I have never left a negative BBB review so this is a first. About 6 months ago my apartment building was bought out by *****. To preface, Ive lived in this building for 6 yrs with 3 different owners and never had an issue. The other reviews arent lying. Literally NO ONE cares here. The team that was originally here left and was replaced by people who never answer emails or calls. The property is genuinely really gross (theres a slice of melted cheese stuck to a window and has been there for months). And to top it off, they divulged another tenants leasing issues to me via both phone call and email, informing me of the amount of rent they were behind on, which I find to be wildly unprofessional, a breach of ethics and privacy policies and also put me in the most uncomfortable position. I wouldn't recommend anyone take a chance on a property owned by Bells, no matter how nice it may appear from a tour.

I lived at Axis at ****** in ******, a property managed by Bell Partners. While my security deposit was eventually returned, it took over six weeks, far exceeding the 30-day deadline required by Texas law. I reached out multiple times with no responsecalls, emails, nothing.Only after I escalated the issue to Bell Partners corporate office did I receive a call back from the property manager that same day, offering excuses and vague reasoning for the delay. Had I not taken that step, Im not confident I wouldve ever heard back. This lack of communication and failure to comply with legal timelines is unacceptable, especially from a large management company. The experience was stressful and left me feeling disregarded as a former tenant. Im sharing this so future renters know what to expect in terms of responsiveness and accountability.

This is for bell partners properties @north legacy. I've been here 7 years. I just signed new lease. Then massive pot and cigarettes smoke started coming into the vents and around microwave every day and night. They state they investigated and they don't smell smoke. For 4 months non stop no help at all. It's so bad my home smells like pot house and cigarettes. Don't ever rent with these woke idiots. There's smoking everywhere and I sent pictures to them. They say prove it. No regional manager to call. Nothing

Why even bother having a phone in your office if youre not going to answer it? If I had known that I would have to drive to the leasing office every time I had a concern or a question, because my phone calls and emails go unanswered, Id have chosen another complex. Everything here is broken. The emergency line is not even answered. Their management is awful, and does nothing to help their residents.

Theyre simply terrible! I live in their community in ************************** where it takes 3 weeks to complete ANY service request. The apartments are filthy filled with dog ****, thrash on the ground, the worse part is the people who work in the office. When approached with a problem their response is always I understand but, never fixing the issue. Since theyve taken over management has been horrible and continues to get worse. Ive attempted to reach their Dallas corporate office course no one answers the phone. I absolutely hate it here and cannot wait to move.

Only giving one star because there isn't an option for 0 stars. Since Bell Partners has purchased the apartment community in which I reside, the property condition has declined. They do not salt or turn off sprinklers when freeze warnings are issued (leading to frozen sheets of ice all over walkways), they only clean the floors around the leasing office, any concerns brought to them via email are ignored. The amount of ***** matter strewn around the property is inconceivable. The dog f**** waste bins are not emptied or taken care of in a timely fashion, leading to bags of p*** overflowing onto the street. As of today, there is ***** matter IN THE HALLWAYS. There is no housekeeping to be found. This is a health hazard, and they do not care. Any response to my concerns is followed up with "Please contact us if there is an emergency."

Bell properties ********** ** I have lived in Bell Properties for over 3 years The first complex I lived at over 3 years was Mayfaire Flats in ********** ** The first move wtihin this complex was due to 24 hour smoking of marijuana from apartment below and above my unit I filed written and verbal complaint with both onsite management and wrote the **************** No help to resolve the issue So I rented a different unit in same community and ask if they could please refer me to an apartment in the complex without Smokers in the adjoining unit. This worked for about 6 months of the lease and I was going to not resign my lease when it ended A family emergency arised and the manager said only one unit available to rent in the as I waited too long to renew Well this apartment was a whole new discovery of concern The unit beside me and above me with the help of the on site maintenance crew Were connected the electrical circuit from my apartment to the above apartment and the ones connected to me on the side Once again I wrote the **************** in ************* to explain my concern about the maintenance crew accessing my electrical circuit to supply electricity to the unit above my unit and on the sides of my unit. The manager at ************ in not so polite response suggested I had my own meter for electricity I explained to her and the corporate office ************* and noise behind my fuse box Which is accessible through wall of the electric maintenance room, which by the way only the **************** has access to.Well the corporate office allowed to to break the lease So I moved to a newer Bell property ****** Renaissance I am presently residing here for not Quite a month And Already the maintenance crew or a resident that has been assist by someone with access to the electric room Is connecting perhaps an indoor generator or Once again in my walls where electric current wire run To access my Electricity I wrote the Bell Property Headquarters

