On 06/11/2025 after 9:30pm, I had an employee call and text my phone. The employee also knocked on my front door waking me, my wife, and 3 young children. They were gone before I was able to answer the door.Business Response

Top Tier Solar Solutions made a proposal and installed 6 solar panels on my home before getting the approval from the power company, ****. After the correction of several errors by ****, the project was limited to 2 panels. Top Tier has stopped responding to my requests for updates. Due to the delays from hearing from Top Tier, the power company has cancelled the project. However, I have started being contacted by the finance company, ******************, for payment on the original loan amount for the 6 panels. I am unable to get a response from Top Tier, ***** *****, and have asked that they cancel the project and return the payment they have received from ******************. ******** has indicated that it is my problem since they have already distributed the payout to Top Tier and eventhough my installation has not gone live. I am seeking the response of Top Tier on when they are going to return the funds to ****************** and remove the lien against my home. I am also seeking an answer to when they are coming to get their equipment and their guarantee that they are taking all measures necessary to prevent/repair any damage to my roof caused by their activity.Business Response

My solar panels havent worked since January. Ive called multiple times to schedule maintenance and the response I get is that someone from the local team will call me to schedule the appointment. They have not called. The first call resulted in the customer service representative submitting a request for reimbursement due to the excessive length of time my panels have not worked. I haven't been able to get my solar system to generate power since approval to power up on 5/27, can't contact customer service since it goes straight to voicemail, been over 4 months since install with a system that isn't working. I am now making payments on the solar panels plus my electric company. Several phone calls and texts have been made to O'**** ***** the customer succes manager, but it is hard to get any response. Had similar issues with communication with ******* *** the project manager during installation, with her only responding via text 20 mins after I finally got ahold of Top Tier Solar's customer service to let me know the project was handed to ******. I had to do diagnostic myself with the manufacturer of the solar inverter SolarEdge. They are stating that the power optimizers attached to the ** modules are not paired, which is something that I submitted to Top Tier Solar, via email and did get confirmation from ****** that he was forwarded the email on 6/1. I just want my system to work before having to make another $400 bill to solar and electric for a 2 person household.Business Response

We scheduled a service appointment for a technician to go out and service the system, and approved the reimbursement payment which was mailed out to their home via ***** today, Monday, June 9, 2025. On 06/03/2025 the door to door salesman knocks on my door, immediately takes his shoes off and begins to step inside of my home, these people are extremely shady and forceful sales people. I hope these aggressive tactics are addressed.Business Response

Our neighborhood has a no solicitation allowed sign out front, but these people keep knocking on everyones door every two weeks!! When we say they are not supposed to be soliciting, they always say we are not soliciting They simply will not stop knocking on our door!!!!!Business Response

This company harasses and badgers neighborhoods. They incessantly show up on your doorstep to try to sell you their service and even if you tell them youre not interested, they send a new employee out hoping youll change your mind. They show up multiple times a week and dont respect no soliciting signs. They should be investigated for slimy business and behavior.Business Response

On May 9 2025, 3 door to door salesmen came to our home. Upon answering the door, they were immediately unprofessional-- no introduction of who they were or why they were at our door. First asked for something to drink, after I provided them with canned water beverage, they asked if I was interested in renewal energy. I said no thank you and they quickly said this wouldn't be ugly looking like the solar panels on my neighbor's homes. They asked several personal questions and I finally provided a nickname and number as I was hoping to get a contact to speak with at the business since no business title was given. Later in the day, down our street we discovered the beverages we gave them discarded in the street. On the same day, they were shouting questions at a woman in the street walking a baby- asking if she had a spouse and where she lived so they could make an appointment to sell her solar panels. I heard from several people from this company on 5/13. I have received 3 phone calls and 2 texts to confirm a 45 minute appointment for the same day (5/13) that I did not schedule. They addressed me in one text by my middle name and in the second text by my first name-- I did not provide either of these names to the salespeople. I do not wish to work with this company solely based on these initial interactions.Business Response

This company continues to enter into our private community with signs clearly posted at all entrances stating private roads, private communities, no solicitation and only owners and invited guests allowed. Homeowners have stated to these solicitors that we are a private company and they are not allowed in our community. We actually own and maintain our streets. When told this, they just laugh and go to the next house. Our private HOA will process charges with our attorney if they return to our community again as they have been told repeatedly to stay our. We have sued other companies doing the same, and will not hesitate to file against this company as well.Business Response

I have been dealing with TopTier Solutions and the loan company ******** for over a year now. In February , I paid ********** $900 to keep my electricity on. This Friday, I need to pay $337 and another $256 to TopTier, which is set to increase to $360 per month. In (less than a year) I have paid $1944 to ********** and $3072 to Top Tier Solar Solutions $5016. This is outrageous. I was promised a tax credit of $18,000 to be applied to my $60,000 loan balance. Unfortunately, that turned out to be untrue; while it is indeed a credit, it does not reduce the loan balance.I know many of you will suggest that I "just stop paying," but this loan is attached to my home, which I have owned for 19 years. If I default, they can place a lien on my ************ Tier has admitted to underperformance and offered additional solar panels at no extra cost. They also mentioned they would reimburse me for the extra expenses I incurred due to their system's underperformance. This sounds great, right? However, it's been difficult. For months, I have had to reach out to them and have filed two complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The ** contacted me, promising to resolve the issue personally, but they denied any compensation for the additional money I had to pay ********** due to their underperformance.What exactly are they doing for me, apart from correcting their mistake by adding more panels? This issue could have been resolved eight months ago, but my complaints have largely been ignored. I have felt like the problem was treated as my fault. The head of customer service, ***, has been unhelpful; when I called in distress, he asked, "What do you want me to do?" He insisted that the system was functioning properly and that I should reach out to **********, claiming the issue was on their end. However, **** Power confirmed that the solar system was indeed underperforming. Almost a year later, I am still fighting this battle. Please scamming customers.Business Response

As Top Tier's general counsel, I am personally working with this customer on a proper resolution. Her main concern is the production of the system, and we have offered her 8 additional panels which we plan to get started on immediately. Additionally, we got her set up with a professional tax firm who specializes in the solar tax credit to review hers with her. Additionally, she is sending me copies of all of her old power bills for my review to see if any reimbursements can be made. I also committed to working directly with Ms. ******** moving forward to ensure that she is taken care of and happy with her experience with us.
