      I have bradycardia. I came in because I was having issues breathing and also needed a COVID-19 test. I sat in the waiting room for almost 3 hours before I decided to leave on my own. I C rather go home and die than sit and die in the waiting room. Meanwhile, another patients mothers came in demanding to be seen in 5 minutes because her son could not breathe and he was given a room. I had already been sitting, panting because I cannot breath for hours and still no room? If I knew I needed to kick and scream to get a room then I would have did that as well. Absolutely not fair to the rest of the patients that have been there waiting for hours already. I hate going here but its close. The people who work here have no bedside manner and are also rude. They should just shut this place down.

      If I could you a zero I would. I have been begging for help from my family doctor my psychiatrist and the local er for my mental health for almost 6 months and I can not get ANYONE TO LISTEN TO ME. Your new commercial is straight false advertisement because it's all lies. If I could go somewhere else I would.

      Had a surgery I'm February. They required me to put $2,000 down. They billed my insurance weird and I owed that money to my surgeon instead. Atrium has withheld my money, even after numerous complaints to their financial department. I am now going into collections due to their inadequacy. Also if you need an appointment, good luck being on their call list. They send an email to 10 people at once and if you don't respond in 30 seconds you lose it. There is no sense of urgency when you are critically ill and their ERs don't want to help you.DO NOT EVER CHOOSE ATRIUM HEALTH IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Unfortunately, they run a pretty hard monopoly in the Charlotte, ** area and you don't have much of a choice but to use them.

      I had back surgery there two days ago I use a CPAP machine for sleep I was told not to bring mine they would provide one I had my surgery and was given a defective machine that constantly quit working I ask six or seven people including supervisor's to replace it after two days of no sleep I checked myself out I was not given a wheelchair to leave in I had to find my own way out in excruciating pain if you need surgery and are on a breathing device do not go here

      The call center is useless! I called 3 times about getting refills for my RX. They told me once they would get it taken care within a couple days, next time a few days later they said they would take care of it next time they put a rush on it. I had to drive to the ************** to get it taken care of. I want to talk to my ************** not someone watching TV with kids in the background.

      I was sent several bills from atrium after having my baby. We paid all bills for hospitalization for my baby and I (over 6K). I was then sent a bill for the anesthesia for $5606.55. I was told we would not be billed for this because when I had my C section, I was given bad anesthesia and halfway through when I was still cut open the anesthesia wore off and I could feel everything and was in excruciating pain. They then gave me ********, Morphine, and fentanyl and almost overdosed me. My husband was rushed out of the room, I didn't get to see or hold my baby for 3 hours. I didn't get to do skin to skin for 3 hours. I was not able to breast feed and my baby lost over a pound the first 2 days because we didn't get him on the ****** quick enough. We figured out it was bad Anesthesia when the next C section that morning had the same thing happen to her. This was very traumatizing for my husband and I. We have called and called and left message after message trying to talk to someone about this for a month now and have got no returned calls or anyone that will talk to use about it. We are tired of dealing with it. The least you can do Is not charge us for the Anesthesia bill.

      My father was admitted to Atrium University in Charlotte, ** from the Atrium Health Urgent facility located on Mt Island in Charlotte, **. I am a pharma consultant that also works in Healthcare for one of the larger pharma companies. Just the level of patient care is horrible. The majority of the staff that we encounter with, were extremely rude and so unwilling to help. I also understand the level of push the staff is going through as I too have some of the same struggles, the tiredness, short staff, and just having to be in more than one place at a time. I get it but that is not "the patient's" fault, they rely on us for service and help. The nurses that show careless about the patient's need. There should be better possible people training or just simple customer service.

      August 13, 2022 ************************* ********* The staff that answers the phone at Sanger Pineville are wonderful. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The professional providers at Sanger Pineville are excellent. And that is where it stops. I have no words to describe how bad the is communication. Messages sent through the patient portal are not answered. Not even when they have been reviewed by the staff. It takes several phone calls and the assistance of the staff who answer the phone to get a response.OrthoCarolina sent a procedure clearance request to Sanger on Monday August 8. I sent two messages through the patient portal and an operator sent an internal message to Dr. ****** This is what I received today.Rose P12:56 PM Hi ***, I apologize for the delay. **************** will review your message and I will fax your clearance to Orthocarolina ASAP. Thank you On July 1 2022 I had my first appointment with Dr. ****** Note my previous cardiologist was ****************** who retired. I asked who was taking his patients and was told no one, the patient had to make a selection. *** ***** told me I was to make a follow up visit in September. I tried to make this visit at check out and was told the calendar was not built for September and someone would call me to make the appointment when they had they schedule. No one called.On August 12 2022 a nurse called to give me the result of my ****** monitor. The report was posted to the patient portal on August 1. The nurse said I was to call for an appointment in October or November as there were no available appointments in September.This practice provides care for heart conditions. Some of which can be life threating. Prompt and timely communication is extremely important in giving and receiving this care.

      Atrium health is great but My doctor is doctor ** and I have had several bad experiences with him.When I go to have my annual check up and He asked about my covid vaccine and I said I haven't taken it yet,his attitude changed.He start being rude and saying things like," if you get covid you won't make it and that I always change the subject when he talks to me about the vaccine. At one of my visit,he asked me about taking the vaccine and I told him that I put my faith in a higher power and he responded " I heard people saying my faith is in God but they are not looking at the bigger picture and that's when I told him that we are finished him. I have been very disappointed with him.

      I brought my elderly mother to Atruim Mercy. She is fatigued, hasnt eaten or drank in a couple of days. They let her sit in the waiting room for hours before calling her back. I understand that clients get triaged based on acuity, but there needs to be respect for our fragile population. Im disappointed in our healthcare system. Im disappointed in her primary care doctor **** Charlotte Family Physicians
