This is the second time I tried to stay at the Extended Stay in Dundee, ** first time, the front counter employee was rude as ****, but the manager did call me to understand what happened and offered a discounted price, which was great for making up for your rude staff, for some reason I had a person who was helping me check into my room with my belongings being I was going to be staying there for over two weeks, upon checking in, after I paid, the manager approach me and told me the " my husband" cannot stay here, or be on this property, never provided me a explanation or reason why, I said okay, and advised my ride, he was not allowed on their property, he left without issues respectfully. #1 I have NO HUSBAND, never been married, and when asked " what did he do" she gave me a smart remark " he knows what he did" Okay, well you're right, that has nothing to do me with. Come to 10/16/23 I reserved a stay at the Extended Stay again, with no issues, I never leave in bad standing anywhere I stay, as I was checking in, the person checking me in, stated, you not allowed to stay here anymore, I'm so lost and not understanding, of course, I speak with management, and the short, Hispanic lady with the black hair, I was ivid so I forget her name, proceeded to tell me, you cannot stay here anymore, again, I asked why, what did I do? Same rhetorical response..." You should know what you did" that ****** me off, because I know for a fact, I have never, ever done anything at a hotel in my entire life, and she said it with the nastiest, rude comment. I called corporate of course, and he advised me, that the hotel management places that restriction on your profile, so not only is the witch a LIAR she did this for no reason and I do not appreciate her lying about my name for whatever her deceitful reasoning was, but I have contacted an attorney because I have a legal right to know why she put this on my profile to defame my character in which no explanation was provided. Will not stay again at the Extended Stay America ********* on *****************. The experience was horrible. The lock would not work to get in the room. They refused to fix it and did not have another room. The ** went out, and they would not fix that with a temperature in the 100s. It has been two months since this stay, and I have not received a refund. I prepaid for nine nights and only stayed two nights due to the ** going out. It was the final issue after continuously getting into the room with a broken lock. The lock was hanging off the door, making it difficult to enter the room. As of today, 10/16/2023, I have contacted corporate number ******************* for the fifth time with ******* (Supervisor), stating no case has been created. Different reps tell me every time that the General Manager, *******, will contact me within 48 hours. Current Reference number 3 7 4 5 3 1 9 4Extended Stay America

I lived at these hotels for 5 months ********************* and Brookfield. And would like to say tosa was like living at a drug house some staff was professional some was not. ******** was the most recist place i have ever been in my entire life slender clerk made it his mission to let me and my family know we were not welcome there had to argue to get tissue and clean sheets lady next door smoked weed all day yet i was treated like the the bad guy spent over 10k in 5 mounths while my house was being worked on if your not white or Mexican u are not welcome we went threw h*** still recovering mentally Brookfield keep your shoes on even when in bed staff deos not clean rooms correctly. If u can make other arrangements this is just not right to pay to be treated like these people treat uExtended Stay America

Horrible guest experience..Paid for 7day after 2 nights, my personal belongings and clothes were taken and what was taken was thrown in the dumpster. *nly thing company did was refund money from checking in...N*THING WAS D*NE AB*UT MY PERS*NAL BEL*NGINGS, CL*THES, SH*ES, JEWELRY, PERS*NAL ITEMS WAS REPLACED. Civil suit card was given by *range county ************ also photos were taken of clothes they took from dumpster. The district manager called an apologize but , and she refund $ But what about my clothes and personal items, jewelry, shoes? Hotel had no right renting my room to someone else after I reserved a week stay. Whomever took my items should be held accountable. I still haven't got compensation for that and my reservation was on September 10, 2023 for a week..." the only reason you got 1 star is because I C*ULDN'T SUBMIT THIS WITH*UT 1 STAR...THAT'S THE * ** REAS*N... F/D clerk need to be retrained. How do you treat anyone like that? Is it a RACIAL THING? IM LEANING T*WARD THAT...Extended Stay America

