      From start to finish, this experience was very positive! Pick up and deliveries were confirmed and on time. The website was easy to navigate but there were a few times I had to call and the weight was lengthy, but there is a callback feature. Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend to anyone looking for this type of service!

      Extremely frustrated with Pack-Rats pickup process. My container was delivered in ***** on 06/28, and I had scheduled pickup for 07/01. However, they claim they tried to call me on 07/01 and, because I didnt answer, they skipped the pickup entirely now rescheduling it for 07/08, a full week later.This delay is unacceptable. My property management has a strict 72-hour rule, and Im now at serious risk of being fined or penalized due to this unnecessary delay. At no point during my scheduling conversations was I told that I needed to be available or respond to a call for the pickup to happen. In fact, I was explicitly under the impression (and based on their own policy) that customer presence is not required for pickup, only for delivery.I tried to escalate this, but received no timely resolution. This entire experience has left me feeling ignored and incredibly stressed especially after trusting Pack-Rat to move my container across states. This kind of ******************** and poor communication is not what I expected from a national moving company.I hope someone from management sees this and takes immediate steps to:Pick up the container as soon as possible, and Ensure that customers are not penalized for failed pickups when theyve done everything correctly on their end.

      If I could give a negative star review I would. My mom is in remission from cancer and had to move back to ****** from *****. Long story short, they screwed up the delivery date TWICE. Was supposed to be delivered June 27, then pushed to July 2, now it's July 3rd. She's hired movers to unload the pods and will lose her deposit now because of the late notice second reschedule. Calling them is a joke. Wait on hold, ask for a supervisor then disconnected. My mom doesn't need or deserve this stress. Shame on your company for such an awful experience. Her whole life is in those pods and they are almost holding them hostage.

      I ordered a pod from 1-800-pack-rat on 6/16/2025.They confirmed out delivery date of 6/30 via email.They also confirmed via an email reminder the friday ********* was confimed via 3 seperate **** that our delivery date was confirmed for 6/30.We were also given a delivery window on 6/30.The container never showed up and 1-800-pack-rat told us that we now had no delivery date and couldn't tell us where the container was or when it would be delivered.We had to to stay home from work for 2 days to wait for this container to be delivered, we finally had to cancel the order after speaking with 7 different representatives, 3 of which all confimed our original delivery date.This cost us time and money. I would never use this service or recommend anyone to use 1-800-pack-rat every again.If i could give zero stars I would

      Extremely Disorganized Experience Moving Made Easy Is a Joke My move with 1-800-PACK-RAT is still ongoing, but the experience so far has been incredibly frustrating. Their slogan is Moving Made Easy, but this has been anything but ******* began with the company inputting the wrong phone number into their system, which caused delays on the delivery day. After spending a long time on hold, the number was corrected and the first unit was dropped off. The driver was unhappy when I asked him to reposition the unit and said he was limited to 20 minutes per drop-off I ended up helping move it myself just to get it done.The second unit didnt arrive until 10:45 p.m., which is completely unacceptable.Scheduling the pickup was worse. I was given a morning window, waited, and later found out (after being on hold for over an hour) that my pickup date had been changed without any notice. I was told by the escalation team that I could extend my move with no added fees but the confirmation only reflected one unit, and fees were still included.I had to call again, wait another 90+ minutes, and re-explain the entire situation. I was then told only premium fees would be waived not all fees, contradicting what I was previously told. After yet another call that evening, I was assured both units would be picked up the next morning with no extra charges.Because of all the previous issues, I called again the next morning to confirm. As of 12:30 p.m., Im still waiting to see if the pickup will happen.The customer service has been inconsistent, the communication poor, and the delays unacceptable. This process has been far more stressful than it needed to be. If this is Moving Made Easy, Id hate to see what difficult looks like.

      I used this company, paid extra for my 16ft container to be delivered on a specific date. They had the container 2 weeks before the move. I drove 28hrs to find out my container never left the origin location. That's just the beginning, they also managed to miss the next delivery date with no communication of it. I called back and was told the driver was running a day behind. Rescheduled again for 2 days later. Just to find out after confirming that morning it would be delivered my container was put on a hold and that was never explained. THE ONLY person at 1800packrats who was in any way helpful was the local warehouse manager. He called me on a Sunday and worked to help me get my belongings 2 weeks after it was suppose to have already been delivered. Everyone else from the corporate phone number will do nothing but lie and transfer your call continuously until you hangout or give up. This is the absolute worst company service I have ever dealt with. I recommend no one ever use this horrible company. Save yourself the headache pay extra and find a reputable moving company instead.

      I used 1-800-PACK-RAT for a move and was very disappointed to find out that my final price was increased due to a fuel surcharge. At no point during the booking or scheduling process was I told that my rate could change based on gas prices. When I contacted customer service, they told me this policy was mentioned in the terms and conditions, which I dont recall ever receiving or being ******** feels deceptive to bury price changes in fine print and not clearly communicate something as important as potential cost increasesespecially when many people are trying to budget tightly during a move. I would have appreciated transparency up front so I could plan accordingly or explore other options.If youre considering using this company, be very careful to ask detailed questions about what might cause your quote to increase. I wont be using them again.

      I have had good experiences using Pack Rat. I've used them several times now. I always experience a terror watching my containers be driven away that I might not see my stuff again, but they have always arrived at my new home. Because you put your own lock on the container, I don't have to worry about theft of my stuff. Every employee I've ever dealt with, either in the warehouse for container access, or on the phone, has always provided superior customer service. I believe the company is well managed and strives to be the best in the moving business.

      Wonderful experience! Our cross country move was seamless and all scheduled times were honored. Anytime I had to call customer service (for a few questions) they were so helpful! 10 outta 10 would recommend!
