  I was charged 39.99 for six months without my knowledge and when I contacted customer service they hid behind their legal agreements. TYPICAL SCAM WEBSITE!!! DO NOT USE!!!

  Extremely shady billing practices, thousands of people are being charged $39.95 automatically without their knowledge. If legal templates can set up an automatic billing, they can also set up an automatic email receipt, so customers know they're getting charged and will not be losing hundreds and thousands of dollars. Doesn't anyone question why they don't do this?
  All the reviews are about being billed, without customers knowledge, this has been going on for years, and Legal Templates knowingly leaves the broken system so they can continue to charge unknowing customers. Also they have a standard reply to this review, IT IS JUST WORDS, THEY DO NOTHING!

  Another greedy company with no care or compassion for anyone. I signed up for their premium ($1) trial. During the trial I fell victim to Hurricane Ian and was without power, without cell service, without internet, and with flood damage. Once I was able to get some normalcy back and utilities turned on the renewal had gone through. I emailed customer service and kindly asked them to return the renewal premium ($39.95) and they refused saying I had the option of cancelling via phone or online or email. Completely ignoring what I told them about not having any of those services. They refused to help. Maybe it is just “Crystal” or maybe it’s their company ethos to not give a crap about people. Either way, this is just further proof that customer SERVICE is a thing of the past. Nobody cares.

  I had a year paid subscription with legal Templates until about a month ago. Up until it came time to renew my subscription for the year I was pleased with their service. While trying to renew my subscription I encountered an issue processing my payment thru their website, I kept getting a strange error message that was a problem with their website (it stated "the state cannot be blank" but there was no option to enter a state). I communicated back and forth with their customer service for 3 weeks and never was able to renew my subscription. Their customer service stopped responding to my emails and I never got a resolution. I own a small pet sitting business and creating contracts is the keystone of my business, I can't provide services without one in place. This issue caused me to be unable to provide contracts and caused me to look very unprofessional to some of the clients (not how I hope to start my relationship with them). I called and spoke with their customer service several times as well and was not able to resolve my issue that way either- they said they aren't legally allowed to process payments over the phone (makes no sense). I have ended up going with another company for my contract services. I really liked their service but I can't do business with a company that is so unreliable and unable to correct issues with their product. It makes me concerned about the private information I have entered into their system for both myself and my clients.
