support, on April 23rd, and after hours on the phone they sent me two emails. One to provide them with the receipt of purchase (which was already uploaded at time of registration) and a second one to provide an short video of the issue. I attempted to send a short video (18 seconds long) and their email server rejected it as being too large. My husband then added the video to DropBox and added a link to the email requesting the video and sent it to Hoover. On April 30th, Hoover Support responded again asking for the video, which we cannot send as their email server will not accept it due to size constraints and we provided an alternative means for them to get the video. Not to mention, the video is only going to show them that no water is spraying out of the machine rendering it useless. We are requesting a replacement be sent out to us and if they want the non-working one back, then they need to send us a shipping label along with the new one so we can box up the old one and ship it back.

      I purchased a brand new Hoover ONEPWR Smartwash Cordless carpet cleaner machine on December 12, 2024. The machine worked for about a month or so. I noticed the machine was making a humming noise and not drying. I contacted Hoover and was advised the machine has a 3 year warranty. I was provided information for a service center in *******. I was also provided with ticket #***********. I took the machine to Buckhead Vacuums ************** on 3/22/25. On 4/10/25 I received a call from the service center stating Hoover is denying the claim. When asked why the *** told me he was unsure and that the machine should DEFINITELY be covered. This is unacceptable considering Ive had the machine less than 5 months and its not working. This machine cost me close to $300. Hoover should stand by their products and honor their warranties. I would like to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible being that Ive been without a working cleaner for some time now. I provided all the required info to the service center.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      The cleaner was purchased brand new in the box. No matter whether or came from a Hoover store or not the warranty should still be valid. A warranty is a warranty regardless especially when the item is new. Hoover can easily verify the original purchase date based on the serial number. If the warranty is 3 years it should be honored. This is a fraudulent process to not honor a warranty on a brand new machine. Thats just like  saying if a person received a brand new Hoover product as a gift and are not the original purchaser if something goes wrong with the unit within the specified warranty period Hoover wont honor the warranty. Its not right and its a bad business practice. Hoover products are not cheap so you would expect a better process with customers and the warranty. I am not pleased and do not accept this non resolution. Theres nothing outside the box prior to purchase or prior to opening the product that states there are stipulations on where the item is purchased that allows Hoover to not honor their warranty.

      After dealing with a malfunctioned vaccuum and calling Hoover customer service, I noticed that no one could point me to a manager, a corporate office or even a phone number and address for one. Every customer service representative said they were in *********, **, but no one could tell me who owned Hoover or any identifying information. The phone numbers given only lead to 3 options on an automated message and all 3 options go back to representatives who speak broken English. It seems bizarre, like Hoover does not exist. One phone number given said it was a company called *******, not Hoover. No manager, no CEO, no American English-speaking person. I don't think the company exists, but somehow they are distributing vacuums. Please investigate. Thank you!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      My concern is not about the product or the service of the product; my concern is about the lack of identifiable information about the company to the public.

      Hoover needs a website that says it is now owned by ***. It needs to give the names and numbers for management of Hoover products (not just a customer service number). For all I know someone in a garage is selling used products to the public and pretending to be Hoover ***resentatives. The public wants to know where Hoover products are manufactured, what products are available and who is responsible for decisions about sales, manufacturing and distribution. 

      Every phone number associated with Hoover leads to a non-American sounding sales *** that cannot seem to understand my American English accent. No number is given for management if the company.
