      Have always had good service with Alamance Oil/Berico. Responsive in a timely manner and easy to coordinate scheduling.

      We have no issues with the staff nor techs but we do with the billing department. They sent me an invoice about 2 weeks later for the amount that I paid the tech with a check. I called them and told them and they said the invoice comes out automatically. I told them they needed to change their process.
      Next time due They sent me a reminder I needed to schedule my winter check for my air/heat pump. I wasn't able to schedule immediately. I then got an invoice for the amount. I called them and told them I had not scheduled service yet and wanted to then. I was then informed the tech who came out for the summer check had also completed the winter check so I just needed to pay the invoice.
      I told them again their billing system needs changed and we will be looking at another provider to take care of our air/heat. This is only because of their billing system.
      Previously we were with Mitchell who sold to Berico and we couldn't have been happier. In fact we purchased 3 units since we moved to different house.
      I just got an email for a review on how they did just today (with no one coming out)
      I informed the staff when I talked with them about my going to look elsewhere and they didn't seem to concerned - just stating that the invoices was auto generated and they had no control.
      I would not recommend them to anyone considering the billing (not service)

      Hi ******, thank you so much for your feedback. I took the time this morning to review your account and it shows where you are on our service plan, which bills out at the annual renewal date. This is similar to insurance, where your system is covered by the benefits of the service plan and is not contingent of the tune-up. This allows you to receive discounts and bonus bucks for the 12 month period your service plan is paid for, plus you receive your $50 in bonus bucks with each renewal. The tune-up is a component of the service plan and can be scheduled anytime over a 12 month period (and there will not be a separate bill for the tune-up). We apologize for any miscommunication in our letter that is mailed at each renewal that tries to explain the benefits of our plan. If you would like to change your service agreement coverage to our basic tune-up offering, where the customer calls to schedule their tune-up but does not include any discounts/benefits, we are glad to accommodate your requests.. Feel free to give us a call and we can work through your options. Again, we apologize for any frustration and look forward to meeting your requests.
