Top Tier Solar Solutions were awesome! My panels were installed within a week and I really appreciated the constant communication and updates. The entire process was long but not from the Top Tier side. The waiting was on the utility company side.

If we could give a negative star rating we would. We file this complaint due to being 5 months after installation with inoperable solar panels that has failed City inspection(**** 20th & 22nd, and a third in July 11th), we called about the inspection and the interconnection metering form with *************** have received no call back since nor updates, last called Monday July 31st, 2023, with a supposed inspection the 2nd week of August. We were also told in person, prior to signing, that we wouldnt have to pay till everything was installed and operational, but starting in **** were billed from their third party financing company, Dividend. So after Top Tier Solar Solutions/***************** Solutions, lack of customer service, professionalism, and clear disregard of time, we choose to settle for no less than the termination, cancellation, void, and nullify of the contract and loan agreement along with the removal of solar panel and **************** the restoration of the roofing and house siding prior to installation. If we could go back in time, we would have never signed.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC

They have given so many unanswered issues. Sent a complaint about gutters on my house, received calls about getting them fixed. Someone came out towards middle of June and informed me that installers noticed it, but did not mention it to me, and I was in my house. The panels were installed first week of May.Dominion came out July 31, 2023 to do whatever it takes to get solar working. The technician informed me it was not connected prperly, so I am still without solar.Tried to get these panels removed, but I feel ignored. Stuck with financial end and cannot cancel, 90 days have not passed and cannot end the ** solar deal.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC

We understand that the damage to your gutters was preexisting, but you did have a service appointment with one of our technicians to address the issues with your meter. We are now working with Duke to schedule a utility shut off in order to conduct a ****** interconnection with your system. We have you on as a high-priority service customer and are working to get this coordinate with Dominion as soon as possible. As soon as we are able to complete this, your system will be finalized. ?? Booya! Solar! It is awesome to know that I am decreasing my carbon footprint.I was referred to Top Tier by friends who recently had panels put in at their place. Excellent company with GREAT customer service. The installation was amazingly smooth and the techs were friendly and courteous. They even moved the panels over from the original plans in order to harness more energy based on my request. In addition to the techs, my project manager was always reachable if I had any questions. I highly recommend Top Tier Solar to anyone wanting to harness the sun's power.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC

1 starThis company rushed and installed solar panels on my roof (06/06/2022). I had previously set up a date with roofing contractors, the date was after the installation, but known about. I told the representative that came out that we would have a roofing contractor come out should we wait for installation and he told me that the roofers would be able to work around the panels (which was a lie). When the roofing contractors came out, they let me know that my roof was not up to par and solar panels never should have been installed and that my whole roof needed to be replaced. I also had my home insurance adjuster come out and confirm the roof needed a complete replacement. I have reached out to Top Tier solar Solutions on multiple occasions to remove the panels. When they first installed the panels my air went out for 2 weeks and I had to get my condenser serviced, it was fine the morning they installed my panels and afterwards my air didnt work. It took them almost 2 weeks just to send out the electrician and I called the next day after installation. As far as roofing contractors they told me they don't go off of what third party roofing contractors say and would send out their roofing specialists even though they were supposed to come out before installation to make sure my roof passed for the panels to be installed. That still has not happened. I went up in the attic and noticed they did more damage to my roof with the installation by cracking multiple boards. They still currently have not connected my solar panels and keep giving me the run around. I called and spoke with my project manager to have the panels removed by (07/21/2022) so I can get my roof replaced. They haven't gotten back to me and were asking for more information to be able to connect my solar panels. They have given me 2 different quotes for removal and have caused more damage to my roof while installing the panels. At this point I need them removed. Experience is very inconsistent with company. Appears internal team communication is lacking as I as provided misleading information from several different team members and communication between teams appears to be lacking as I have to provide background when talking to company, I was under the assumption that information was being documented and accessible to provide their team with the correct information.Communication from company is good with providing where in the process you are but very lacking in providing updates or solutions when there is a problem.There is lack of transparency or knowledge at times that provides untrustworthy feeling as a customer.Recently was in contact, about pricing and were unwilling to help with price when I was sold the wrong micro-invetor. Staying that the older model was actually "better" then why was is sold the new model in the first place?Timing on job has been horrible. Every time a technician comes out there is always a excuse for why the job isnt complete, like showing up to the site without the part or showing up to do what the prior technician already did and provide same information. They lack a lot of transparency and communication to provide knowledge and information. I would recommend doing your own research prior to jumping into this.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC

I was a bit unsure at first about getting solar energy, however the representatives of Top Tier Solar Solutions were very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure my family understood the benefits and value of getting Solar through them. From the installation technicians and electricians to sales representatives I was very pleased with the service. Even though the installation was scheduled for two days, the technicians worked through the pouring rain to get it completed in one day. They didn't want to leave until they were satisfied with their work. To me that's taking pride in your work, your company, and the customers they service. I felt so bad they were in the rain that I offered to get them some pizzas and soda for their hard work. As you can see, my family loves giving back for great customer service. If you're looking to get solar energy, want to invest in a solution that adds more value to you over time, go with Top Tier Solar Solutions! They are A+ in my book.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC
