Although moving can be a difficult endeavor, I found that A Plus Moving Group made the process easy and stress-free. They were a highly professional and competent staff from the first consultation to the last delivery. They gave me a thorough relocation plan that was customized to meet my demands, and they carried it out perfectly. Their effective packing and unpacking services, which helped me save a ton of time and work, really pleased me. My new house was hassle-free to settle into because of A Plus Moving Group. Quite bad. Quoted $9,500 for a move from ** to ** and ended up paying just over $15,000. This is despite removing a queen size bed and all my outdoor furniture from the initial estimate. Initial estimate was based on **** cubic feet, they claim I needed ***** (they filled up a ***** cubic foot truck at pickup so okay). Then charged me another $***** before delivery because my things needed to be transported from an 18-******* to a smaller truck based on my address. This was news to me, despite providing them with my address months ago...hmm At dropoff they showed up with a **** cubic foot truck! All my things were in there, funny how that works. You have to pay before they unload so you are hostage at that point.Lastly, multiple things were broken upon unpacking. Just don't use them. Only reason its 2 stars and not 1 is because the actual workers were pretty good. The business people are bad and liars.A Plus Moving Group

We would like to clarify the situation to provide better insight into our process.Our drivers evaluate the ability to fit a truck at the destination using maps and other relevant information. However, we understand that these assessments may not always be entirely accurate. The mention of a shuttle and the associated cost was indeed an estimate and a suggestion based on our initial assessment. We apologize if this information was not communicated clearly and in a timely manner.A shuttle service is required when a tractor trailer is unable to access the residence at origin or destination allowing the completion of the pick up or delivery of the shipment. A shuttle fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the move, this disclosed on the original estimate that if the customer's destination cannot accommodate a 53' tractor trailer, the customer will be charged a shuttle fee. The customer was referred to our claims service provider CSI to file a proper claim as required by the law. The customer was sent login information on 07/26/2023 to file a claim online. Up to date no claim has been received. Once the claim is received it will be analyzed in the order it was received and compensation will be offered based on our legal liability and within the time frame allowed by law. I should have read its bad review before I hired them to move my furniture from ********* to *******.I paid them $12000 in total. The shipment was delayed about 10 days to arrive and I was told I can deduct $200 from the remaining balance upon delivery and the rest to submit the claim. During the delivery the movers got into an argument with the driver and left abruptly without completion of the job. they simply dumped many things in our ********* filed a claim notice for the following: a missing extendable ladder, a broken office chair wheel, a broken night stand, an incomplete delivery, scratches on my table and ***** and wrinkles on my leather sofa due to high temperature in the truck and long moving time. The claim process took about three months and the reimbursement is only $150 and I essentially was offered "take or leave it" attitude. I took it since I know this will be all I get unless I *** them which I do not have time and effort to do so. Anyway it was simply a nightmare!!!A Plus Moving Group

TIMEFRAME First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience the customer has endured during the move. It is never our intention that customers will have a less than satisfying experience.Per our Estimate and Bill of Lading governing this move, the standard delivery schedule is 30 business days to deliver after the First Available Delivery day, however, per our terms and conditions, delivery can be completed up to 30 business days from the first available date to deliver the shipment. Although we work very hard to meet our customers requested pick-up and delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable. We regret the customer felt the need to post this review and trust they are now able to better understand our position in this matter.CREW BEHAVIOR Regarding the trash and issues reported by the customer with the crew, we regret the customer had to sustain such unacceptable behavior of our ******* and/or crew. Our company policy provides for disciplinary action when such a complaint is received by a customer. The matter has been addressed by management. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! Most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. I was quoted 870 for a 5 hr move that was 11 miles from point A to B. Upon arrival, the driver informed me it would be 200 more dollars because of the gun safe. Keep in mind, my gun safe was already included in the 870 quotes inventory list. I was told if I did not agree to pay it, they wouldn't be able to move any of my stuff and we had to be out of the house by the end of the weekend. So now we're at ***** for a 5 hr move. I was also told if it took less time they would prorate the amount. It took just over 3 hrs start to finish. I called this morning to see about getting refunded the amount I had over paid. The "manager" P*** said that's not how it works and I'm not getting a dime back. He then continues to ask me, "are you that broke that you're worried about a couple hundred dollars"? Really? I've never been spoken to like that by a business let alone someone who is in a management position. To top it all off, they showed up with a half full truck and couldn't fit all of our stuff that was on the inventory list. Now I'm getting the "we'll have someone call you back" run around.A Plus Moving Group

Our MINIUM is 5 hours. Even if it takes less that that we still charge for 5. Being respectfull to the customer we can't find a crew who will work 3 hours a day.
