This bank should be sued in a class action lawsuit! They delay delay delay on getting my money from a CD I had invested with them. It's been OVER TWO WEEKS since it matured and they still have not sent me the doc-u-sign documents to get a check issued so they can mail to me! UNBELIEVABLE! Worst operation of any bank EVER! And I have been with Savings and Loans than have gone under. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Worse than US Bank.

Opened up an online savings account in October. Called in three separate times and could never get access to the account despite the agents verifying that the username and temporary password given was correct. Ended up closing the account I could never get access to and was charged for closing early. Spoke to a supervisor who purposely hung up on me while transferring me to her supervisor. As far as I'm concerned they're crooks.

The ***************** Branch performs very poorly. They do not look out for there client. They are more worried about bringing money into there own pockets then there clients. Very poor trades were made without being open to clients. I would not recommend the ***************** Branch to anyone.

I have been a first citizens bank customer for 15 years. A few months back I took a trip to ******* where my credit card was charged over $9,000 without my authorization. When getting back to the states, I filed a dispute for these charges. The dispute was denied due to the following reasons. The card was not reported lost or stolen. The chip was used for these charges, which has been said that the card was in my possession the entire time meaning I made these purchases. I have called to reopen the dispute but was denied unless I could provide any more evidence to the matter. When I asked what kind of evidence I was supposed to provide, the representative told me that he couldnt think of any. So I am left with $9,000+ charges that are accumulating to over $11,000+ now on charges that I did not authorize. As I said before, Ive been a customer for 15 years and have had loans, kept my money in my checking account, with zero issues. I was planning on taking out a mortgage loan with the bank as well. Now, since there is no further assistance from anyone at first citizens bank, I will be removing all of my money and business from first citizens going forward. A 15 year customer gone (friends and family included) because a solution to clear fraudulent activity of $9,000 couldnt be resolved.

I have received a bill from First Citizens Bank and Trust in regard to a safety deposit box in which has been closed. They do not seem to be able to keep up with their own record keeping. Now you know why I am no longer a customer of this bank. I would suggest you try a different bank for your needs.

We established a ***** years ago and used very little of the balance for quite some time. Over time we used close to our limit and, of course, made all payments and interest. On October 1st, 2023, they charged our account $263.00 for interest for the month. On October 10th, we paid an additional $20,000 on the account and were charged AGAIN interest in the amount of $313.00. That amounts to $576.00 interest in 10 days. I quickly called to inquire as to how this could happen and was told : 1. I should have told the person that I made the $20,000 payment to, that it was a PRINCIPAL ONLY payment. (Had NO idea this was necessary and still don't understand the statement. 2. I was told that the system RESETS on the 7th for another full interest charge. This is ridiculous first because there is no disclosure about that anywhere and in addition the balance that payment was made for was HALF the amount on the first of the month. MY REAL question is that my understanding was that any additional payment to the loan would only be charged the PER DIAM amount which was about $4.50 per day. I spent over two hours and multiple transfers to different people to gather all this information. Let me say this, the bank removed the second interest charge, they said, to appease me, however the real reason was that they knew this was inappropriate and needed to remove the charge. While I did appreciate what they did, please do not lose sight of the fact that if I had not sought resolution to this situation, First Citizens would have kept my money and never looked back. Obviously, I have terminated my relationship with this bank. I cannot imagine how many of these predatory transactions have taken place within this bank. If I could possibly give 0 star for service, I would. Interesting to note that the individual assigned to my HELOC had NO idea why this happened in the first place.*********************** Reply, Reply All or Forward

My company has been attempting to get a title for a truck from First Citizens/CIT for over 4 months and we are still getting the runaround. They have not responded to emails or phone calls. Their customer service rep gave me no help and asked me to FAX them information (VIN, license plate numb, etc.)! I was told specifically to fax them the information as there is no email that the information can be sent to. I am at the point of having to turn this over to the lawyers.

Recently a large amount of funds disappeared from our company bank account at ********************** due to fraud. On investigation it was found that the only way the fraud could have been initiated was by the bank customer information being compromised through a security breach. The bank has refused to give any information as to where the funds went, who received the funds and have spent weeks now investigating but not answering our phone calls, requiring nudge after nudge on our end through email. The police were brought in due to the large fraud and have stated they themselves are having a hard time getting information from the bank and in fact have now subpoenaed the bank. Despite heavy evidence indicating a likely internal security breach within the bank, they have offered no help and deny and claim no wrong-doing. Do not trust this bank with your funds.

*************************, Financial Services Specialist, overstepped her boundaries by putting her own interests before the betterment of the company. ****** acted upon preventing an individuals progress of doing inventory for the heirs by intentionally blocking or interfering for unjustifiable reasons. ****** did provide September 2023 but refused March - April 2022. ****** was inconsistent with management style where she shared one month of the statement then blatantly refused to share a different month which was unfair and showed ******************************* favor over others as if it was personal. The Bank account changed to ******************************* solely after the death of ****************************** which is illegal of ****************** When the principal dies, they are no longer the legal owners of their property therefore ****** allowed ******** to act illegally and as an accomplice. It appears that acts of falsification are taking place at First Citizens Bank in **********, **. ****** also asserted a position of intellectual superiority in a condescending passive aggressive and offensive manner. The resolution in this matter is the copy of March and April 2022 bank statement which is pertinent for the Inventory process regaining the estate of ******************************.

They need to be closed, fined, and Their executives need to be held accountable and sanctioned. This is a public company! . They can not process the simple closing of a savings account. After all paperwork done, confirmed by ********, and also sent my drivers license. One month later no check sent to me for over $200,000 in savings. 3 added phone calls, contradictory statements. They can not find my paperwork Or my Driverss license!!! This is a horrific **********************. I have no idea when they will give me my savings. I have no debt or expenses due them.