This is a typical response I have received from **** **************** after every attempt to get ************* I type this response Someone is in the electrical room( locked of course to anyone not on the maintenance team or associated with **************************** (fuse box)In my apartment Someone is audibly behind there connecting What I can only believe is some sort of generator apparatus to directly behind my Electric Panel. I live in apartment 304 apartments 404 of 1033 is and I am reporting connecting to my electricity. I have written **** **************** a letter to address the ****** Reinsurance complaint. They did not respond . This electrical connection Im sure is illegal and my concern is also can cause a ********************, an Electrical Fire can cause loss of Property and Lives. This is a concern for my renters insurance which names ****** Property in Disclosures. This activity is mostly occurring after the office is closed. And also who is going to check the hand of the very Maintenance personnel hired for the property. It has cost me financially to relocate 2 times over $2,000 and great physical stress packing. This type of Activity is a Fire hazard. An Electrical Fire Hazard. And Accessing Electrical Panels and connecting generators to someone elses electrical system seems illegal. And once Again if **************** is aware that maintenance personnel or their associates are involved if an Electrical Fire Breaks out and ****** Renaissance or Mayfair Flatts Apartments collect monies from Insurance Companies listed on policies This is Fraud. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

If I could give this company negative 100 stars I would. I was overcharged on my last bill for the apartment before I moved out, and was also charged a 4K lease break fee that I was trying to get waived as the only reason I was moving out was due to closing on a first time home. The problem I am having is NONE of the corporate offices answer their phones or return calls or messages. I have even went to the corporate website and tried to contact them that way, along with on their ******** page, and they never answer. If you cannot waive the 4K lease break fee, just tell me that, don't tell me you will speak to the manager about it, promise you will contact me, and then not do that nor return any of my messages. Also, because the corporate office never returns the calls, I'm having trouble disputing the charges on my last bill as I am only given about 10 days from the notice to pay before it is turned over to collections. This is the worst company ever

Bell Partners is what I would call "fake luxury slumlords". At least judging by the building where I reside, it is the kind of place you'd expect to find after a flip - everything looks good, but isn't. The "resort pool" is unusable and *****. The elevators are broken half the time, for months on end. At any given point, there are gates and/or building doors that are broken and therefore any one of the lunatic homelsss people who live around here can enter at will. When they "fix the water line so the water will be off for 3 hours", it's off for a day and they don't provide any updates. When you call the office to complain, you get attitude and huge "I couldn't care less" energy. When they test their fire alarm, which is all the time, it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on. It wouldn't occur to them to do point-checks. No. The entire buildings needs to suffer for long periods of time, while our pets and babies lose their hearing. But really, the worse thing about living in a Bell Partners property is just how much building management and ************* coudlnt' care less about their tenants if they tried. They don't even pretedn or try to make it sound like they do. They don't care about you and they WANT you to know it.Avoid living in any of their properties. These people should be standing trial, not running properties.

I used to work for bell partners and also lived on property. Still do except its now owned by a new company. I transferred from a 3 bedroom to a townhouse and was told my the pm at the time that my water bill would transfer over so I thought I had paid it. 2 years later they have sent me to collections. I have now 2 different collection agencies charging me 2 different amounts and nobody at bell partners knows how to handle it. I never received a letter saying that I owed anything and not to mention I would not have been able to transfer if I owed anything. Now I cant rent a new place until I get this taken off of my credit. I reached out to both collection agencies and one is charging me $65 more and saying that I moved out in 2023 when I moved out in 2022. And the other one is saying that even though they put me in collections They dont have all of the information yet to tell me what will happen after I pay it off if they can remove it from my credit or not Which I think is absolutely crazy. I reached out to *********** to see if they can at least dispute one of them But Im waiting to hear back. I have tried talking to so many people, but nobody knows whats going on or can you help me figure this out. I have always paid everything. Ive never had any evictions or anything like that So Im not sure what to do anymore.
