      I have been with Atrium Health from the start, previously it was Carolinas Medical Center. I have always had a pleasant experience, regardless of what medical professional of Atrium Health I have been treated by.For a patient to continuously receive medical care to their satisfaction for such a long period of time as I have speaks volume as to how much effort Atrium Health put into ensuring patients have the best experience when visiting their health care providers.I have been with Atrium Health for more than 12 years now and regardless of which doctor treated me; my Physician, Eye Examiner, GYN, or Mammogram, my experience has always been a pleasant one.I want to thank Atrium Health for empowering and holding their employees to such high standards.Thanks again *******************************

      0 Stars, absolute worst healthcare experience of my life. I was told the test I had would cost $1,206 plus the office visit. Shocked and disgusted to get actual bills totaling OVER $5,000. I've been fighting with Atrium customer service and management for over 3 months. Doctor with whom the appointment was made did absolutely nothing. Nurse conducted the 20 minute test, the P.A. read the results and emailed them to me. These charges are nothing short of fraudulent. I've been promised phone calls from management for weeks, still waiting. Avoid Atrium at all costs. Horrific care quality, grossly over priced for unacceptable care.

      I can not stress this enough, avoid atrium if at all possible. The billing department will not file your claims on time, then they will hold you responsible for claims denied for timely filing, they will hang up on you, wont call you back. I cant believe how horribly they treat their patients. My daughter is 8 months old. I still trying to get my birth invoices resolved.

      Atrium Health is the worst to deal with I have ever encountered. I have a billing error that means they owe a refund, but they simply disregard any request for a refund. I have sent supporting documents showing that United Health paid the bill, but Atrium simply does not respond. They are quick to let me know if I owe money. I have sent multiple messages on their message system with attached documents, but they never address the fact I have United Health documents to support my claim. Also, they will not use their own web site that shows the bill is paid by United Health. I have talked on the phone to a supervisor that I sent the **** of payment to and he said they would do a refund....but no refund. It is almost impossible to contact them by phone.They get a real half star.*******************

      ******************************************** is an excellent doctor, he listened to me and was very professional in attending to my needs and he operated on me and was attentive to my recovery and he also spoke Spanish with me so that I could better explain my discomfort. He he is magnificent.

      I will NEVER walk into another Atrium run office ever again !! I'm so tired of having a mask shoved down my throat !! There in NO County emergency, NO State emergency & NO Federal emergency and NO ONE AT ATRIUM HAS THE POWER TO MAKE ME WEAR A MASK !! IF they have a problem with that then tell the *** to call me !! Must be ran by a bunch of Democrats, thinking they can control the public !! IM DONE !!!

      I was at the ** yesterday for a knee injury & to detox. During admissions one of the staff members or nurses wheeled me back to ask questions. After finding out they do not take patients in for detox but they would consider checking out my knee, they wheeled me back out to the waiting room with my Mom & informed her in front of other patients in the waiting area of my personal medical information about going to a detox. This was against HEPPA privacy ************* was very humiliated. They also do ********************* and weight checks in the waiting area that is also exposing my privacy. I'm not sure why they're not doing anything about these HEPPA violations, but I feel my privacy and safety was completely exposed in the Pineville atrium ** yesterday. Also I was asked to sign documents I could not see on a digital pad & was only told what it said. I could have been signing power of attorney over to someone for all I know. I got no help in there yesterday & my Mother was very upset. I'm 40 years old with a mother who is trying to be there for me & help & a nurse wanted to talk to her in the hallway, not a private room about my PTSD, detox & medical issues. My mother has power of attorney. It's fine to speak with her but only in a private room, not the hallway where everyone can here. Our medical industry is going down the toilet with HEPPA rights being violated. You all aren't the first place I've experienced this issue with this month either.

      The administrators at Atrium got game. I was warned they would do nothing about my STOLEN belongings but I didn't listen. While I'm close to death in ER their staff is STEALING my tennis shoes. Shame on you. I called the administrators to get something done and spoke with ****** (probably a fake name they give, and she assured me that that would take care care of it. BS. She played me like a fiddle. Never did anything. She never called me back and gave me a fake number to call. My insurance paid over $225, 000 for my hospital stay and I had to walk out in yellow hospital socks. NO SHOES instead of $250 Nikes at the time. I can't even buy them for that price anymore. My advice, tell everyone you know to collect your belongings and take pictures but DO NOT DO NOT leave them unattended in the emergency room because they will get stolen by your CARE TAKERS. And the person they have claiming to care named ****** in administration who leaves the phone number on these ****** Reviews is BS. They do it to look good. NOBODY cares! Take my advice and pray you don't have an emergency in Monroe.

      Horrible! Never return calls, never will work to resolve issues. Think because they're a huge corporation, they can treat people however they want!!!!!!
