  True Homes warranty department is abysmal to put it nicely. The sales staff and builder were all nice and professional, but the real pain is the warranty department which you will notice as a trend if you look up complaints.We purchased a newly built property and closed on May 20th, 2023. We thankfully paid for our own inspector and was able to find a lot of missed quality control items that were rectified before closing. However, ONLY DAY 4 of being in our new home the entry way bathroom began to flood the entry way. Why you might ask? The waterline from the house to the city was damaged sometime during construction, so once we as the new buyers moved in we get the luxury of discovering an overlooked aspect of the build. Do things out of our control happen? Absolutely. I understand anything can happen regardless how much you try to do a good job. But if you engage in buying with True Homes you will hear it verbally and through documentation/email how "rigorous" the "True Home Standards" are before hand off. Also, the plumbing issue isn't the main gripe. It's the level of service you will receive from the warranty department. You will have to stay on them like a child to get updates and approximate date/time for contractors to come perform the repair work. You can also count on the fact that the warranty department will deploy contractors with zero context and instruction of what needs to be done. 4 groups of contractors have showed up to our home and only 1 of them had an actual work order form in their hand. Even with work they are contractually obligated to fulfill, a representative from the warranty group cannot be bothered to show up to make sure they know what to do and that it's done to a standard. This department validates what everyone knows about warranty departments, they really do wash their hands once the sale's complete. We love our home now that it's intact, but they are a stain in our memory of buying our first home.

  My experience with Tru Homes has been a good one thus far! The entire team has been nothing but nice and professional. I have only been in my home for 3weeks now so I am still on high from buying my 1st home. If I could offer a piece of advice, that would be for the cleanup crew to take a little more time with cleaning the home before the homeowner moves in.

  I had a nice experience with True Homes and recommend them over other well known developers in the greater **************. This isn't my first build so trust me when I say the quality and details of my home are upscale for a price that I could manage. So far the warranty team has lived up to the promise of responding in a timely fashion. The process of purchasing and building was not as easy as it was before. My life circumstances has changed (solo buyer), So this process was stressful and overwhelming at times. My sales person/contact at true homes was ******* and she providing information and encouragement through this process. I am happy that I chose true homes and I recommend true homes as well.

  True Homes is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I have had nothing but problems since the day I closed on my home. They do not stand behind their work and their representatives continously lie to customers. After only four years of being in my home, I have a roof leak due to the poor workmanship of this company. The shingles were improperly installed, resulting in needing a new roof. True Homes refuses to correct the problem, stating workmanship is only warrantied for one year. They know their quality of work is extremely low, which is why they do not offer anything past one year. I have also experienced improper sealing around the home, no insulation over the bedroom, faulty electrical, water heater problems, and the ac unit has already had major issues. Absolutely ridiculous!!

  We regret this client is frustrated. True Homes has executed their warranty policy to the fullest extent and while this client is beyond the warranty policy, we provided them an opportunity to provide us documentation to have their claim reviewed. We have not received it yet, but regardless of when they submit, we are always willing to review their concern.

  After purchasing homes in several different states and through several lenders, I was impressed with True Homes process. Our expectations were measured in that we were purchasing a tract home instead of a custom home.The contract initiation, mortgage company, and escrow agent kept us informed along the way. The final date moved from the original date but we were looking for a complete product and we remained flexible. It only went about 30 days beyond that original date. The county had more to do with that than True Homes.The walkthrough was exceptional. The site supervisor went out of his way to ensure that all of our issues were addressed. We appreciated his thoroughness. The electronic process indicating the stage was helpful though nothing replaced the human element.We would purchase from True Homes again,
