      WRNTY00071307 Im beyond frustrated with Green Bean Battery. This is now the second time Ive had to file a warranty claim due to a failed battery in my 2004 ****** Prius and the experience this time has been completely *************** most recent claim was approved on May 19, 2025, and as of today (July 5), Ive gotten a text stating theyre doing every thing they can. With my first battery failure, they replaced it within a week. But this time, Ive been left in the dark for nearly two months. Ive called multiple times, waited on hold for hours including one time for over 2.5 hours, only to be told the office was closed. Emails responses take forever, and theres no way to reach anyone who can actually help.Green Bean advertises use to offer a lifetime warranty, but what good is a warranty if they refuse to honor it or even communicate? Im stuck without a working car and completely ignored despite doing everything right on my end.This is not just poor customer service its negligence. Do not trust this company to stand by their product or treat customers fairly. I feel taken advantage of, and unless this is resolved immediately, Ill be pursuing further action. Dont buy a refurb. Purchase a new cell battery by ******. Or from a hybrid guy with new cells.

      So upset with this company is an understatement. In 2023 my hybrid battery went out so I took it to *****. ***** put me up in a rental car for a month while they went through Green Bean Battery for a new battery which turns out isnt new. Green Bean Battery remade my failed hybrid battery. Fast forward to today, two years later my hybrid battery failed again. I have called several times and each time have waited on hold for 40 mins minimum. Not to mention you cannot speak to anyone in the warranty department because their phones are turned off so you HAVE to speak to sales which cant help with the warranty aspect of anything. Submitted my claim exactly one week ago, got an automated email response stating someone would reach out within 72 hours. Well, its been a week and no word from a single person. I had to spend $400 for a rental vehicle out of my own pocket since I do not have a back up vehicle, thinking a week would be plenty of time for my hybrid battery to be ***laced. Wrong! Still waiting. This is the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with! ***** has even tried to reach out to Green Bean Battery on my behalf and waited on hold for 2 hours and never got anyone to answer. This is unacceptable for so many reasons! A sales *** with Green Bean Battery stated there are only 5 sales ***s and the warranty department shut down their phones because theyre training new hires. Also that they get swamped every summer for warranty calls. Something needs to change! I dont even know how this company is still in business!! Also, I would never give this company any stars but in order to move on, I have to give at least one. They deserve zero!!!

      Our initial experience with Green Bean battery in 2023 was great. The young man who came to our house and installed the battery in our Prius was very knowledgeable and professional.Unfortunately, we now have a warranty claim (ticket #WRTY00072260) that we have filed and the customer service has been very poor. Our car has been sitting for over a month, waiting for a tech to schedule the replacement in our area.Seems to be fairly common experience for other customers. We have discussed our options with an attorney if this company fails to honor their product warranty.

      I've called green bean to replace my battery several times and have given them the information they needed to replace it. No one picks up, my emails have not been returned, an automated machine comes on saying their closed during during normal business hours. Now I'm wondering how I'm going to get my money back

      I have a warranty claim for a replacement hybrid battery for my Prius #WRNTY00070939. I bought a hybrid battery from them in 2022 and its still under the 3 year warranty. Its been a week since the approval and I have heard no response from them about scheduling an appt to replace the hybrid battery. When I texted the other phone number (910 area code) from the website, they texted back saying I could get a new replacement battery in 2-3 days for a new customer. Why does it take weeks for all the warranty people to get their replacement hybrid batteries and new customers can get theirs in 2-3 days? That is not right and poor customer service. My wife and I have had to adjust our work schedules to coordinate with my oldest daughter's school and her activities because she can't drive her Prius. The Prius has been sitting in front of the house for almost 2 weeks and ****** manual says we shouldn't drive it it with the check hybrid system error message on. It shouldn't matter whether I'm a new customer or not. If there is a ********************** available, it should be going to the next person waiting whether it's for someone under warranty or if it's a new customer. This type of service is unacceptable. My daughter and I are fed up. I will never tell my friends to buy a hybrid battery from you guys ever again. They are the worst and no one answers by phone from the warranty ***** They do everything by emails which is so frustrating. Don't buy any hybrid batteries from them.

      I had this company recommended to me by a friend who owned a prius and used them to replace their dead battery. Initially, everything was great. I wouldn't complain at all about the original experience. They handled it quickly, came out and installed the battery. I purchased the lifetime warranty with this battery just in case of a future problem. Lo and behold, that problem finally came in the form of loads of dash lights. I read the codes with an OBD and sent them to the *** warranty department. I quickly received an email stating that my warranty request was approved and someone would be reaching out to me shortly about scheduling a replacement. Almost a month later - I haven't received another word from GBB. I've sent them multiple emails, called any number I could find on the internet, and not a single word from the company. It's as if they've been intentionally ignoring me when all I ask for is a timeframe. I need this Prius for work, it's my business vehicle. I would like them to give me a timeframe so I can make a decision on whether I need to wait or file a lawsuit to recover the money I gave them for a service they refused to honor.

      So grateful to Green Bean for fixing our Prius! Got it fixed in about an hour and they came to the house to do it! So glad they are in business! My husband got his Camry hybrid fixed by them 5 years ago and its still running strong!! Thank you!!

      The employees went above and beyond after a communication snafu. They kept me informed as to the status of my order. Initial contact was lacking however they apparently sent in the A team to take care of me, communication is key and they upped their game. *******, the installer was on time, professional and patient with all of my questions-explaining the process. Overall a positive experience so I guess well see how the new batteries hold out and shout out to the customer service personnel.
