We purchased solar panels and a back-up battery from a company who then contracted with Lighting Electric to install the panels. The install for the panels is fine, however the battery backup was / is on back order and we were told it would be brought out when it came in. The panels were installed around the middle of September. I have tried to contact Lighting Electric multiple times, via phone call, text message, left voice mails asking about the status of the battery backup. I have yet to get a response. I have called the company the panels are from and was told that everything was ordered from the installer so he would have access to look up any info on the status. All I want is either my battery backup installed or at the very least information on what is going on with it. Communication goes a long way for customer service, and I am getting nothing. All I'm asking for is a response. An update, anything!!!!!!!!!

I have told the customer it was on back order and when it comes in we will contact them so it can get installed

I am rejecting this response because:
It's not the quality of the work he has done, it's the lack of customer service. I have tempted to contact him multiple times asking for an update. A simple text saying it is still on back order or any kind of update would have  been sufficient. According to the company the equipment should have been back in stock by the end of Nov. What is the actual status of the backup battery? I want documentation stating any information on it.

The business at this moment does not have an estimated time on when they will receive the order. Once received the business will contact the consumer.

Lighting Electric is my solar system installer and Maintainer. They installed the system and are my sole contact for warranty related service. Half of my solar system has not been generating power since february 2022. For several months i have been trying to get Lighting electric to set up a service call. they are ignoring my calls and messages and by doing this refusing to do warranty work. the system has a ************************************* 2018.
