    A deposit of $1,413.45 was paid to Viking Steel Structures on 3/2/2022. Since then, no one will return our calls or emails. I have called their customer service number multiple times since then only to be told that the sales person (Johny *******) will have to be who I speak to, but he has "just stepped out". We get told this EVERY time. This is unacceptable and we should receive an order cancelation and a full refund of our deposit.

    I have spoken to Mr **** and we have worked out the issues that were stated in his complaint. Mr **** now has what he needs to move forward with the process . I gave Mr **** my email and he will reach out to me if he has anymore issues. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused the customer and I will be taking action to make sure his calls are answered moving forward.

    On 3/1/2022 I paid Viking Steel products a deposit in the amount of $1175.75 for a 30ft x 30ft steel carport to be installed by them on my property. I sent them all the requested information and my written assurance there was ample room for the structure on my property. I have email documentation of many attempts to obtain information on the timing of the structure installation. On 6/15/22 I was informed that they would not build or install my carport as they thought there was not ample room for the structure. If you read my contract it does state that if I cancel my building the deposit is not refundable. It says nothing about them arbitrarily deciding not to build or install my structure and keeping my deposit. Who would sign a contract stating that ?! I have copies of my credit card transaction, their contract, and images of the space that still has no carport. This space is 40ft x 40ft . When I filed a transaction dispute with my credit card provider Viking Steel's response was "Goods were as described and received in good condition" . How could Viking Steel claim that "Goods were as described and received in good condition" when I have received absolutely nothing from them? I am only seeking to have my deposit refunded.

    **** *********** placed an order with us on 03/01/2022. He signed our terms and conditions that state, “Please note, down payment received is non-refundable.” Also on those terms and conditions it states “your assigned manufacturer is: ******** ******* (***-***-****).” Therefore Viking Steel Structures is not the responsible party for delivery and installation. I spoke with Mr. *********** on the phone on 07/19/2022 and explained that the manufacturer's decision has nothing to do with Viking Steel Structures. Unfortunately, the manufacturer deemed by photos that there was inadequate space to install the structure ordered. As stated on our terms and conditions, the customer signed states, “Please note, down payment received is non-refundable.” It does not specify anything about either partying canceling the order.

     I am rejecting this response because: I MADE A GOOD FAITH AGREEMENT WITH VIKING STEEL TO BUILD A STRUCTURE FOR ME. THEY REPRESENT THE MANUFACTURER THAT IS SUPPLYING THE PRODUCT. I DID NOT CHOOSE MANUFACTURER THEY DID. ******** ******** NEVER RECEIVED ANY MONEY FROM ME SO THEY DON'T OWE ME ANYTHING. THIS IS SUCH A DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE. I WILL NOT LET THIS GO. IF THE BBB DOESN'T WANT TO HELP ME I'LL TURN TO SOCIAL MEDIA AND ANY OTHER MEDIA OUTLET TO RECEIVE SATISFACTION.

    I have spoken the the customer via email and he is aware that Viking Steel Structures will be issuing him a refund check for his deposit. We sincerely regret that the manufacturer was not able to access the customers site.
