We checked in ***, Nov 30th after my husband was released from a local hospital. First let me say, the guy at the front desk was the best thing this space has to offer. He did mention that the elevator was not working and we would have to walk. He did offer to cancel the room at the time. We were exhausted and tired and said that would not be an issue. The first room smelled like cat urine the moment we walked in. The guy at the front desk moved us to another room (327) Upon entering, the room was cold and the counters were dirty. It was late. I wiped some things down and laid down to relax and watch tv. Took about an hour for a signal to be good enough to watch tv. The next few days we were gone most of the day. Last day there. While sleeping, at approximately 5am, we heard a loud noise, I thought something fell off the nightstand. It was the headboard. It had fallen to the side. I immediately went down to the front desk. Apparently, theres nothing that can be done since we are leaving in a few hours. This is the worse experience Ive ever had at an Extended Stay & any other hotel for that matter. I have photo proof. I need someone to contact me, refund.. something! This makes absolutely no sense. I plan on calling the corporate number but its way too early and Im up, 4 hours too soon, packing to leave.Extended Stay America

Run run as fast as you can!!Not bad for a one night stay but buyers beware, you may have some unwanted creepy crawler guests staying with you. Make sure you dont mention those unwanted guests the hotel may charge you extra for them. The hotel is dirty but then again the staff looks like they just rolled in off the street, no uniforms, no name tags, no customer service, not customer friendly, and ********************** is the problem shes too busy with just sitting around all the time to actually manage her staff.Hotel staff is too busy monitoring the drug deals and keeping themselves happy with the weed they smoke in the back stairwell or outside either entrance.The hotels description claims to have a complete work area, just one minor issue there are no chairs in the room nor the hotel. I guess what they offer and what you get are 2 totally different things. I guess if I was high or drunk at work I could come up with several different stories as to why there are none available. The tune, toilet and sink in the bathroom were disgustingly dirty. I would have asked the staff or management to clean but did it myself, since they were the ones who supposedly cleaned the room prior to me checking in.If I were you I would book a room somewhere else. The best western plus down the road is great and comparable ********* may be locally convenient but the unwanted cockroaches of guests is not a welcome convenience, especially if they get into your luggage and you take them home with you.Think twice and search the area for something else before booking here. Other posted reviews are spot on with the poor quality and lack of friendly customer support and service.******* was the diamond in the ****. She is friendly, provides professional customer support and care, and is always willing to help you out with anything. Truly a gem. The other staff members and management should take a page from her book, they would learn a lot.Extended Stay America

This is a half way house for the graduates of the drug center next door. ****** maps doesnt show the place as a drug rehab center so we thought it was a school based on ****** images. When we arrived at Extended Stay America, *********************************************, we found that there was no lobby and keycard access only. Beer bottles are stacked on top of the trash cans outside. Doors didnt operate correctly because the maintenance guy wasnt working. Some doors were left open because of this. My toilet didnt flush. A guest said she was on parole. There was a cockroach in my shower. Im stuck here and its truly disgusting. I heard the clerk at the counter arguing with someone about who doesnt have an ID! And I truly hope the person was not allowed to rent a room without an ID. The manager in question smelled very strongly of marijuana and acted high. There were cardboard remnants of a homeless person on the sidewalk. I will never visit ********** again.Extended Stay America

RE: Ticket#******** - Ive provided *** ELM-****** mgrs ************* asking for ticket resolution. This is less than professional, it is cruel. Ticket #******** is still pending. What role do you want this company to play in the story of my son's life as he sits in a hospital bed? I will be sharing the level of stress related to this hotel experience. *** has erroneously & callously caused INDESCRIBABLE financial difficulties that are directly related to the overcharges. ELM-****** is refusing to correct the folio. As a mother, an Elmhurst resident & a patron of the hotel, I am disgusted. My son has been in-patient at ********************* for multiple weeks now, and its not over. *** Elm-****** has failed to honor the promos. I am being overcharged rates as a Perks member. There have been NO benefits from this hotel stay. The Perks program is NON-existent. The 1st floor hallways smell like human and animal excrement. People will allow their dogs to urinate on the walls, outside of the rooms in the main hallways. I care for all room cleaning. Our room is most likely the cleanest room in the hotel. I pulled out the refrigerator, cleaned walls and underneath. Ive scrubbed the food off from walls, the fridge inside and out, & the cabinets. The bathroom had not been cleaned & the ceiling was scary. I took care of it. All corners of the roomeverything. Water would not drain. I've resolved those issues. ***yet we are being charged a rate that is a slap in the face. Local ********** mgr have not been able to function properly in their role. I have no trust that *** will Do The Right Thing & honor the promotions after all of this time. *** is price-gouging disabled individuals. The ads of being a welcoming place during medical crisis is an absolute FARCE. I am working with local churches/charities to help pay for the overcharges to avoid homelessness. We have no $ for food. Because of the ***, my family will have no holidays. Will anyone at *** resolve the ticket??Extended Stay America

Give me my security deposit back thieves and you put a late checkout fee on my bill twice when I only checked out once and it was at 9:05am 11/18/24. Check your cameras. I had to wait on the front desk opening late to checkout. Zero communication. Terrible.Extended Stay America

Horrible manger named ****** raises her vioce to everyone and talks down to people with such a disgusting attitude. She also doesn't know how to be a manager, doesn't even come in dressed very unprofessional, and she doesn't listen at all just ignores people. Charges the wrong prices even tho she has acknowledged that they need to be changed but wont adjust them and goes into the system and changes all the pricing without tell you anything about it. She will hand out important documents to guests with wrong pricing on it and wrong spelling of names. This location needs a new manager that can talk to people and understand how to use the computer right. Location in ****** ******** needs corporate to see how unprofessional ****** is and how she puts guests down. I have heard that she even like to brag that shes mean to everyone and that she's done it to so many people that corporate would never do anything to her beacuse she untouchable. If thats the type of people extended stay america wants representing them then thats ridiculous to me. Hope others speak out about her shes just gonna end up getting more and more guests angry at the hotel.Extended Stay America

We have an employee who stays with *** Suites / Fashion Valley - ********* (RM#***) for the last 2 years and it's been great until now, November 2024. Our monthly charge is $1936 and I always call the hotel and speak with the front desk person (Destiny) to charge my card for Rm#***, however this time, the new Manager (********* ****) charged my credit card an additional charge of $2200 on top of what I had already paid $1936 for month of November 2024 without ANY authorization, call, or email, she just took it upon herself to charge the credit card an additional $2200. When trying to get a hold of her (********* ****) they say at the hotel that they do not know when she comes in and no phone number to get in contact with her.... I've also contacted their corporate offices to make a complaint about her and that she's committing fraud by charging my credit card for any amount she'd like without any prior authorization or even a call. I hope that they investigate this situation and take it seriously.Extended Stay America