Yesterday 3 ************ police officers had to show up to arrest a man for domestic violence in the room next door to me. At night time you'll have your typically meth heads doing drugs on the side of the building and dealers pulling up near the front entrance. You'll typically get a scent of marijuana smoke and odor if you try and crack open your window or walk outside to your car. Homeless/transients constantly walk near the property and parking lot, so you have to stay on high alert if you have valuable inside your vehicle. Everything echos in this property. Many of the guest are inconsiderate and will constant slam the doors. For 4 nights straight I heard a couple down the hallway constantly argue and bicker at each other, while their newborn baby would cry for a couple hours. Wish CPS was involved because there was definitely child abuse going on. Requested a refund for my stay, but it was like pulling teeth with the front desk. The workers at the front desk never seem to be there when you need to talk to them. They have no sense of professionalism and will like to project their frustration and anger onto you if you have a complaint. The room was poorly cleaned, with some stains on the bedsheets and pillowcases. Bathroom was fine, except for the toilet, looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Feet would stick to the laminate flooring, this property should invest in a deep clean. The odor in the hallways as you walk to your room smell like a combination of smelly socks, top ramen, and dirt. Better Business Bureau is definitely going to get a complaint as well. Do not give them your business at this property, felt like a prisoner here.Extended Stay America

I have not had such a bad experience at a hotel in a long long time and felt I needed to warn others. I tried to do a early check in twice (10am & 2pm pst) and was denied both times. First time I understood (at 10am), but coming back at 2pm I was greeting with ******* being as rude as rude can be telling me to read the fine print that check in isn't until 3pm and when I explained my job started at 3pm and I would like to to drop my bags off in my room, he told me, "look, I am trying to run a business. We are overbooked and I need you to stick to the 3pm check in today"... I was beyond floored to be spoken to like this. Once I returned after my working shift at 9:30pm I was told there are no rooms available. I was so upset, but sadly not shocked to hear this. I was given a phone number to their Glendale location 15m away and said, try here. I said, "shouldn't you ensure I have a room there first?" They just said, "you do". I drove over there not knowing if I was wasting my time and already thinking I was going to have to sleep in my car.Options are pretty limited at 9:30 at night. Once I got to the Glendale they had no idea who I was, but did have a room after I explained what happened. I asked for a manager as someone needed to hear my experience. I was told it was too late to call a manager. I then said, what do you do in an emergency or if you have an irate customer (like me!) The kid ignored me completely and kept booking me a room on the computer. I HATE HAVING LITTLE RECOURSE WHEN SPENDING MY OWN MONEY! Had I known how this would play out at 10am I would have cancelled my reservation immediately. Hoping my complaint saves just 1 person from the same fate.Rude, incompetence, dirty, had to request a blow dryer.... NEVER AGAIN!Extended Stay America

Wish I could leave zero stars. Worse hotel ever! Avoid the Bethpage and Melville locations. Run down. Drug addicts. Police are always at both locations. Dog pooped in the grassy areas outside. No one uses the bags. Dog urine smell in elevators. Filthy hallways. Broken washers. Theyre only concerned about the derelicts who pay. And only care about getting weekly money. Its obvious that management refuses to do anything other than that. Due to previous experience and defamation of my family name. I will be filing lawsuits.Extended Stay America

Horrible! Room smells of urine, bedsheets are spiked, unsafe environment from other guests, no front desk help at night. Was told night manager on the way to help but nobody showed. I called twice. Im ********************************* what smells like a litter box!Extended Stay America

They are terrible raciest people at the hotel. I wouldnt recommend anyone stay at this place. Yet along come visit. They are the worst place I have ever visited and stayed with and if I was able to give them less then 1 star I would. They are rude and disrespectful and they are like a click there. They dont care about their guess and or their families. If you have a problem and or a question. Then it an issues and never want to fix the problem. But quick to blame you. If I had to over rate this place it would be a negative 10. I work my a** off just to be disrespected by other and I have to suffer for it. I would never wish bad on people but I who their karma comes very soon. If I could express more in this I would. And Im not even coming from a place of hurt Im coming from a place of facts these people and company arent s*** PeriodExtended Stay America

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever visited in my life. The front desk staff are rude and refused my son and I clean towels on multiple occasions. The manager *********************************, and a staff member forced my son and I out the hotel by the police for asking for clean towels. Meanwhile I was severely sick and had to be hospitalized the next day. I was on bed rest for several days, but the manager ********************************* found a way to say I was bothering staff. I found out a lot of people are at this hotel on a homeless voucher from non-profits in the area. So I am guessing that's why they don't feel like they have to treat their guest with normal hotel service. The hotel is full of prostitutes, roaches, mold, and mice. This hotel should definitely be shut down also for fraud. I was forced out with a child three days prior to my reservation ending and was told by *********************************, I would get a refund upon leaving. I didn't receive the $281 refund or the $150 deposit back. The staff will be the cause of multiple lawsuits. There is no excuse to treat paying customers like trash, no hotel should be in business doing that.Extended Stay America
