    "OO" Onyx Odyessy had a vacation website to pick your vacation to go on in the 2023 year. I chose the Eygpt trip that was to take place September 2023. They sent an email regarding the flying dress photo shoot that I paid an additonal $450.00. I have payments from February 2023 through August 2023 of all payments. I received an email at the start of September that the trip was postponed for September 2024. November 2024 , I received a final email stating the company closure.

    I purchased a trip to *******, March ****. I was on automatic monthly deductions since April 2023. In November I was advised that the company Onyx Odyssey was closing their business and no refund would be given. All forms of contact with Onyx Odyssey has been disconnected. I can not call or email this company to get a refund for all payments made.

    I purchased a trip to ***** in 2021, to depart ******* in September 2023. I also purchased travel insurance with **************************** from 9/24/2]2023 to 10/3/2023. On September 6,2023 Onyx Odyssey sent an email stating the trip was canceled and to contact the insurance company for a refund. I contacted the insurance company on September 7, 2023. The insurance company want the policy from Onyx Odyssey. To this date I have emailed Onyx Odyssey several times asking for their policy and the monthly payments I made to them. Onyx Odyssey haven't responded yet. The insurance company will not refund any money without the company policy and the monthly payments I made to them. The last email I sent to Onyx Odyssey was in Oct. 2023 with no response. My policy number with **************************** is 211230RTL0416 *************) www.travelinsured.com

    I paid $3475.66 in 2022 for an ***** Trip 2023. The company emailed in late August to inquire on if I was still planning on going and also offered a $350 flying dress photo shoot; which I declined. Early September they sent an email that mentioned the trip was cancelled with no resolution other than to rebook ***** ****, another **** trip or contact travel insurance. This company knows they are scamming people because my travel insurance declined my claim due to the UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCESwith no exact reason for cancellation. I am highly upset and just want the money I paid in full of 2022. This needs to be shut down! They have deleted their website because it no longer works and are most likely operating under a new name since this isnt their first company name change. This is upsetting and I am no short $3500. Its a year later and my credit union cant do anything about it. This company needs to be stopped!

    So onyx odyssey is a black owned travel agency i booked the bora bora trip for this year but I couldn't afford it so I wanted to transfer it to the ********* trip for next year. I emailed her on November 15th I got a response back on the 16th saying that transfers aren't usually allowed but they will look into it and let me know with in 5- 7 business days. So I let about 10 business days go by to check and see what's going on because i never recieved a response back. I went on the website it's been deleted, I tried going on Instagram that's been deleted. I have know clue what's going on. I went on tiktok and several people have know clue what's going on because they have trips coming up and the company just disappeared. None of us can get into contact with them. They've also changed their name from melanin voyage to noiretrip to onyx odyssey. I believe they also went by another name

    I paid for a trip for myself and my son that was supposed to happen in September ****. On 11/27/2023 I received an email that the Onyx Odyssey stating they have closed their business and all trips are canceled. Since the trip never happened, no tickets were purchased then where is my money? I want a full refund of the money I paid to this company! Twice a month money was withdraw from my account from this company. The most recent was one week before they sent the email. This is extremely horrible business practices and must be resolved.

    Ive been paying for a trip and paid a total of $3,400. The company has reported that the are no longer doing business because of allegations of being a scammer and refund requests from other customers. The company has dismantled all contact information and any means of reimbursement.

    The date of the three credit card transactions was between August and September 2022.I paid $ ******* to the travel agency.The charges were for flights/itinerary/ lodging/ transportation to ***** September 24, 2023, thru October 3, 2023.I purchased insurance for trip cancellations. On August 21, 2023, travel agency emailed a requested for "Final Detail Information" I sent copies of my state identification and passport.September 06, 2023, I received a cancellation email with different refund options. One option was a claim with travel insurance company. Both insurance company and I have reached out to them over a dozen times but no response. The travel agency has not responded to insurer or myself to refund my cost for their cancelled trip. I booked the trip thru advertisement on ******** and Instagram

    I paid for a trip with this company that included airfare. In April I was told an email went out in January stating that airfare would be refunded by February. I had 2 months to come up with airfare after already paying it that had more than doubled for my mom and I or I forfeited all monies paid due to not giving refunds. The trip was in June and it is now November and I have yet to receive a refund of airfare for my mom. My airfare was returned. My mom gave permission to the company for me to be able to handle all affairs regarding this refund since the trip was a gift from myself to her. I have attempted multiple times to contact business to get the airfare and the last time I was told it was sent which I never received. The owner should be able to check their account to verify if payment was successful or not. I feel that the owner intentionally withheld email because multiple people stated they did not receive the email in January in hopes that people would not show up and she would get to keep the money without having to do the service.
