    Bright speed the absolutely terrible. I was just told I'm enrolled in an old plan where after one terabyte of data, they throttle service. This was never explained to me. I was then further told by one representative that adding a second line was included in my current plan, but got disconnected mysteriously. After connecting with a second agent, they tried to charge me even more than I'm currently paying in my current plan for a second line. I barely reach 3mpbs even at 1 am; there's no way I'm paying $110 for service. This company is a sham!

    I am a disabled and had CenturyLink then bright speed took over and my bill is now 140 where it was 50 I live on fixed income what is the deal how can you increase my bill with out my concent my service only works 50 percent of the time Rose

    Same as everyone else it seems, Century Link was the ish and Bright Speed aint worth your hard earned money. If it wasnt for the fact that as of right now I cant find another service I would have been switched to something else where I live we have no service so for the most part we have to rely on WI-FI but WHAT WI-FI???!!!

    Terrible internet service. 3MBPS is not competent enough to even sufficiently run my basic internet web browsing half the time even when it is just one person using the bandwidth. I work from home and simple email checking is far from average. Forget running ********* TEAMS or trying to load video, this DSL access is horrendous. I REALLY need some decent internet - it is 2023, it is horrible that internet access across the U.S. is not far beyond this, give me a break. If I could give it a zero star rating I would, even a negative rating at best.

    This business should be shut down, service never worked from the beginning called to cancel service they would not take no for an answer. 20 minutes on the phone with the representative repeating himself the same offer for service even tried tricking me into clicking a link to activate service after being told more than 50 times to cancel the service. Finally hung up the phone called back got another person which was very helpful and finally got my service canceled do not do business with this company!!!!!

    By far thee worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. *** spend numerous hours and attempts to resolve one issue and still dealing with the same issue. Do not waste your time with this company, period.

    CenturyLink was bad. Bright speed is worse. Poor customer service. Don't know anything told me my computer can not more than 5 feet from my wireless modem or won't work. Modem drops off all the time. They say nothing wrong. Down load speed varies between .01- *****. most times can't get more than 3.4. I have 15 mg subscription. Just because they don't see a problem on there end they won't do anything to fix. Modem keeps going down and then internet won't work. If you have a choice don't use bright speed (aka CenturyLink) the only reason they got 1 star is they won't let me do 0 stars.

    I thought century link was bad. Brightspeed is worse. CONSTANT service outages and there is no way to contact corporate to lodge a complaint or get any resolution. All calls go straight to offshore call centers who are of NO help. I have a big issue paying for service we may or may not be able to use. College students live in my house and need internet for assignments. Service out since yesterday. Was told it would be restored yesterday 8pm, today still no service. Options are limited in my area but I will be looking for other providers who are reliable, reachable, and care about customer service.

    Where do I start. Have been dealing with Brightspeed for 5 months. I dont think any one of the customer service reps are in the **. Cant understand them. Have called at least 20 different times and have done everything they tell us to get internet at our new construction home. There is a power box in our front yard, yet they claim they cant find our address. They tell us to get 911 service, we did that. I could go on and on. BBB, please help!!!
