      The door is under 10 years and looks terrible. Very expensive custom double door as seen in pictures. **************** not helpful. Terrible quality. Terrible customer service.

      A JELD-WEN representative contacted the customer and supplied the applicable warranty for the door purchased in 2014. Although the door is no longer under warranty for the reported paint issue, the representative provided refinishing instructions and the stain color information from the original order so the consumer may procure the matching color for the door.

      Have 16 brand new Jeld-Wen windows in a new home built less than a year ago that originally had dirt coming in all of the windows that have cold air coming in. Have had two technicians out to remedy issue with no resolution have contacted window company several times with no repairs properly being made have to put plastic on inside of windows just to keep cold air from coming in.

      I placed a *SPECIAL ORDER ITEM SOLD IN FULL CARTON QTY ONLY AND NON-RETURNABLE* It was sent and nothing was special order about this. You can buy the same materials 80% cheaper from the local supply house. The materials received were not the materials ordered. The materials were supposed to match and they dont. **** win refuses to return the materials

      I purchased a custom-order Jeld-Wen patio door from *************************. All construction options we discussed did not include blind insert construction. I understood the blind inserts construction would prevent an outside observer from seeing inside the house because all floor display models/in-stock doors had blinds with edges contained inside a track. The doors I received did not. The blind edges were exposed next to the flat wedge leaving about a 1/8 gap. ***** agreed with me the door blinds did not match their stock and verified there was no options concerning blind construction. However, they said it would be a Jeld-Wen warranty case (Assigned Case #: ********). I provided required information but the Jeld-Wen Customer Experience agent stated their window supplier (OBI) did not consider this a manufacturing defect. Therefore, they would do nothing to resolve my case. Ive attached images of the invoice, receipt, examples of floor model in-blind windows, and what I received (to include a view looking inside the house). In short, I paid over $2,000 for a patio door that compromises my familys safety and security and have been told to accept it.

      The JELD-WEN door purchased by the consumer was manufactured correctly.  The display in the store is a different model than what was purchased.   JELD-WEN recommends the consumer reach out to the store to purchase replacement glass inserts of his choice.

      I am very dissatisfied with the *****WIN window service. Those windows never worked and can't stay open. Those window was installed by Lowes contract and Jeld-Wen guaranty the job will done. I paid more than $5000 for those window. I regret that I must call your attention to the faulty and poor services from *****WIN. From December till today we're exchanging email back and force. And *****WIN technician virtually took all information about size and frame those two faulty window, however I'm receiving too many emails, about Window Identification number and receipt.Again technician already saw those window and check which part needed to replace. The Lowes confirmed them that they do hold receipt and only original contract is available. After After several 20 emails exchanging back and force, nothing moving forward. They refuse to send technician and fix the job they done.

      We ordered two painted patio swing doors from *********** ******* name for products(doors) was Jeld Wen, when contractor came to house to put doors in noticed paint pulled away on the one door leaving several spots of white on the door and other door due to uneven door had to adjust the door hardware and leaves a white spot around door k*** ********** has left us with no resolutions from them because they said they didn't install the doors so they can't do anything so they passed the buck to jeld wen warranty.. so they sent us to jeld wen under warranty claim. we paid contractor $1600 to put them in and the contractor we used has been in business for over 25 years and knows what he is doing. both doors at top of inside middle of door show tight gap then widens out to the exterior about 1/2 " they have offered 3 ************ remember we paid over $5000 for these two doors, good money for them. #1 give us $400 back for both doors, or #2 send us replacement paint which isn't easy to paint aluminum doors, #3 replace the doors but we would have to pay installation again after just paying $1600 installation. we had to put doors in as doors replaced were unable to go back in. i told the repres. of jeld wen i would go for replacement doors and use the 400 they offered for installation, they did not go for that at all. . if they offered more refund back i would be willing to do and sent replacement paint. like maybe 500 per door not 400 for both and replacement paint. Or replace doors and have ********** put them in.with no additional charge for installation. This felt like a slap in the face when we purchased these in good faith i have not been back to ********** either since they did not stand behind it either. ********** and jeld wen should be held accountable. i would like to take this to tv program and warn people of this

      I ordered a complete set of Jeld-Wen replacement windows through my local ********** on 12-21-2021. The windows were delivered and installed in March 2022. Within about 3 months of installation, we noticed moisture infusion between the panes of glass in two windows which indicated that the seal was defective. Since the building remodel was not yet complete we decided to wait and see if any others did the same. The renovations were complete in March 2023 and by that time, several more windows exhibited the same issues.I contacted Jeld-Wen customer support on June 8, 2023 to file a warranty claim. The rep I spoke with was ***********************. I explained the issue and he told me it would be taken care of under warranty. Since the building was historical and the *** and *************************** dictated we had to use the original wooden frames on the front of the building, we ordered replacement glass for those windows. ***** told me that since the glass was not in their frames that they would replace the windows but not cover the labor, which was acceptable to me. I waited several weeks and did not hear anything, so I called again and spoke with another rep who told me that the claim was denied because I did not order windows with their frames, and there was no warranty coverage on them. I told her that was ridiculous and that I wanted to speak with a manager. She said that one would get back to me as soon as possible. On 7-7-2023 I received an email from ********************* who said she was "part of the customer leadership team that handles escalations", that she had reviewed my claim and they would not be covering the defective windows because "Our warranty covers windows that are built with our glass units in them as a whole window. We do not have a warranty that covers glass purchases only. " I was never told this when I purchased the windows and want the company to stand behind their product and replace the defective windows.

      The JELD-WEN component warranty only covers glass installed in existing JELD-WEN windows frames. However, as a one-time gesture of goodwill JELD-WEN has offered glass replacements which has been accepted by the consumer.

      Failed promised date which was supposed to be 11/20/2023. Spoke with Lowes about my order and spoke with JELD-WEN about the order status and no one knows for sure when my windows will be delivered. I am behind of my project because of them. I am requesting a delivery as soon as possible and 25% refund for the issues this delay has caused me.PO NUMBER *********

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      The only problem was not that they failed to deliver the window on time causing me to reschedule my contractor three times and paid him for his time when he went to complete the work and we were missing a window. Finally, the day the missing window was delivered, and the contractor was schedule again to work install the window, this came broken having to paid again to him because he could not install the broken window.

       

      I asked for a compensation for my time, lost money and because it delayed my work.

      Would keep the initial compensation of $300.00.

      We bought a new house in ****. The house was completed in ****. This house has the side slider JELD-WEN windows, which are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. The windows shown in the uploaded documents show apparent seal damage and clouding from the argon gas. Since I did not purchase the windows and don't have an invoice, I contacted the Jeld-Wen and they told me I would find a sticker in the top right interior of the window frame, that would provide them with the manufacture date, serial number, etc. Of course, these windows are ***************************************** any of these. he only stickers or decals I found are in the uploaded photos. Jeld-Wen said they could not help me without these stickers. I believe they should do everything to do to help a customer and stand behind their products.
