      I would give zero or negative stars if I could. We spent almost $300 on a vacuum ordered directly from them. Used it maybe 5 times over the course of a month or so before the roller stopped spinning and we started smelling burning rubber. Tried ***eatedly to call CS and they were never open during their posted business hours. On one call I held over 30 mins and never got a *** on the line so I gave up and sent an email. Got an email back with self-service ***air instructions. I responded that this vacuum was defective and I wanted a refund or ***lacement and we emailed back and forth a couple of times before they sent me a denial because it was over 30 days. Its very disappointing that they only guarantee their items for 30 days especially considering the cost. From the looks of it, I should have checked this page first and saved myself this frustration.

      I purchased a hoover smart wash+ 3 years ago because of its 5 year legally binding warranty. When the motor started smoking and froze up, I was happy to contact hoover for what I expected to be a seamless and easy customer support experience. They eventually sent me a new one, but let me express how much time and effort it took to fight this. Over the span of 2 months I called almost everyday with no response, requested call back info, and saved email threads from 2 seperate email addresses in order to have proof of my efforts in the case of small claims court. I also documented the date, time, and resolution of each call. This was not about the money, it was about the principle at this point. I was fed up. I eventually reached out to TTI floor care (a chinese based company that utilizes the hoover name for brand recognition) and I immediately received a response when the terms "legally binding" and "escalation" were mentioned. They then followed up with the warranty process steps and sent me a new carpet cleaner. This should have been done 2 months earlier at the first contact attempt. It was a nightmare experience. I will never buy any product from the *** umbrella company again. These include: HOOVER, DIRT DEVIL, ***************, VAX, HOMELITE, ***, ORECK, and RYOBI. I used to love many of these brands, but if you want consistent communication and a great customer experience, I would look elsewhere. To reiterate, they did eventually send me a new carpet cleaner, but it was as difficult as pulling a mountain with a ***** civic. *** is a huge company, there is no reason why they cant invest more resources into customer care. They will respond to this post with "sorry, we sent you a new unit," but it is obvious that they are not sorry due to their lack of movement and change in their customer service strategy after many years of consistent complaints and a 1 start BBB rating.

      I bought a Hoover Vaccum with an extended warranty. I have been trying to contact Hoover for over approximately 50 days. I have emailed them and still no answer. The vaccum cleaner is not working. I am truly disappointed in Hoover and will never spend money on their product again..

      You would hope that a company in business as long as Hoover would have excellent customer service; otherwise how have they been around this long? I had truly the worst customer service experience. Brand New machine came broken so I reached out to support. They only work 9-3 EASTERN time so being in mountain time means 7-1. And only M-F so good luck contacting them, especially if you're on the West Coast. Then actually getting a hold of someone is a whole other deal. I waited hours to get through. When I finally created a ticket, they asked that I send them my proof of purchase and said they'd get back to me in 3-4 business days. I've had the machine more than two weeks and it still isn't taken care of. I would not recommend anything Hoover because of it breaks or you're seeking warranty help, you won't get it.

      **************** is nonexistent. Ive been trying to get help with brand new unit. It leaks from top solution tank. I dont care what time of day it is customer service is always either closed or Ive been on hold for over 20 minutes. I cant always spend my whole day waiting and listening to stupid recording.

      After several email exchanges, no one has expressed any concern about the inadequate service Ive received, but I have reiterated that I am highly unsatisfied with my experience. My initial disappointment with this companys unprofessionalism was when I mistakenly ordered this item instead of the battery only. I emailed the company within 5 minutes saying that I ordered the item by mistake, if they could please cancel the order and not ship it. I was told it was impossible for the order to be canceled (again, I had placed it 5 minutes prior), but that I could just ship it back if I didnt want the item. I then read their return policy on their website which states return shipping must be paid by the customer, a specific piece of paper had to be printed, marked with the order number, and attached for them to accept the return, etc.I printed out the paper and filled it out, attached it to the package they sent me, and paid roughly $20 to have it shipped via *** on May 25th. I reached out to the company about it after over a MONTH of no updates. After providing the order number (which I had written on the specific piece of paper that must be attached to your return, as they require) the company was unable to tell me if my return was received or any information about the status of the return. Instead, I was told I would have to go out of my way to provide them the *** tracking number to prove that the company did in fact receive my return. I called *** and got the tracking number, which showed it was signed for by their team member, *******, on May 30, a month prior but this information was somehow unavailable to them (even though the order number was attached to the return). Only after I proved that my return showed it was delivered via the *** tracking number was I told my refund would be processed in 7-10 days.I am seeking a refund for my return shipping costs and have been on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes so far trying to speak to someone.

      I bought a Hoover carpet cleaner. Everything was fine until I lost the little red filter that goes in the dirty water tank. I go on their website, locate the part, and order it. We're talking about a small plastic tube that is 1-1/2" tall. For $15 (including $10 for shipping) I think to myself awesome, an easy fix that's relatively affordable. The package arrives today and the box is massive. Inside is a whole canister for an upright vacuum.You can't get ahold of anyone via chat or phone to fix the problem and I absolutely refuse to ****** with another order. I'll be ordering one off of ***** but this was my first and last Hoover product.CARPET WASHER DIRTY WATER TANK FILTER FOR POWERSCRUB XL is what I ordered and I got a cannister for a "High Performance Swivel."

      I've tried to contact this company by phone and chat. No one answers the phones or chats. Get recording about office hours 9:00am to 3:00pm. Tried 3 days in a row. Finall got Honey from Hoover. We typing what was wrong with my vacuum. While I was typing. She ended the chat. Chatted withe her for a total of 45 seconds.This company has gone down the toilet. They do not value customers. If the keep it up. They will go busy.

      I purchase a Power Scrub Deluxe carpet cleaner on 2/6/2024. I did not get an email that the order went through. I called them on 2/7/2024. They can't find the order. I aked if I can place it. The carpet cleaner was ****** and I had a 20% off coupon so it was ******. I still had the total on my computer calculator. They said they can not honor that. I said well will you honor the****** price that it was? She said no we can do ******. I said the price was ****** with out that coupon. I told her Amazon has it for ******. She said I can't do that only the ******. I am really disapointed in a company that I have done business with before, and thought they were really fair and kind.
